Leeoli sprints forwards and sends an elongated arm to dice the troll.
oops, I forgot to add the group buffs to Leeoli's rolls.
Stepping on the dying Goblin, Leeoli reaches over Gur with elongated arms and slices at the Troll.
Leeoli decided not to squeeze past Gur, and instead pulls an extract of long arm from his wrist belt. Immediately, his arms drop to the ground, doubling their length, as he does so, Leeoli studies the troll intently.
These can only be put down by fie or by acid! Leeoli pulls his rapier out of the body watching the wound knit as he did so. Rufus, do you not carry alchemists fire upon your person?

Leeoli siezes the opportunity and performs a studied strike against the downed dog.

If it pleases the rest of you, we are not in a particular hurry, and shortcuts through swamps rarely are actually faster, as the going becomes slower. Leeoli, of the Maleye. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. he replies curtly, nodding his head ever so slightly. Tall, thing, and scraggly, Leeoli ever has the look of having not slept or ate well for weeks. Beneath that ragged appearance was a shrewd mind ever wary of the coming darkness, and with it, the undead scourge that has plagued his family's line.
Necromancy eh? Not a good look.
This is maybe the most important clue we could have found. Let us take our time to inspect this cabinet thoroughly. Leeoli begins to catalogue each skin, removing them and laying them aside. He then inspects the ghastly cabinet itself.

These seem to resemble the victims whose murder the Beast has been accused. The Miller of Hargen, the woman from the Cerny Brothel, a merchant of some stature...and a university professor. And this one here, is from a creature of flesh, fur, and scales,who stood at least 8 feet tall. Note how the skin is covered with fungal boils and eruptions.
Blood indeed.
That key is more than a little strange. I've seen nothing like it before. Leeoli looks about the room, inspecting records.
mmm. Not the cleanest operation. Leeoli's nose wrinkles. Let us go into the attic.
12 vials of acid, and 12 vials of a base to neutralize acids. Nothing here is incriminating.
Leeoli nods in agreement and follows Gur.
Leeoli looks about him, wondering how he'd come to raid an alchemical laboratory. He lifts the flap of the protective suit and retrieves a foul looking vial. Looks more useful to me than this dead fellow. Leeoli grimaces. What would his family think? The Maleye's were in the alchemical trade. An overt raid like this of a potential competitor cannot look good. If they have any influence at the guild, his family will here of it. not a good look for the Maleye's who have been running an expansionary campaign...that is, unless he suppressed the evidence of his presence...not likely. His name was registered to the defense of this Charlie. Perhaps, perhaps. Leeoli pushes those thoughts away, and stands up resolutely. We will discover their uses later. Let us explore these grounds. These alchemical foundries look odd to me. Something is not right...
The flu is no joke.
Might as well compound murder with theft. Clearly Leeoli feels uncomfortable with the whole endeavor, but there was no backing away from it now. Best thing to do is hope their hunch was correct. He searches the bodies looking for clues and other nifty items.
The problem with the situation, Leeoli cannot help but feel, was the alchemist was probably correct. We WERE working outside of the law, and perhaps we did commit murder against innocents. Their intrusion was based upon a hunch concerning an errant bottle of bleach, and a few scribbled notes... Leeoli mentally prepares himself for a life on the run, or in prison. In any case, the Maleye family would not be pleased.
Leeoli stands back and watches them work. If you didn't want to kill him, you could have refrained from throwing an axe. Leeoli says drily.
Leeoli stops short, amazed as the axe flew and didn't clang uselessly, but in fact made for quite the heroic scene, out of a carnival act really. OK Gur. Welcome to the team. Don't do that to me.
