![]() I have a dex & int based Android Investigator in Iron Gods. It's fantastic, I do great vs traps and knowledge stuff. But I am severely lacking in battle. What can I do?! Just hit level 3, so I can change up anything at 3. We already have a techslinger and Savage Technologist in the Party, so I'm a little hesitant towards gunsling'n. The build at 3:: Glowbug

![]() Please post your ideas, thoughts, sayings and whatever else you can think of to make priests of Razmir loved by everyone. The first time that I ever ran into this archetype I was GMing a 5-9 scenario in the high tier. The PCs and the GM (me) fell in love with the priest of Ramir, he was healing like crazy and doing all kind of divine stuff, by the end of the game we were all like, "Hail Razmir". I currently have a priest of Razmir in PFS Truth:
Sorcerer with the Priest of Razmir Archetype from Inner Sea Magic Give out healing all the time, for free. Every time you heal say something nice about Razmir's healing power. I burn through wands of CLW healing the whole party. When I played The Confirmation, people were like, "How did you cast CLW 20 times?" The GM threw me a wink and said, "Thats just what priests of Razmir can do." No one in the party had spellcraft. Cast bless on the party and give out as many buffs as possible. Each time talking about the glory, love, blood and divinity of Razmir. Don't get too preachy Here are some preachy quotes form Masks of the Living God that I am going to start quoting.
Quotes from Masks of the Living God: Razmir is the god above all other gods. Those who would claim otherwise are jealous of His glory and spread lies in an attempt to tarnish his mask. The mask of the Living God is a

![]() I want to retrain my 5th level ki power from True Strike to Mighty Fist of Earth. (Need better ranged attacks.) I'm currently level 9 in PFS. Would the retraining count as a feat or class feature? The ki power had replaced high jump. So I'm guessing class feature. Or is it spells known (UA p.191)? Here is what I got for calculating the cost.

![]() I recently played Werewolf Ultimate and I'm enamored with it. Not like "PATHFINDER ENAMORED", but I still really dig it. I'm new to it, but I've been told it's like Mafia. I plan to goto a few Werewolf events the next few months and learn moderating. It's a really different game, it gets the blood pumping. From what I've noticed, people play it late into the night and crave it all the time. Who's up for late night Werewolf Ultimate at PaizoCon 2014? ![]()
![]() I've been planning to buy some face cards for home brewing ever since I saw Mike Shea's Tools of the Lazy Dungeon Master. Since I mostly run PFS, I was wondering if any of the face cards contain reoccurring NPCs from Society Play? Especially venture-captains: Drendle Drang, Torch, Ambrus Valsin, Sheila Heidmarch, etc. I would buy those in a heartbeat. ![]()
![]() Any tips, ideas and hints? Should they be equal levels to the PCs? Same amount of adventurers? What makes a great rival party of adventurers? The game contains five level 8 PCs. Can I pit them against five level 8 NPCs? I plan to make the rivals funny, introduce them one at a time to not instigate a fight, possible allies and not holding on to the PC's future treasure. ![]()
![]() As a store coordinator I plan out all of our upcoming games. Most of the time I plan out the games according to what is new and what has not been played recently. I've found the latter to be a little inferior. Instead I think it would be better to plan to have ongoing stories from week to week. What are your ideas for PFS campaign arcs? And what scenarios would you put together for a great experience? Here is what I got so far: GOBLIN ARC: We Be Goblins > Frostfur Captives > Rise of the Goblin Guild > We Be Goblins Too! > ? Some other ideas for arcs:

![]() Are there any PFS games that fit well into a 2 hour slot?
Pathfinder Society Quests seem like a decent option, but the don't offer any exp. Are there any other Quests other than Ambush in Absalom? What other options do we have? ![]()
![]() I'm creating a potion loving monk. Tiefling Oni-spawn with prehensile tail and accelerate drinker trait. Would it be legal to quaff a potion of shocking grasp one round, and then add the damage to flurry of blows the next round? Or would the touch attack of a shocking grasp not stack with a unarmed strike of a flurry? ![]()

![]() I'm the PFS store coordinator at Endgame in Oakland. I took over coordination/mustering few months ago but now I'm planning our schedule for the first time. We game for 4 hours 7-11PM. I'm trying to juggle lots of players who've played and judged lots of older scenarios along with new players. I'm thinking of introducing some of these older specials that have never been played at the store along with Thornkeep. How many sessions do the following scenarios take? What are your thoughts on some of these specials for regular game days. 2-EX Year of the Shadow Lodge (1–11)

