Hi all - can you please cancel all subscriptions for me as of as early as possible. Cheers.

Hi all – I am currently running two groups through the Dead Suns adventure path for Starfinder, and one of the groups has unfortunately had two players go MIA for over a month now with no responses from them either in game or via PM. As such I am looking to find 1-2 players to step in to continue the story of the first installment (gameplay thread can be found here). As the game is currently finishing part 1, new characters being submitted should be connected to the Starfinder Society in some manner.

The remaining group currently consists of a kasatha mystic (healer connection), human soldier (bombardier fighting style), and a shirren technomancer – but don’t let that stop you from creating/submitting the character that you want to play.

Characters are to be created at 1st level as per the standard character creation steps presented in the core rulebook in chapter 2. Ability scores to be generated using the 10-point buy method on pg. 18. As I do not have any of the 3PP material, this will be using Paizo material only.

Races: Core and legacy races only.
Themes: Use of themes is encouraged, but the Themeless option is also available to use.
Archetypes: Archetypes from both the Core Rulebook and the Pact Worlds book are available once you reach the requisite levels – if you are intending to take an archetype, please mention so in your submission
Feats and Spells: Core Rulebook and Pact Worlds material is available. The Summon Monster spell from Alien Archive is also available for use.
Alignment: No evil alignment (or evil masquerading as neutral).

Please note that we are using Roll20 as a platform for the combat maps, so access to this will be required.

I will leave recruitment open for a week and make a decision shortly after that in order to get the character(s) integrated into the game
as quickly as possible.

Discussion thread for group A.

Initial cast members:
Cree Absalom, Ysoki Mechanic
Darshe, Human Soldier
Herald Navus, Lashunta Solarian
Krevlor, Kasatha Mystic
Valorous K'thars, Shirren Technomancer

Please feel free to make any last minute adjustments to your characters :)

Hi all – I’m looking to put together a group of about 4-5 players to run through the first instalment of Starfinder’s Dead Suns Adventure Path, Incident at Absalom Station (the campaign could continue through the remaining instalments, depending on interest and availability).

A bit about myself: I am a long time face-to-face GM, having started running games soon after D&D 3.5 was released. With the release of Starfinder I have returned to the forums and interested in getting back into PbP, and currently I am running my face-to-face group through the Starfinder AP.

Characters will start at 1st level are to be created as per the standard character creation steps presented in the core rulebook in chapter 2. Ability scores to be generated using the 10-point buy method on pg. 18. As per the basic premise, the PCs are looking to become Starfinders for their own varied and sundry reasons, and should be created with this in mind (please note however I am not intending this to be run with SFS credit in mind).

Races: Core Rulebook only. Core races are preferred, but the legacy races (dwarf, elf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, halfling) will also be allowed.
Classes and archetypes: Core rulebook only. Both archetypes presented on pages 128 & 129 will be available to be chosen at 2nd level.
Themes: Use of themes is encouraged, but the Themeless option is also available to use.
Alignment: No evil alignment (or evil masquerading as neutral).

Please include a background for your character, including why they are looking to join the Starfinder Society. The background doesn’t have to be extensive - 1-3 paragraphs will be more than sufficient. These are level 1 characters after all, and their tale is for the telling.

I will leave the recruitment up until at least midnight of Thursday October 12 (I am based in Perth, Australia, so this will be roughly 3pm Friday for me).

Cheers for reading this far, and I look forward to seeing what people create!

Hi all,

I've just had the confirmation email for Order 4512413 and it says that the order total was 194.55, but should only have been 168.51 for the items plus shipping.

Can you please confirm how much I've have been charged over the total and whether this has gone through to my credit card?

Cheers!

Hi all - just had a couple of questions regarding the Starfinder superscriber:

1) does the paizo advantage discount apply to the Starfinder products, and if so would it kick in as of the first subscription order in August?

2) does the Starfinder Society subscription appear as a separate subscription, or will the pdfs just appear in our downloads section on shipping day?

Apologies if you have already answered these ad nauseum, but I can't find if they've been asked/answered in different threads.

Cheers!

