I'm aware. I'm pinching pennies for an item, so I prefer to use fame to buy it.

You mean Prestige, but my comment was to Salvadore who had incorrectly guessed that you needed 5 fame before being able to buy one.

Grand Lodge

Re: Wayfinder: They’re always available. You can buy one at the always discounted price of 250 go regardless of Fame.

"These ones ran afoul of a minotaur, and Janira tried to best it on her own," Mapache says glumly.

Grand Lodge

Mapache moves around the corner, tumbling past the (magenta) skeleton around the corner of the cave to swing his club at the (orange) skeleton menacing Cabe.

Dice:

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Tonfa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
B: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Grand Lodge

Mapache hisses as the skeletons make themselves apparent. He draws a wooden club from his belt and springs to engage them.

Dice:

Tonfa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
B: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Grand Lodge

Mapache removes his pack and unties the bedroll fastened to it. "This one can give you this to wrap our teacher. This one can carry her into the tunnels and to the shrine of Aroden if more exploring is to be done This one can then carry her home," the vanara says sadly.

Grand Lodge

"Of course! This one can help," Mapache says as he carefully crosses the river. He looks down at Janira with mournful eyes.

You can take a 5-foot step before, during, or after your other actions in the round.

Emphasis mine.

Grand Lodge

Did you register Mapache's attack last round?

Grand Lodge

I do not believe it makes a difference for Janira, but you neglected the -2 to hit from being entangled. Entangled also imposes a -4 penalty to Dexterity (so -2 to AC and Reflex saves).

GM:
I also believe that Janira's lingering performance should be continuing/finishing this round if this is round 2 with the minotaur. I will add that bonus as a post-scrip to my dice rolls.

"Whra! No!" Mapache shrieks as he emerges from the brush to find the halfling cut down. He whips his sling around, sending an iron sphere toward the murderous beast.

Dice:

Sling, FE: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 2 = 16 +1 more for Inspiring Courage = 17
B, cold iron, FE: 1d4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8 +1 more for Inspiring Courage = 9

Grand Lodge

"Wha! This one knew Janira should have come inside!" Mapache exclaims as they come upon the battle. He advances across the field while his tail takes the spike rod from his hand and he unwraps his sling. He then wades through the dense brush.

Grand Lodge

Mapache hurries to the bank of the stream.

Yes, apologies. I did not see a prompt for Mapache to act in the combat post.

Grand Lodge

Mapache waves silently to the gillman before following after Khrezh and Cabe. "As you please," he says pleasantly, "But there is more to exploring than stepping on a spot or walking across a threshold!"

Grand Lodge

"No? If any place to linger and take notes, it seems this place," Mapache says, cocking his head to the side. Despite his words, he pulls a hooked rod from behind his back and makes ready to follow.

Grand Lodge

"Oh! What was this? Did others feel that?" Mapache says with a start once Cabe has inserted the torch in the diorama. "This one will take note of this!"

Grand Lodge

"Other creatures? What sort of creatures?" Mapache asks. "Do giant blind salamanders roam these caves, devouring all things smaller than they?"

Grand Lodge

"This one thinks it would be rude to sneak up on someone in their prayers," Mapache comments to the half-orc.

Grand Lodge

"This place is worth remembering," the vanara says as Yuza explains the carvings that she has found. "These ones should take notes."

He looks around as the others move onward. He scratches his head and then bounds afterwards.

"Ah! This one spies a gillman!" he blurts exuberantly.

Grand Lodge

"Can do!" the vanara agrees to Cabe's request and climbs into the pit. He rolls up the bundle of cloth and tosses it to the far side before climbing back.

Grand Lodge

A startled screech escapes Mapache's lips when the minotaur erupts from the bushes. He looks back and forth between the halfling Pathfinder and the cave. "But this one believes the cave is too small for the minotaur..."

Janira apparently set upon her heroics, the vanara follows the others into the cave, thankful for Salvadore's floating light.

When they arrive at the pit, Mapache skitters across the side of the tunnel to the other side and looks back at the others with an expectant grin.

Climb Speed: Take 10 for 24.

Grand Lodge

GM tip: select a border color for each of the enemies. It makes targeting in a text-based medium more precise.

Also, the map hyperlink in your header leads to the campaign tab rather than the power point maps. :)

Grand Lodge

Witnessing how dangerous the feathered predators are, Mapache unwinds a sling as he moves to gain line of sight with the hippogriff that attacked Yuza. His tail reaches into a pouch and loads the sling with a iron sphere.

The vanara whips the sling over his head and releases.

Sling, IC: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 21
B, IC: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4

Grand Lodge

"This one is happy to meet you, Yuza," the vanara says with a grin as he climbs over the back of a chair and then sits down cross-legged. "Good, good," he says to Janira and them climbs back over the back of the chair as you all prepare to depart.

Mapache hardly stops moving except to eat and then only barely as you travel. He ranges from the front of the march to the back, chatting with whoever is nearest and willing to listen.

"From where do you hail, Yuza?"

"This one has never met a vine who speaks," he says to the leshy. "What do you eat? Do you dislike we who eat plants? This one does not eat meat."

"Very interesting," he comments as he pokes Khrezh's prosthetic with the tip of his tail. "Who performed this modification?"

"May this one read your book of spells," he asks Salvadore.

Once you reach the forest, he spends as much time traversing through the branches above as he does walking on the ground.

Grand Lodge

A wide-eyed vanara with white and gold fur enters the Pig's Paunch. His prehensile tail waves back and forth--the tip just over his shoulder--like a snake waiting to strike. "Is this one late?" he asks as he looks over the adventurers in the middle of inventory. "Mapache is very sorry for his tardiness."

I'm here. Just got off of work and heading to bed.

...and my wife is sending me to take my son to a birthday party in the morning.

Grand Lodge

If you have room, I have a vanara that needs to Confirm. :)
