Hey Guys, Just need to drop in and let ya know I am going to need to bow out of this one. I will stay with you till we get back to town and RP on down the trail. Been a lot of fun, but haven't been able to get with it on this one for some time now.
Watching his party take apart the crabmen, Logan waits in the wings to give aide the moment it should become necessary.
"Let me look at that, Edward,I have some experience with repairing broken things other than people."
Max holds back awaiting the results of his friends collective assualt.
Lining up another shot,Max squeezes the trigger on the big revolver.
Drawing his mag,Max takes his shot on the nearest beaty.
Max holds back prefering to wait while the huntsmen amongst him due their deed. When the lurks close and begin to do their deed he will be needed.
Preparing himself for the trip, Max inspects his armsand armorsetting up his pack to access his medical supplies quickly should the need arise. Placing his .44 in its leg holster and slinging his shotgun from its three attachment, Logan takes up his pack and heads out with Edward after the knight as suited up in his power armor. "Ready to see what this business is all about, Brother-Knight? Iam stillunsure about these ones we have thrown our lot in with, Edward. You know as well as I do the Brotherhood does not easily welcome the newcomer. We should be wary lest we find ourselves under the eye of the high council."
Nodding and pushing back from his chair, Max says, "Suppose it is my job." He then follows Edward out the door.
"Speaking of,"Max says as he plunks a bundle of metal spikes of teh table,"Adam thought you might be needing these. Said he can make you some more if you brong him the metal to do it with."
Max walks through the door, giving a wave to the man behind the bar as he does so, and takes a seat with the others. "How are things? Are finding Orleans to your liking so far?"
After giving Adam his exam, Max chats with Andy for a bit about his medical protocols before bidding both a good evening and heading out for some dinner. Being able to sanatize food has made Max one of the more popular scribes in the order. Being generous, Max is never one to avoid stopping past a local restaurant to ensure the quality of the food being served is up to snuff. Plus, free food never hurts either.
Pleased with the rate of healing Adam's shoulder is moving at, Max smiles takingthe spikes and saying,"I am sure he will! Anything that punches holes in something else always makes young Edward smile, hahaha."
Meandering into Adam's shop,Max greets the man with a smile. "How's that shoulder doing? Thought I would come past and give it a check. gotta make sure it doesn't get infected. Your body isn't used to the world yet."
Following Edward to the Medbay to check in, Max says, "This new armor is really somethin' else, Clovis. You really out did yourself. Between the programs you uploaded and the Stim generator, I barely need to use the old bandage and turnoquet routine these days. I am really lookng forward to what ever it is you can glean from what we brought back from Vault 33." With that, Logan leaves his medic armor on its rack for program updates and refreshing. Time to relax a bit in the library after our de-briefing is through. Gotta keep sharp.
Max moves to Edward's side flashing being sure to make his medical officer's heraldry is in plain sight. "We have much information forthe scribes and need access to the city with all do haste, brothers."
Moving quickly to Andy's side, Max begins doing what has been trained to to do. Seeing that Scab is living up his name, Max chuckles saying, "Sure you haven't been spending time in the medical library?"
Max offers to stay on the night watches being that he can provide extra aid as needed. Predators always seem to love the dark and being able to fix their damage always helps.
Max nods his approval after scanning the food any contaminates.
Max chuckles at Marcel's joke as he follows along with the group. Being a member of the Brotherhood, and in possession of skills which allow for the purification of food, Max is not as excited about the coming meal as his new travelling companions, yet it is is welcome none the less.
If none of the others take the meds, Max gathers them up in his supply pouch knowing that they will be needed at some point.
Looking about the medical bay, Max is quite pleased to find the supply stach. Gathering the manual and doctor's bag he says,"Divided the medicines amongst yourselves. I have resources to heal you, but being able to care for yourself is just as important."
"The scribes will be very happy with these documents, Brother Edward. I suggest we collect what we need and move out.",Max says as he secures a PipBoy.
"Where is your security console?",Max immediately demands upon hearing Marcel's voice grow concerned. Calling up another bio-rhythm program, Max begins scanning everything in the area for life.
"Roger that.", Max responds.
Speaking into his comm-unit so only Monroe can here, Max says, "What do you think of this situation, Ed? Far from the strangest situation we have been in, but I'm not a fan either. I going to take some samples and photos for the Scribes. I am sure they will be needing them." While awaiting Edward's response the doc busys himself with collecting samples from the ghouls and photographing the area.
Logan reloads his revolver while the others engage the cowering thing in the corner keeping watch as they seek information.
Max takes another breath and fires on the distracted monster shambling toward his companion.
Seeing the the ghoul's chest blow out at the end of his revolver, Max sights in on the next. Beading down on the next in line,he lets rip again.
"These things are all over me, Monroe. I could really use some help here.", Max says coolly into his comm-unit.
Sighting in on the nearest ghoul, Max squeezes the trigger on his massive revolver.
So with combat helmet and armor how should my DR/AC look? I am just a little confused as to how we ended up on that front.
"Move to cover and setup overlapping lanes of fire!",the medic yells as he prepares to blow a massive hole in the lead attacker.
"Once we are inside, we need to secure this portal again. If we know this open, then other things will also. We don't need any surprise visitors.", Logan says as he maintains his vigil at the rear of the formation.
"Easy there, scaly. We still do not know if anyone is inside. At the very least we must getout of here."
Snagging a Shotgun and shells, Logan says, "My readouts are indicating a trace amount of radiation in a couple of water bottles. The rest of this stuff seems to be uneffected."
Leary of what lurks in the Vault and of these new members of their expedition, Logan continues to monitor the bio and Rad-readings in his HUD.
Logan nods and transmits back to Monroe,"Roger."
"Poor bastards never had a chance.",Logan says as he passes by the remains.
"Monroe, we got bad news. Looks like the radroaches may have had their way with the folks inside. Vault may be more of a tomb. I have no doubt you'll be able to deal with a few critters, haha.", Logan says. Drawing the large revolver from its place on his thigh,the medic prepares his scanners for detecting life of any one they find inside."Brother Edward, you taking point? I'll take up the rear with Mister...Marcel, right? Yes, Marcel."
I also need to add armor and weapons to my profile today after work.

Holstering his .44, Max keeps a close eye on the unfortunate looking creature his companion has just greeted. "Anything we can help you, fellas with or are you just passing through?"
"A wary is part of keeping you alive, Monroe. Hope these people are able to come out." Easing his weapon into place, Logan ensures a round is chambered. "No use taking chances in the Waste." "Think we will find anything of use here? |