Hi team, can you please cancel the above order for me? Cheers

Hi all,

Due to a change in financial needs, I find myself in the not-fun position of having to cancel my subscriptions for the time being. Can you please cancel all subscriptions for me?

Hi team, as per the subject line could you please cancel my Player Companion subscription??

Many thanks!

Hi folks - would you please cancel the Pathfinder Campaign Setting sub for me for this month?

Many thanks!

Hi team - I was wondering if it would be possible to cancel my Modules sub for this month? Working under budget and it's the one piece not quite fitting in this month.

Cheers!

Hi team, hope your holidays were good. Was just checking to see if there were any issues with this order or if all was on track with it at this point?

Also, because I have ordered a copy of both the Limited Edition and the Standard Edition of the Curse of the Crimson Throne hardcovers, does that mean I'll end up with two pdf copies of the book for being an AP subscriber, or just one? If I will end up with two, is it possible to gift one to a friend at all?

Cheers!

Hi team - was hoping you could please remove the two items from Order 4033824 from my sidecart (Hell's Vengeance Pawn Set, and Curse of the Crimson Throne Pawn Set)?

Hi team - I recently restarted my Adventure Card Game subscription (in order 4059754), opting to start with the Character Add-on Deck. When I checked the status of my subscription order to see what has been moved to November, I noticed that the Mummy's Mask Base Set has been added as well which has dramatically added to the delivery cost of the order due to its weight.

Do I have to start with the Mummy's Mask Base Set, or can I please have the Mummy's Mask Base Set removed and start the subscription with just the Character Add-on Deck? Are the promo cards (if there are any at all this time around) associated with the Base Set or the Character Add-on Deck?

Cheers!

Hi folks, could you please cancel my Campaign Setting sub for me for the month.

Cheers!

Welcome to the game, everyone – please forgive the wall of text that will kick us off.

As the sun breaks over the hills to the east, the town of Sandpoint is already bustling with activity. Merchants scurry to display their wares on wagons and stalls, and workers brush the streets and avenues clear of debris. The town is decorated in a riot of colour, with brightly hued pennons, banners, ribbons, and streamers hang from stalls, pillars, and lengths of rope and twine hung from one side of the street to the other. The crisp morning air is filled with the delicious smells of baked goods and fried foods, strong enough almost to drown out the salty tang from the sea breeze that winds through the town. As people go about their busy morning work the excitement is palpable, and the word on everybody’s lips is this – the Swallowtail Festival is finally here!

Life has filled the entire town, and nowhere is this more true than in the open area outside of the largest and most impressive building – the new Sandpoint Cathedral. Built on the foundations of its predecessor, the grand stone building towers over the many buildings around it, with large openings filled with colourful stained glass murals depicting the six patron deities of Sandpoint. Brightly coloured pennons drape down the stonework and off of the few sets of scaffolding still dotted around the cathedral.

By the time the second bell after dawn has run, a crowd of people have begun to gather in the square out the front of the Cathedral, in front of a long stage set about ten feet from the steps. Many of them are normal citizens or travellers from far places such as Magnimar who have come to attend the festivities in Sandpoint, and the murmurs of the crowd fill the air.

Perception, DC 12:
A common subject from locals who are gathering in the square is about the coloured glass mural depicting Shelyn as she stares serenely out towards the Old Light, and how much the goddess bears a striking resemblance to a woman by the name of Nualia. When you go to question the locals, they point out that the depiction of the goddess of beauty has white hair like diamonds, rather than the rich brown she is normally drawn with. They also tell that Nualia was a preternaturally beautiful young woman who perished tragically in the cathedral fire, along the former high priest, Father Tobyn, and others in the old cathedrals adjoining buildings and homes.

As the peals of the town bell toll for a third time, the crowd gathered in front of the cathedral is sizeable indeed, and three dignitaries – a middle-aged woman with shortly cropped brown hair, a broad shouldered Shoanti man in a crisp dress uniform, and an older man with balding black hair and dressed in a rich blue cassock and half-cloak – sit on chairs set on the stage, chatting amicably with one another. A fourth seat on the stage sits unclaimed by anyone. The woman stands and moves towards a lectern set in the centre of the stage, she raises her hands, a large smile set firmly across her face, and slowly the murmurs of the crowd dies.