![]() You excited/into Riddick? It's quotes like this that get me excited: Star and producer Vin Diesel describes the environment he tried to create on set, which was heavily indebted to his experiences with role-playing games: I try to create an environment where, when we step onto the set, we’re all in character. A funny thing we used to say while we were playing Dungeons & Dragons, when someone would say something random like, “I’m tired, so I might just take a nap,” the DM would say, “Everything that you say is in game,” which is a similar approach to the way we approached making this movie. When you come onto the set, everything should be focused around your character and you should stay in the pocket, as much as possible. Every actor has their own process. For me, I really need to stay in the pocket. So, if I’m on set and I’m in character, I’m not thinking like a producer. If I’m on set and I’m not in character, wardrobe and make-up, and I’m just coming on set for the moments that I’m not shooting, then I’m able to be the producer. This was tricky because it wasn’t like being the producer of Fast & Furious. This was being the producer of something that, if it didn’t work, I would have lost my house. Everything that I had on my life was leveraged to make this movie. So, the stakes were higher than for any producer I know because the skin in the game was real. I was so committed to answering this growing request from the social media fans to continue this character, and the only way that I could pull it off was by leveraging everything. ![]()
![]() YES! This article rocks. Vin Diesel tells us why Riddick is one big game of Dungeons & Dragons Anyone got time to whip up a Riddick pathfinder compatible product? ![]()
![]() Any recommendations for modules that last 3 hours? The best module for our group for time/size has been we be Goblins. Last week I ran Everyone Lies from the Streets of Zobeck, and set it in Kaer Maga. It was fantastic, especially with all the thugs pushing around our companions. I just removed one encouter to make it fit in our 3 hour block. Note about the the PC's: The PC's are neutral leaning and ALL GNOMES! Just reached LEVEL 2. They're a bunch of circus/adventures/wanna be hero types. Lot's of shenanigans! ![]()
![]() I have a Barbarian 1 /Cleric 1. After reaching my 2nd level and taking cleric, I was reminded of the Rage Prophet. I can't get Rage Prophet out of my head. So now I'm thinking of switching over to Oracle for my 3rd level. I'm thinking you would get the max spell slots of each class, not stacked . Four lvl0 spells & two lvl1 spells, right? Cleric 1 / Oracle 1
+ Oracle @ Level 1
= ? Since we are on the subject what if it was a Cleric 1 / Wizard 1? Stacked like hotcakes? ![]()

![]() Please help me out creating amazing encounters in a RtR side quest. I would love to have your best and most hilarious ideas. I also need you to recommend stat blocks for the encounter. If you want a 'lil backstory & what I have planned:
In my RtR game, the PC's will be finishing Nkechi quests this week and returning to Elder. They have 2 in game days before the expedition begins. I decided to reach into each characters back stories for some side madness. The faction they chose is the Red Mantis. They would love to get revenge for freeman's warehouse attacks, and they think the Shackles Pirate faction is behind it. They're right.
In Corky's backstory, his rival is a Pirate Captain named Black Sam. As they return to Elder, they'll catch sight of Black Sam's ship parked next to the Shackles Faction's ship. Corky the Drool will want revenge for his permanent drool. So I'm going to have them goto Nkechi's favorite pub. Where Gelik will be performing his ballad about "Gelik: the hero of smuggler's Shiv, and the PCs' half orc barbarian is a big oaf, with his semi useful companions, who'd be nothing with out the great Gelik." Kyras, the ex-indentured spy/ninja, is going to be confronted by an agent of his past and will not want his whereabouts revealed. As they leave the pub it should begin with chase scene of a spy/ninja type person leading to the Aspis warehouse. As the chase begins, Aries and her all female pirates ambushing PC's for romantic revenge. Possibly kidnapping the PC and taking him to Black Sam's ship. If not, then there faction leader (Red Mantis) will order them to take out Black Sam's ship because it's filled with supplies that will empower the Shackles Faction's expedition. This fight will go simultaneously with the chase scene.
The PC's:
THE ENCOUNTER Here is where i could use help, ideas & CR recomendations BBEG encounter with a pirate named Black Sam (+ a minion or two). How would you stat this pirate based on the PC's levels for a great fight? How could the ship explode destroying the ship and allowing the PC's to escape. What treasures might he have? ![]()

![]() I was listening to a Pathfinder Chronicles podcast last night. One of the contributors mentioned that old school players from AD&D 1E, have recently started coming to PFS. And what they've brought to the table is old school tricks. The example was a player who cast light on a coin and tossed it into a dark room. I think it's friggin' genius. Do you know any old school tricks? ![]()
![]() I'm would like to muti-class my lvl 3 Alchemist but not sure which to choose. I really see the value of is just staying straight alchemist. Rouge would be a logical choice, except that sneak attack doesn't stack with bombs and I'm focusing on ranged attacks (thrown disposables & crossbow). Here's my stats: STR 10
Any ideas? |
