Hello.
Seems the dwarfs are here to stay.
That means Magna won't.
To the other players: Sorry to bring that mess up to you.
To the DM: Thanks for the game, was fun while it lasted. Please feel free to DMPC Magna, of take her out of the game altogether. I would appreciate if you mark her as "inactive" in the Campaign tab.

Just talking about Magna's point of view.
Maybe we can't claim the gold mine yet, but sure as hell she won't get anyone else to claim it. To let another group claim it is plain idiotic.
And I am not talking about Good-Evil or Law-Chaos here, but Friendly-Hostile.
If the dwarves are not friendly to the group (specially Magna), and are even hostile to them, then they are a THREAT to be removed. As soon as possible.
The moment they say "Not talking anymore" and turning their backs to Magna, they are considered hostile, and are the new "Stag Lord bandits" to be removed from the land.
So Magna's action is unchanged. She will non-lethally take them out, tie them up, and banish them from the Stolen Lands. Or die trying.
The next group of dwarves, or humans, or kobolds, that appear might as well learn to be more diplomatic or they will face the same fate.
Now... if the dwarves are a "feature" we are unable to remove, well, that was Magna's fault, and I ask, as a personal favor, to roll back Magna's calling them, and their arrival. And Magna will go out after her talk with Edric and Talia, and never come back. Have a nice game.
Just don't ask me to "accept" Magna will allow some HOSTILE group take over the gold mine without her try to do something about it.

I just want to point out Magna is not an idiot, not a fool. She would invite dwarves that would be allies with her, not any dwarves.
And, being a Paladin of Torag doesn't mean she won't attack dwarves that threaten Talia, her friends or the new kingdom. No reason why left some "renegade" dwarves reclaim an area, if she can prevent it.
They want to mine the gold, they need to swear allegiance. If they don't, they are no better than any other brigand. She didn't invite them to steal the mine from them. That is silly.

Dear DM:
Not amused with the dwarves reaction. My take was to try to make some sense into them, and if unable, punch them to a pulp, tie them up, and make the guards send them packing home.
I was thinking in lines like:
"I didn't decapitate the Stag Lord to suffer idiots like you."
What she would accept instead of knocking them out is to make them swear fealty to Talia and the new kingdom, make them all conscripts in the new army (with her as general) and remind them "Oathbreakers die", another of the Six Rivers Freedoms.
She won't allow a group of rogues take the gold mine, even if they are dwarves. You have what you hold. She has the mine, and she won't relinquish it without a fight.
So, my point is, Magna isn't going to let them go away without them swearing fealty to Talia, or stopping them by force if necessary. You are with her or against her, and them being dwarves is no excuse.
So we will need to compromise here... do we roll initiative, or the dwarves take it down a notch?
Note: I would expect Magna called for Dwarves friendly with her, not some sycophants. You send me sycophants, she will kill sycophants.

Sobbing, Magna answers.

"You don't want him? You think I should tell him? But... we are supposed to be chased. Not to go chasing after them. I feel so hurt, sick, here, in my chest. I... You are my best friend, you know?"

I have thought in Magna asking Edric for her for her coup, and having him put some sense into her.
The idea of them having a heart-to-heart while fighting in front of the Throne sounds epic too.
Yes, she has to mature, and yes, the "end game" is for her to become the general, working in tandem with the other PC's.
Who has a good Sense Motive that can see her internal turmoil, and organize an intervention for her?
Maybe Talia herself... ummmm...

They know how many rooms are going to be in the house, what kind of roof they're going to have, where the wires are going to run, what kind of plumbing there's going to be. They have the whole thing designed and blueprinted out before they even nail the first board up. The gardeners dig a hole, drop in a seed and water it. They kind of know what seed it is, they know if planted a fantasy seed or mystery seed or whatever. But as the plant comes up and they water it, they don't know how many branches it's going to have, they find out as it grows. And I'm much more a gardener than an architect.”

I have to say, in this case, I am a gardener. I am enjoying the game very much, and letting Magna "grow" organically, instead of making her do whatever I want or think.

But I fear she is sliding into the Lawful-Stupid kind of Paladin.
No, I don't plan to let her "get rid" of other characters, I only need a way to prevent it.
Why Vosil? Easy: He is a Szarni infiltrating the group, ready to create all kinds of havoc in the new lands.
Why Talia? Jealousy. She thought herself "annointed" by Torag to lead, to rule, and she finds herself a "second string" to the beautiful and charming human noble. Which she likes. A lot.
So... what do we do?
- Let her have a "catharsis" of sorts, trying to betray the group and realizing she is not able?
- Falling for Edric and letting him pull her from the Lawful-Stupid path? (Does he likes her woman short and stocky?)
- Giving her some external enemy to fight so she stops looking for trouble internally.
More ideas welcome.

Magna hammers in the forge. Her sweat falls on her eyes, and she don't know if it's only sweat or there are tears intermixed with them.
She finally destroyed the bandits. During many days and nights she craved for that task. She dreamed for the opportunity of finding that den of evil and destroy it.
She triumphed in a bigger way she had dared to imagined, Torag be praised. She had faced them, look at them in the face, accepted their strikes and bruises and persevered, letting them forge her into something new, something pure, something better, killing the leaders, including the Stag Lord.
But her work is not over. The Greenbelt has to be shaped... forged... turned into something worthy, something valuable. Something perfect. As with the horseshoe she is forging, it needs to be rid of imperfections, contamination particles, leaving only pure and strong iron. If not, if the steel is not pure, it is weak, worthless, doomed to be broken, to fail.
She needs to get rid of any contamination. Get rid of any imperfection. Guarantee that this new lands are pure and strong. Perfect.
She needs to get rid of Vosil.
She needs to get rid of Talia.
Torag demands it.
Water keeps falling from her eyes. And not all of it is sweat.

Magna do not find Perlivash joke funny, but refrains from follow the theme with the fey dragon.
"She is powerful then? How is she named? How does she look?"
Edit: I see they won't get anymore from the tiny dragon, so we can move on.

Magna flinch a little when the tiny creature calls her Magna.
"Magnitofera is my name, Perlivash, if you don't mind."
Everybody (even me) calls her Magna, but she is not fond of the "moniker". You know, she is a proper dwarf. ;)
"Perlivash, you and Tyg-Titter-Tut must be careful who you play with. Besides that, are there any news of the lands? Have you seen more bandits?"

"Hi Perlivash. Stand down Nat, I know this small creature. Perlivash, what to go say hello to the others? Maybe we can get you a sweet there."
She will try to coax the small faerie dragon back to the others.