”Welcome, friends, to Sandpoint for this year’s Swallowtail Festival. For those who are visiting our fine town, I am Mayor Kendra Deverin, and it is such a honour to stand before you all today and see so many faces out there. Why, I can even see Larz Rovanky out there, having finally decided to set down his tools and join us on this fine day!” The locals in the crowd titter and chuckle amongst themselves, giving one another a series of knowing looks as they turn their heads to find a weathered man of middle age with a scowl on his face at being the subject of a light-hearted jibe at his expense. ”In all seriousness, however,” Mayor Deverin continues once the laughter dies down and attention returns to her. ”I really do feel privileged to stand before you to open the festivities of this year’s Swallowtail Festival. It promises to be a wonderful event, and there are things going on all over the town so please do participate in the games on offer and sample the wares of our famous cooks and stalls. Now, I’d like to invite Sheriff Hemlock to the podium to speak a few words,” she says, giving a light applause and stepping away from the lectern to allow the sheriff to approach.

The clean shaven Shoanti man approaches the lectern cautiously, and it is painfully clear that Sheriff Hemlock does not have nearly the charisma that the mayor exuded. He coughs a number of times and loosens the stiff collar of his uniform before beginning to speak. ”Thank you, Mayor, and thank you all for coming to Sandpoint. Please be careful, as there are many more of you here than we had expected, and the town’s guard would like to keep accidents down to a minimum. If you spot anything out of the ordinary please notify one of the guards, and please do not stray near the bonfire this evening as you may be injured. Thank you.” Sheriff Hemlock nods as he all but finishes his speech in a single breath, and takes a quick, awkward step back from the lecturn as if it were about to sprout teeth and bite at him.

Mayor Deverin steps back to the podium and smiles, thanking the good sheriff for his words of warning before giving a much more pleasant spin to them, something that seems to lift the spirits of the crowd. ”Our next speaker was to be Mister Lonjiku Kaijutsu, the patriarch of one of our most noble of families here in Sandpoint, but I fear he has had a messenger inform me today that he is feeling an early winter fever today and sends his sincerest regrets that he cannot be here to enjoy the festival with us. So instead, I would like to ask our most renowned playwright, Cyrdak Drokkus to the stage.”

Knowledge (local), DC 15:
It is not unusual for Lonjiku to be absent from the opening of the festival, as the cantankerous old goat has no love of frivolity and is well known in town for his stodgy adherence to tradition.

As the crowd begins to applaud and cheer, a handsome Varisian man with wild brown hair weaves through the crowd effortlessly and makes his way onto the stage, eliciting a flutter of gasps and giggling from several young ladies throughout the crowd. Resplendent in red and gold finery that is gaudy enough that only an actor could hope to get away with it, Cyrdak makes his way to the lectern and begins an impromptu speech touching on the dreadful night of the fire and the efforts made by the valiant merchant families of Sandpoint and various other contributors and artisans who all rallied behind Mayor Deverin’s vision to rebuild the cathedral so that it may serve as a tribute to those who perished as well as a testament to the resilience and tenacity of the people of Sandpoint. By the end of the tale, the crowd has been whipped up into a frenzy of excited jubilation and even Sheriff Hemlock has managed to crack his previously dour demeanour with a smile and a light bout of applause.

”And if I may indulge your attentions for a moment longer,” he says, an expression of pride set into his features. ”I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to experience more of the culture that Sandpoint has to offer and come to the Sandpoint Theatre this evening for the debut of my newest production, ‘The Harpy’s Curse’, with the lead role of harpy queen Avisera being played by none other than Allishanda, all the way from Mangimar!” Cyrdak clasps his hands together in a moment of joy as the crowd erupts in applause once again before stepping away from the lectern finally and taking a deep bow before sitting himself down in the spare seat on the stage.

