On the second day after awakening from your 7 day nap, Koldur tracks down the ranger as he returns from the marshy forest. He merrily greets, "Greetings Councilman Koldur, for what do I be blessed by your prescence?"

As the blinding is lifted you noticed some changes but until you all state your wishes for the ranger his hair turns from graying and white to black and slightly greying. Then he sincerely states, "As you wish, blessings upon you. My bow is yours, should you need a hand just let me know. I will be seeing how my skills can help the council."

Logan slept reasonably well, concerning what was on his mind. Neither Dante nor Luca even responded to his inquiry to having a companion at their side. 'Perhaps we are not as close as I thought.' He had thought to himself at the time.

He slept near Tyrus and when the alarm was rung, he awoke to confusion. His body reacted normally to loud movements, collecting his weapon then starting to put on armor, he then realized where he was and quietly blurted, "Ah yes, prisoner, and now fighting for my freedom and life..."

With the offer from Tyrus he forgoes his armor and goes with the wizard/healer. With his few weapons strapped to him he comes to the wall enlarged, with javelin in one hand and his greatsword in the other.

He stays off the tower or wall, not sure if they will hold his new weight. He then smiles at the wizard and says, "Thanks this is a new experience but I like it."

Readied action to throw javelin at the first creature that comes out in the open to him. Likely a bugbear since they are larger and easier to see.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Much fun and time with family, back to the grind and hopefully I will have time for my games!

Question, is Logan still awake? Did Dante answer Logan earlier?

If he was sleeping, once he wakes up he is donning his armor which will take at least 10 rounds hastily, or 40 rounds normally.

On the new map do we have the ruins on the map or off map? Are there any other structures in the site?

Likely Tyrus will see Logan struggling with his armor and if he offers mage armor instead he will leave the scalemail. We just need to RP it out. Also I need to know what situation he is currently in.

He asks Dante if he would like company on the walls, if not he would ask Luca if she would like company, if not he would get a few hours of rest and have A pirate tell Tyrus to wake him when he was needed. Sleeping near the wizard if not needed by the others.

With all my gear back, Logan also takes a few minutes to make sure all his weapons are sharpened with his whet stone... +1 damage!!! For first hit. Most are likely still sharpened.

Logan does what he can to cover the pitfalls in the first hour with the pirates then returns to make the main base better defended and more imposing then the fort on the hill. He lightly slams his hand on Dante's shoulder after the majority of the construction is completed, he speaks first to Dante then opens up to all those around him, "Good work Dante, with your direction much was accomplished. Good work lads, soon the goblins will face their doom one way or another. May each of you safely retreat when the time comes."

I accept Dante's plan and concede to Tyrus if he wants the magical healing concoction to heal.

Sorry folks I have been out of it with lots of RL stuff going on, let alone working long hours and trying to get enough sleep. I hope to be around more, like I had posted earlier.

Logan had kept to himself much of the time just helping as he could with construction. Much darkness was swirling around in his mind, but with hard work he was able to not focus on it. Everyone including the pirates knew to give him room. Almost as if one of Luca's creatures had possessed him.

He seems to have a rough time really being productive until the third hour, then he is in the zone and understands what needs to be done through the previous failing.

With the logs all cut he assists in making sure that the construction is sturdy and secure, leaving the trap making to Vincent and Dante.

Finally he scouts out a bit from the hill fort and sees how he could get vegetation to help cover up some of the traps and merely finds a few large ferns that likely will be out of place covering the logs.

"I understand the basics of most constructions, and what to expect in tunnels, perhaps how to bring them down. The less fighting we have to do is likely the better option." He says knowing he would be able to assist in some construction. He feels the handle of his sword and the other weapons that were taken off of him. He then asks the pirate and if needed Norren after if the pirate did not answer to his liking, "What about some armor? I prefer Scalemail armor and have some in the prisoner camp, but there was little time to collect it."

Sorry everyone, I have been rather busy this week and dead tired. I actually got some good sleep on Thursday, I crashed from 4 p.m. to about noon on Friday. Then Halloween showed its ugly head and life sucked me away again. Yes it was a long week. I am just catching up and hope to keep things going smoothly this weekend and the days following. Logan is willing to work with anyone really, but when Tyrus speaks up and wants him near the wizard he nods his head to the older man. In a firm voice he consents, "I go where Tyrus wants me, I won't defy his logic."

Logan at the back with Dante is more focused on his friends and allies than what the others are speaking about. He gives Dante a light clap on the shoulder and cheerfully says, "Good work out there!"

Logan gives Dante a supporting hand and voice, though he never really had a home and was not expecting one where he was originally heading, "You listen to his words and make sure they sink in. I am sure you could have tried to collect people for your colony but instead take prisoners and force them to do your hard work. I will fight to put an end to the goblins for the people's sake not yours Norren and you better be square on that free part."

