"Uh, yeah. That can't be good" Marrant will attempt to grapple Jax asking the rest of the group, "Lend me a hand here!"
Marrant doesn't have the Improved Grapple feat so this will provoke an AoO (if an entranced character can take one) He'll add, "Whatever you do, hold your breath!" after which he'll follow his own advice. If successful, next round he'll attempt to move away from the plant with Jax at 1/2 his movement rate

I'm at a disadvantage having never played Nintendo, anyone have any insights? "I don't know what that thing is, but it's definitely evil. Are we even hurting it?" longbow: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 26 (deadly aim, precise shot)
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