As the crowd’s excitement begins to subside once more, the third dignitary, dressed in a priestly blue cassock and with his silver symbol of Desna gleaming in the morning sunlight, stands and makes his way to the lectern. ”On behalf of my fellow brothers and sisters in the Cathedral, I would like to welcome you all to the Swallowtail Festival, a time to give thanks to the Song of the Spheres and offer up our joyous songs and words as tribute to her. Please return here at noon for the Releasing ceremony, and until then I declare this Swallowtail Festival open!” The priest spreads his arms wide, palms raised to the heavens as the crowd gives one final round of applause before beginning to disperse, and the murmur of conversations begins to swell once more, leaving you all free to go where you wish to.

Feel free to describe what your character wishes to do, how they react to the various speeches, any NPCs they wish to interact with, or where they go once all is said and done. There are markets, food stalls, archery contests, sideshow games, 'dragon' races, buskers and street theatre stages. This is a bit of an opportunity to roleplay and get to know the town and possibly each other just a little.

Heya folks - feel free to dot yourselves, chat among yourselves, etc. I have a day off work today, so I'll be working towards translating all your characters into HeroLab (mostly for my own convenience) so that I can check the last bits of math and make sure nothing has been missed.

Hopefully you all enjoy the game - if you have any feedback for me at any stage, I am very open to hearing it and finding a way to incorporate it if it is something that could work for us as a group. I will post up a copy/paste from one of the GM handbook guide things for PBP which I will modify/incorporate as time goes on.

Cheers!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For five years, the faithful of Sandpoint have attended church in temporary structures erected after fire destroyed the previous temple, and while their new religious leader was helpful, kind, and wise, church wasn’t the same. Now, the new cathedral is finally done. All that remains is for the Swallowtail Festival to renew the site’s blessings from the gods and it will be as if the Sandpoint Fire had never occurred.

Hi everyone – I am looking to put together a group of 4-5 players to run through the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition. Whether you’re new to PbP or a veteran, players both new and experienced are welcome!

A bit about myself: I am a long time face-to-face GM, having started running games soon after D&D 3.5 was released, I’m reasonably familiar with Pathfinder and D&D in both 3.5 and 4th edition, and am currently dabbling in 5th edition D&D as well. I have done PbP GMing in the past on a different forum and have recently started getting back into it on here as a player, which in turn has caused the GM bug to bite.

About the game: As stated above, I am looking to run a group of 4-5 PCs through the Rise of the Runelords. One spot has been reserved already for an Oracle, so I will be recruiting an additional 3-4 PCs depending on the other character submissions. I am more interested in making up an interesting group of PCs than a balanced group, and like with my real life groups I will urge people to create a character they want to play rather than one to fill a particular niche.

I am committed to running through each of the 6 chapters, and will check in with the players at the end of each in order to gauge interest in continuing, recruiting as necessary. As some players may be checking these forums from places of work, school, or other public places, the tone of the game will be expected to be kept as SFW as possible.

Character Creation Guidelines:
  • Character level: 1st
  • Ability generation: 20-point buy, no ability lower than an 8 after racial modifiers.
  • Races: Core races are preferred but the following featured races are available also – aasimar, ifrit, oread, ratfolk, sylph, tengu, tiefling, and undine. Given that the lands of Varisia attract people of many different races, it is not outside the realms of possibility to see members of these races adventuring through the lands, having landed in one of the various ports around and made their way to Sandpoint. Variant heritages for tieflings require no feat, but the variant abilities for tieflings and aasimars are disallowed. Alternate racial traits from Paizo sources are ok (ARG, Players Companion sources, etc).
  • Classes: Any from the Core Rulebook, ACG, APG, and UM – if choosing Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, or Summoner, the Unchained version will be used. From UC, the Gunslinger is allowed but limited to the Bolt Ace archetype, as firearms will not be present, and Ninja and Samurai are disallowed. I will not be using material from either Ultimate Intrigue or Occult Adventures at this stage. Favoured class bonuses limited to +1 hp or +1 skill point.
  • Archetypes: If using an archetype, having only 1 archetype is preferred.
  • HP: Maximum for your class at first level, then either the choice of taking half hit-dice + 1 or GM rolls for you for levels beyond the first. At each level you may choose a different option, but once you have chosen you must live with the consequences of that.
  • Alignment: Any non-evil. The campaign works best if you have an interest in working to defend Sandpoint, but choice in alignment is up to you.
  • Skills: I will be using the Background Skills optional system from Unchained, found here
  • Traits: Characters will have a total of two traits, one of which is to be a campaign trait chosen from the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition Player’s Guide. Drawbacks cannot be used to gain a third trait.
  • Starting Wealth: This will be the average for your class, and no feat or trait can be used to increase this.
  • Background: A 1-3 paragraph background will be more than sufficient – these are level 1 characters after all. Their tale is for the telling.
  • Writing Sample: To help me get a bit of an idea of your roleplaying and writing styles, I would like for you to write an example post detailing how it is that your character came to be in Sandpoint, why they are there, and talking about something interesting that happened on his/her way to the town.