Logan was covered in blood and ash, but took two buckets of water and quickly refreshed himself, then hydrated himself. He is in surprising good spirits doing good work and the only thing he needed now was a blade. He followed at the back of the prisoners making sure they all followed Norren and for protection in numbers. He makes sure to see Lara and her charge.

As the larger group starts to return to the pirates camp with Norren he asks a question, "Norren give us back our weapons and give us a chance to shave some time off our sentence to take care of this goblin problem for you permanently."

"Well normally I would have my armor on me, though right now as you can see I only have my tunic and breeches. Yes if you could make me larger it would give me reach, and likely make me more effective. Tyrus I am sure we will be able to grow as a team in time." Logan says with some emotion letting his mirth bubble.

"Yes I was hoping we would have retreated at least slowly but that did not happen and no one listened to me. Well we can move forward perhaps with more help from the village or even our own weapons." He says to Dante hoping the pirates will get the thoughts stuck in their heads to bring better weapons for everyone.

Sorry everyone I have been given an extra workload right now and my insomnia has been kicking my butt. So I have been trying to catch up on sleep and can now understand why sometimes you can't get posts up. Please forgive me and I will get caught up soon!

Logan collects the maces but hides one under one of the bugbear bodies. He also goes around looking helpful collecting any of the pirates weapons left unclaim and has them in his arms with his pickaxe. As he goes around and collects them he checks in with some of those he knows.

"Dante how are you doing? Next time if I am not armored a mage armor would be very appreciated, of course we need to be close and I understand you not hearing or being able to get to me... this time." He says with a bit of mirth and even more the last few words with a wink.

He recognizes that she does not want to be the center of attention especially with her magic but he wanted to thank her none the less and whispers to her, "Luca you did great, those beasts were exactly what we needed to help protect us from the goblin horde. Perhaps even to deal with our pirate captors." He makes sure to say the last sentence even quieter and if a pirate is within 20 feet he would not say it. 'Something to remember for next time, as well to have her use one of those stone beasts as a scout the next time they went exploring.'

"Lara how did you fair? Excellent fighting back there. Are you both alright?" He asks concerned for Lara and her charge.

"Tyrus how did we fair as a group, since you are the healer you know better than most." He knows that the wizard healer might need some more encouragement and uses the man's best skill that has been shown recently.

Logan was more interested in the goblins and bugbears than the rest. He began searching for discern able marks, tattoos, symbols or such that would show a tribes marking. He hoped to only find one similar among all the bodies but needed to know. He also would collect any weapons that looked serviceable.

Logan comes out of his rage and clarity of fighting. Though he knows the fight is not over yet. He moves forward one move action and is close enough to swing at one of the bugbears.

He swings with all his might not worry about being defensive at all, seeing the goblins run and this might be his last attack.

Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 3 = 12 with PA

Well I flagged the one that had 1d20 as damage. We know you hit that turn, I thought it was a 25, perhaps a different game. Anyways when I flag a duplicate, I mark the one which is most wrong if that makes sense.

Still keeping his defensive stance. He tries to cleave through two of the goblins. He brings the heavy weapon about and slashes horizontally cutting the goblins at their necks. The goblins likely duck under his attack.

Keeping his defensive stance. He tries to cleave through two of the goblins, first the last of Gob 2 then to the next patch. He puts as much strength as he can behind his horizontal attack. Though his hurt leg makes him stumble and the pick hits the ground opening him up to the goblins around him. Then he takes a five foot step over to (O,12).

Unhappy about the whole situation he knows he is safer from the bows when in combat and will continue to fight near Lara. I have to focus on the target at hand otherwise this will turn bad fast.

"Keep moving toward the keep, focus your attacks on the bugbear, I can handle these goblins. Come get some green uglies!" He says to the two woman nearest to him then yells at the goblins as he swings the pick axe at another of them. Again the lack of a good weapon takes its toll as he merely smashes the axe into the ground as the goblin jumps to the side.

"Hell!" He states at seeing the goblin horde before them. "Dante can you armor me up!" He yells to Dante hoping to get some defense as he moves over to his fellow warrior and draws his knife out, he will wait for the others to move back to the fort before acting.

I am slightly confused. The fort is marked can we get back to it? Do we need to get back through the gate first, then can we get to the fort? I didn't think the fort was anywhere near the tunnel we were digging. Some more clarification would be great.

He heeds Tyrus's call and goes to him before sleeping, "If what you are trying to say will work, the rest would be good for them. What about Lara? Only if the guards ask about those having bed rest, then you should tell the guards that they have something contagious. I will use a dose to help them heal if you are not here."
