Well that didn't work out well.

Unable to really get a feel for this creature, Levylissa tries to instead speak to it calmly trying to comfort it.

Levylissa slowly walks across the ice, trying to keep her balance.

Levy cautiously approaches the breached capsule, trying to gain clues from what she can see.

Levy nods and then addresses the children, kneeling down to seem more comforting, "What can you two tell me about your new pet?"

Levylissa goes to approach the children, but stops short at the vesk's interesting approach to child care. "Uhh. I think he's just trying to get you out of harm's way. I think..."

Levy stiffens at the reprimand from Nalo. She glares back at the vesk, "I'm being practical here. While I would prefer that we do this on our own, I don't want to risk success over pride." She then follows OMID on his way to E-Deck.

"The Society will definitely take care of you. We've got your back." Levylissa looks upon Ceren with a mix of admiration and a bit of sadness.

Levy moves up behind Mega and fires at the thug engaging Mincey.

"We need to deal with these guys. It looks like our efforts at hiding Ceren were compromised." Levy fires her pulsecaster at the yellow-dressed thug.

Levy moves up behind Ceres and pulls out her pulsecaster. "Stand back, Ceres. Stay safe."

Levylissa follows Mincey's path and purchases a disguise kit of her own. "I think we need to straighten the hair and nix the fur, Mincey."

So what's our next move since none of us have Medicine or Disguise?

Levylissa starts going through her contacts to try and get people to "remember" Ceren from a previous "encounter". Unfortunately, duplicity is not a strong point of hers. Luckily, her fellow Starfinders are able to find a few connections on their end and bolster Levy's attempts.

"Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking we are going to need to figure out a way to falsify a dead body and falsify some documents such as death certificate and new credentials. I think with our combined experience, we should be able to make that work."

Levylissa listens on in shock as the woman recounts her story, "You poor dear. I can't even imagine having to deal with such a situation. I am sure we can work something out." She thinks for a moment, and thinks back over the recounting, trying to decide if the lady is being completely forthcoming.

Well that is unfortunate...

Upon entering the home, Levylissa starts by thanking the woman and adding in some small talk on the loveliness of the home. She then adds, "The reason we are here is due to a report we received regarding a rather skilled hacker. We are not with station security and wish to talk to this individual. You see, we are representatives of the Starfinder Society and wish to offer our service to this individual along with an invitation to consider applying their skill to our greater cause."

I see not problem with it. I usually find PbP to be lacking when it comes to roleplaying and this has been very refreshing.

Levy smiles and nods at the older lady when they are beckoned inside, "Thank you for your hospitality. I'm sure this is all a misunderstanding and together we can get to the bottom of things."

Levy looks at OMID and nods, "Good point." Looking back at the kid, Levy gestures to the flat and adds, "Shall we?"

The scene presented is not what Levy was expecting. She looks to her colleagues before approaching the young man. "Hello! My name is Levylissa Li Lilley, Professor Li Lilley to my students. I am a Porfessor of Technoarchaeology on Castrovel. We represent the Starfinder Society and have become aware of a talented individual that resides here. We are interested in talking with this individual and, hopefully, trying to find some common ground. I, personally, am interested in learning from this individual and making a professional contact, given my fields of study. Do you happen to know if this individual is currently available for us to speak with?"

"Let's make our way to Drifter's End and try to head off station security. As OMID stated, we can reassess our tactics once we understand more on what is going to be there. I say we start with diplomacy and kindness. Anything else is likely to raise an alarm and get station security there quicker."

"I agree wholeheartedly with you, Roddy. I'm sure I'm not on the same level as this hacker, but at least we both share a love of technology. I would love to talk to this person."

"I don't think we need to be violent here. A gentle hand is more likely to get the information we need and a possible recruit. We need talent in the Society. It's better to work with it than against it."

"Maybe we just avoid them? I think we can make that work, right? How long do you think we have?"

"I, too, would like to pick the brain of someone so talented. As you may know, venture captain, I study and teach technoarchaeology. I feel that even though this is not historical in nature, my students and I can gain much wisdom from interviewing such a skilled hacker."

Levy is not used to doing anything that requires much stamina and quickly gets fatigued. She is able to, however, just avoid being trampled as she buys her own copy of the album. For academic purposes, of course.

Levylissa is very interested in the album and intends to get a copy for herself, too. Then...off to the Dataphiles?!?

Levy fires at the creature again from her current vantage point.

Levylissa moves towards the creature trying to figure out what it is exactly before firing at it with her pulsecaster.

"Be wary, friends. Be on guard." Levy draws her pulsecaster and stands at the ready.

Will stay back at the entrance and follow the lead of the others.

After seeing Roddy's look at watching the holovids, Levy cautiously watches it, choosing to focus on the creature itself rather than the carnage it is unleashing. "We definitely can't split up. If these videos are any indication of the what can happen, we need all hands on deck."

I would also like to apologize. Work has gotten in the way of doing what I want to at work - playing PFS/SFS.

"Now when you call this alien a beast, is that just a crude moniker for a being that is not well understood, or is this an animalistic creature? And to OMID's question, is this alien being able to communicate in a way that can be understood?" Levylissa falls back into professor-mode at the prospect of understanding a new life form.

Seeing a small lean in the bike, Levylissa quickly adjusts the controls to keep the bike on track for the amazing OMID. "Take it home OMID! You've got this."

Levy, feeling pretty mush useless, continues pointing out little things to OMID. Luckily, the android is more focused on the race than the annoying lashunta.

Levy continues to provide what little aid she can to the very adept OMID.

Levy stands OMID calling out tips as the race progresses.

Not having played this one before, I could use a little hint of where Levy could be useful.

Levy spends some time talking with Nyizin whilst among the precious junk. On the way back she recovers additional parts to help Laboni's bot speed along and maneuver effectively.

Levy can't deny herself the opportunity to explore this junkyard. She pokes around under the pretense of finding parts for the racer. "I think this chip could be used to increase the your speed, Ms. Laboni. Sounds like a good thing to do, given that this is a race."

Besides how many prerace actions we can take, what are the other mechanics for this "encounter" that we will need to know.

Levylissa is thrilled with all the collected technology in the area. It is a variable treasure trove of history. "This is incredible. How have I not heard of this before? I really need to get into the cities more often!" She then remembers her reason for being here, "I'm sorry, Ms. Laboni. I forget myself. It is my pleasure to be able to help you in this wondrous place! What can I do for you?"

"Time for field work!"

"When I was getting on the station, I, too, heard about this rivalry. I'm not really familiar with junkraces, though. I am more interested in hearing Strawberry Machine Cake while I'm here. I've got to admit they are a guilty pleasure of mine. At the very least, I'm gonna grab a copy of the limited release." Levy does a little bit of a dance and then realizes where she's at, "Ummmm. Ignore that. I think I might be able to help out Laboni with soupin' her ride." She then keeps going with a little dance move as one of the sugar-pop group's songs is stuck in her head.