I’ll be looking for people who can post at least once a day during weekdays and as time permits on weekends. I am an Australian, so my posting times can vary somewhat, depending on when I am checking the boards, but I will be posting at least once a day under normal circumstances.

In order to apply for the game I will not require you to have a fully completed alias ready to go, especially if there are more than 5 characters having applied by the end of the period. If you are chosen, I will expect you to then have your character’s alias profile ready in a timely manner. Applications will close at midnight of Tuesday May 3rd, and I will notify the successful players by way of private message before posting in here.

Cheers for reading this post up to now - I look forward to seeing what people create!

Hi guys - just got my Azuth for this month and the following item has been duplicated on my order:

Pathfinder Legends—Mummy's Mask #5: The Slave Trenches of Hakotep CD Set
Paizo Inc.
Component of CD Set/Download Bundle
Will be in your downloads once shipped
21.99 17.59 17.59
S Pathfinder Legends—Mummy's Mask #5: The Slave Trenches of Hakotep CD Set
Paizo Inc.
Will be in your downloads once shipped

This has resulted in being charged over my store credit amount my more than I was expecting. Can this please be looked into and rectified as soon as possible before my card is charged for the items.

Many thanks.

Hi guys - was hoping someone there could please cancel my subscriptions for both the Adventure Card Game and the Class Decks for the time being?

Many thanks!

Hi guys - was just checking to see if there was anything holding up the above order. I know that the shipping deadline is still a few days away, but I just wanted to know if anything from the sidecart was holding things up or not.

Cheers!

Hi guys - could you do me a favour and cancel my PF Modules subscriptions for the time being please? Cheers!

Hi guys - just got my email auth for my subscriptions, and it's advised me that I am to be charged for the shipping/handling of the order, rather than it being taken out of my store credit.

Subtotal items) $81.75
Shipping & Handling $50.77
Order Total $132.52
Store Credit to Apply $81.75
Payments
Today $50.77 Payment authorization
Expires Thu, Aug 20, 2015

I had $138.71 in store credit, which should have covered my order completely.

Can you please confirm if this was done in error, or have the policies changed to no longer cover shipping/handling costs with store credit? If done in error, can you halt the payment being taken from my card, or is it too late for this?

Ok, so my group encountered this one last night, and it left us a little stumped and we would like to know if it was played correctly.

Card:

Spoiler:
Each character at an open location summons and encounters the henchman Cultist of Baphomet. Each character that does not evade or defeat the henchman banishes an ally. To defeat this barrier, all of the summoned henchmen must be defeated.

After you act, banish this barrier.

Situation: Alain, Adowyn, and Seoni are in open locations when Alain encounters the card. Seoni fails to defeat her cultist (no ally in hand to banish), then Adowyn defeats her cultist, and then Alain defeats his cultist.

We didn't defeat the barrier as Seoni failed her check against the summoned henchman, meaning the card should have been shuffled back into the location deck that it came from, but we banished it anyway due to the next part of the card (after Alain acted, as he was the one to encounter the barrier).

I couldn't find any errata to clarify what we should have done here, so what should have been done in this case?

Hi guys - was wondering if there were any issues with the above order, or if it is just taking its time in the queue before being sent out :)

Cheers!

Hey guys - I think my Subs order is missing a couple of preorders that I had made in the last couple of weeks:

Mummy's Mask Adventure Path Pawn Collection (Order 3300548, made Sept 26)
and Map Pack: Starship Corridors (Order 3304596, made Oct 1)

If someone could please give the items a prod to get them into this ship out, that would be fantastic :) Otherwise let me know what needs to happen so I can plan finances accordingly.

Cheers!

Hi guys, can you please cancel the PF Tales subscription for me? I promise this is the last cancellation for a while :)

Hi guys - was hoping you could help explain the process over how you deal with store credit and a subscription.

Say for example I have $100USD in store credit but my subscription one month will put me over that at $110USD. Would the auth spawn process attempt to authorize the whole amount from my card ($110), or just the amount remaining once it eats through the store credit ($10)?

Hey guys - there was a declined payment method on the above order. I've made a few changes and put a different card onto it (ending in 5667), so hopefully that should fix the problem. Would you guys mind giving the order a slight prod (if it doesn't do it automatically)? Cheers!

Hi guys - sorry to have separate threads, but could you please also cancel my subscriptions for the Pathfinder Maps and Pathfinder Pawns for me please.

If any of these are in a currently pending order (I believe the August Maps product is currently pending at the moment), I am happy to keep it in that order as something already ordered, but could you please ensure that these are both cancelled for the September subscriber auth onwards.

Many thanks.

Hi guys, was hoping it would be possible to cancel Order 3209048 (2x PACG class decks) before they ship? The order is still currently Pending.

Many thanks.

Hey guys - was hoping you could remove the Pathfinder Pawns: Wrath of the Righteous Adventure Path Pawn Collection from my subscription order, as I no longer need that one. Was sure that I put in to start the Pawns subscription with the B4Box, but now I'm not so certain.

Many thanks!

Hi guys - was hoping I could have the Reign of Winter Adventure Path Pawn Collection removed from my sidecart before the subscriptions orders are done? I bought these in another order recently without remembering that I'd had them in the sidecart already :(

Could I also make sure that the Pathfinder Flip-Mat: Hill Country is just a display bug for the upcoming order, as I requested that the Maps subscription start on the Cave Chambers Map Pack?

Many thanks!

Hi guys - I just checked over my upcoming preorders for June, and noticed that there are additional products that should not be in it:

Payment method authorized: June 5
Should ship by: June 20

1x Pathfinder Player Companion: Undead Slayer’s Handbook (PFRPG), $11.04
1x Pathfinder Player Companion: Alchemy Manual (PFRPG), $11.04
1x Pathfinder Player Companion: The Harrow Handbook (PFRPG), $11.04
1x Pathfinder Adventure Path #82: Secrets of the Sphinx (Mummy’s Mask 4 of 6) (PFRPG), $15.99
1x Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Numeria, Land of Fallen Stars (PFRPG), $16.99
1x Pathfinder Player Companion: Blood of the Elements (PFRPG), $11.04

Could someone please remove the Undead Slayer's Handbook, the Harrow Handbook, and the Alchemy Manual from the order?

Hi guys, was hoping you might be able to move the contents of this order (Emerald Spire Superdungeon) into my sidecart for me.

Cheers!

Was hoping you guys would be able to combine the two orders above into the one order for ease of shipping purposes? Cheers! :)

Apologies if this is going into the wrong forum - please move to appropriate forum if necessary.

I am having issues placing an order whereby when I click "Proceed to Checkout" it asks me to sign in to continue and then returns me to the front page again when I click "Sign In". I have tried to place the order using two different browsers (Firefox and Internet Explorer), and have cleared the cache/history on both browsers upon experiencing the issue and tried again after that. I have also tried emptying the cart completely and trying the order again from scratch.

Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, my pre-order for Inner Sea Gods that was in the side cart was not included in the subscription order. Is it possible to be put in with the order, or will I have to wait until next month to receive it (which I'm fine with, by the by, it's just not what I was expecting based on a response in the 'April New Release Shipping Updates!' thread)?

Hey guys,

Was wondering if I could have the above order moved into the sidecart for me?

Cheers!

Hi - I was wondering if both of these orders could be processed at the same time as my AP subscription? I don't recall having been given the option to add either of them to the sidecart when I was making them.

Cheers for any assistance you can provide.

Hey guys - I can't see the status of my Adventure Path subscription, whether it's pending or not. Normally I've gotten an email to say that it's all good by now, but nothing has come through.

I've followed the instructions to check at the bottom right section of the My Account page to locate the subscription sidecart, and cannot see it there at all.

Could someone please check into this for me and make sure that my subscription is still active and processing at the moment?

Many thanks!

Hi all, a quick question about these items:

Spoiler:
My group has just started the AP last night and, due to a little bit of timidity on their part (due to thinking that the spider's abdomen undulated with dozens of baby spiders) instead of disturbing the black widow corpse with the giant fly larvae in it, they took the NPCs and skirted around the edge of the corpse and fled up one of the chamber tunnels. This means that they didn't receive the Terendelev's Scales for themselves.

So my question is - how important are these items to the overall game? Are they a nice-to-have for a bit of extra tactical diversity, or are they necessary for sometime later on in the AP? If they are necessary, I can seed them back in somewhere along the cavern path they will follow to reach the surface.

I got posed this question by one of the players that I will have for my Wrath of the Righteous game, and I was not overly certain how to answer.

It's easy enough to bring a new PC into a game pre-Mythic, but what is the best way to handle the creation of a new PC (either due to a previous PC kicking the pail or a new player at the table) once the current PCs have become imbued with the vestiges of the wardstone's power and become Mythic? If this has happened in your games (or to you, in the case where your character has been the one turned into meat for the grinder), how has your group handled it?

EDIT: Sorry, I am at work, so I will expand very quickly. I suppose it boils down to both the mechanics of it and the story behind bringing a new Mythic-level PC in.

Mechanics-wise, do the new PCs come in at same level and same tier as current PCs, or one level and/or tier lower than the current PCs, or something else?

Story-wise, how have other groups fit in the emergence of a new PC with Mythic abilities? Spontaneous Mythic ascendancy? The former PC was hiding just outside the Gray Garrison when the wardstone was destroyed?

I guess I'm just trying to get a feel for how it might work in the eventuality that this will happen at least once during the game. I'm aware that Mythic PCs are hard to kill, but eventually a couple of lucky shots might actually cut short the Mythic destiny of a PC, and I'd like to have at least some sort of idea on how that would best be handled.

My players and I have decided to put our current campaign on hiatus for a while as a change of pace, and are going to be turning our collective attention to Kingmaker.

For a party of 5 PCs, is it recommended to run the game as is from the books with a little bit of a boost to NPC/enemy numbers or levels, or run the AP with the conversion intended for 6 PCs and give the PCs a little bit of a boost (such as an additional trait or a 20-point ability buy)? I can prettu much guarantee the whole group will be there for the majority of the games, unless a separate commitment comes up.

We're getting together in a week or two's time to go through character creation as a group (using Ultimate Campaign to help people generate some backstory that I will try and weave through the campaign as well). So far people are thinking of classes such as a Bard or Sorcerer, Cavalier, Barbarian, Magus, and Cleric.

Quick question regarding the Undetectable Alignment spell and was wondering how it interacted with a Cleric's Aura.

The example I have in my game is one of the players in my current campaign is a Lawful Neutral cleric of Zon-Kuthon (a Lawful Evil deity). He (and I) wants to know if Undetectable Alignment masks the Aura or just his own alignment, the latter meaning that he would still show up under someone examining him with a Detect Law or Detect Evil spell.

I'm inclined to lean towards the latter (as it is the deities Alignment being pushed through the Cleric, regardless of the Cleric's actual alignment), but I can't find anything that would say definitively which way it would go in this case.

I have a character coming into game who is amassing a number of various weapons of all different types, and has the quick draw feat. I am yet to ask him about it, as I've only just gotten his character sheet and going over it now.

Is there any rules, or alternatively any advice, when handling this type of "weapon set" and the potential for trying to cycle through them until the weapons are the most effective against the enemy he is going against?
