Hey guys, this is The Kommandar, Claptrap, Midiotoziggeroto, Alex Armstrong, Moneez here.
First a little bit. I struggle with Bi-Polar depression, i have my entire life and i still have not managed to gain any lasting stability in my 25 years of fighting with it.
Over the last while, more then a month i believe, it has taken a turn for the worst, it has gone downhill tremendiously and chaoticly.
I lost the ability to do many things, including most of the things i enjoy, like pathfinder. I am just simply unable to do them right now. Its too overwhelming.
I also have been wanting to write this a long time ago, but had the same issue. sorry it has taken so long.
Anyways, i do not see me being able to continue playing this for the immediate future so i am going on hiatus for a while, while i focus on my life.
I truly wish that i can come back to this sometime, i was having so much fun with my teleporting Midioto, my crazy robot with a few screws loose and my goblin general. I only hope that when that comes i might be able to rejoin, or create new stories with you guys.

Kekekeke. You may as well TRY to muzzle Gabberjabber but i well doubt you could, and you may find his perchant for noise and... Deception useful later on.

Hello Wild ones. I am surprised to see you here, so far from your jungles, but then again, here i am away from my war.


As the Kommandar stood stoticly atop the red dragons back he sighed.
It looks like it is time to repay past favours, to reply in kind for services rendered. We will see if the value of elementals willingly bound in bullets is worth this price i am about to pay.
The Kommandar then reminices on events in recent past.
He had made a pact with Brim the Everflame. The Kommandar would be allowed to bind willing elementals into his bullets if only he would enleash them against worthy foes and allow them the wonton destruction they desired. And that he answer his summons when the time came that he was called. Brim would also overlook the elementals that he had bound unwilingly as well, of course.
The Kommandar got the feeling that he was only bound to answer the summons with no expectations of his answer, it would not be that easy. Brim no doubt had leverage over the Kommandar that would leave him little choice on his part, or prove too costly to refuse...
Whoever this mysterious patron was, he no doubt was connected to Brim in some way or other. Whether pulling the strings or dancing to this mysterious patrons tune. Now how do i exploit this to my advantage or at least minimize its damage.

Thats right. I have my diplomat, Gabberjabber with me. Whatever the situation he will construe it to my benefit, as he has always done in the past.

Disembarking off of the dragon that The Kommandar had cared not to converse with nor learn its name, Gabberjabber no doubt had that covered, a smile formed on his lips. It was his old companions, Kerza the Not-Human, Aren the Light and the Beast Brothers. This would no doubt be interesting.


Hey all, sorry i havnt posted in a bit. I got hit hard with depression, worst one in years and it has wiped me out, mopped the floor and hung me out to dry.
I have been keeping in contact with the GM, and he knows whats going on, but for now just a status update.

Hello everyone, good news! GM Eternity is back in the picture now and has been in contact with me, asking me to post (which it seems he did anyways). He is aiming to get this campaign going, an is wondering where everyone is at, who is still here, and a head count if we can get it :)
Personally i would love to get The Kommandar up and going, an i am really enthuseastic about this :)

Shogun is The Kommandars trusty shotgun. The colour of tarnished gold, the relic is nearly indestructable and explodes with a massive bang every time it is fired. Shogun has been with The Kommandar since the beginning of his military carreer. Wherever The Kommandar is, Shogun is surely close by.

GabberJabbers Double Decoy Ring
Legendary Decoy Ring combined with a Decoy Ring and infused with Art of Deception (via mythic forge ring)
Adroit, Undetectable and Returning

2x Legendary Surge, 1x Mythic Surge. Add 1d8 to any Dex skill check, Initiative or Ref save.
Spend 1 Legendary Surge as a swift action to gain +20 insight bonus to 1 Stealth check.
Spend 1 Mythic Power to teleport the ring to GabberJabbers hand.
Add +11 to all bluff, disguise and sense motive skill checks.
Whenever GabberJabber withdraws or becomes helpless, the Double Decoy ring renders him invisible for 3 rounds and creates 8 illusionary duplicates that either run off in random directions or make other obsene gestures as to draw enemy attention. The duplicates last 3 rounds, have AC 10, and can be disbelieved with a DC 19 Will check.
While invisible by any means, GabberJabber cannot be detected or scryed by any means.

One of the main reasons GabberJabber has survived so long among such powerful peers and amidst the political struggles and backstabbing of the goblin court can be atributed to this ring. The ring radiates an aura of deception and subterfuge and allows the wearer to sneak into the most securely monitored places or escape in a flash of confusion as well as subtly enhance the wearers socal mannerisms.
A few things with this. Firstly, this ring lets you go invisible, create distractions, lie and detect lies, and become immune to scrying. It dosent make much sense that it should boost concentration... So i changed its surge to what the feet slot would have, makes more sense.
Mythic forge ring gives me the ability to tie 1 ability to the ring and make it count as 4 levels higher, so i chose Art of Deception.
By doubling up the rings, i only doubled the amount of decoys that come out, nothing more.
This is going to be a fun ring :D


Alright, Bullet Building time XD
i set aside a full 200k for my "Bag o Bullets" and now time to go hog wild and start crafting them XD


Since Aeon is neutral, it seems to fit the group as a whole better than any of the other extreme outsiders. However, the Inevitables would work great for The Kommandar.

Now another thing just hit me. I AM a summoner. That means I can summon things. and bind them. Now heres the thought. Would I be able to summon some creatures (Im thinking of some of the Inevitables, thus owing them a favor or something, and some others, like elementals or big nasties) and then bind them into hollow bullets using Minimus Containment. Then have the release clause be when the bullet breaks (aka after being fired). Now I would only have a handful of these (at most) and they would be my clutch bullets for when the stinky stuff really hits the fan. To do this I would have to work with you on the matters of them being summoned, the release triggers/conditions, any bargins, Cost, and even after that, once the bullet is fired (or destroyed some other way) I dont actually have control over the creature, rather just hope it wreaks havoc on those it just got freed beside.

The Kommandar is a collector of bullets, and the thought of him collecting powerful outsiders in bullets is appealing :)

Im thinking.
an Inevitable, with the promise of only being fired against a creature of great chaotic energies.
A few elementals, for an extreme boost of power for that shot. Im thinking of a Fire elemental sealed into a +1 Planar Flaming Burst bullet for example.
A pit fiend or other devil. This one would be bound forcibly and against its will. It would be contained in an Unholy Bane bullet. I would call this one "Hells Fury". Considering that I trapped it against its will, it probably hates me. And considering the effects of keeping such a potent force of evil closely with me... Damned if you fire it and Damned if you dont XD

This could create some interesting senarios, for example. I just shot a fire elemental at a group of corrupted trees. After the elemental consumed the trees, it sees us and decides that we would make an interesting desert. Now we got to fight the elemental as well.
Another example. I fire the Hells Fury bullet at a group from the Church of I-Didnt-Know-They-Were-Actually-Evil. After the bullet kills the guy I just shot (from damage), the Devil decides to help them kill ME. The encounter just got harder...

I had to go back and try and figure out where the original Kommandar came from, i had forgot! Ya, I remember that one now :) Sadly I never got in :(
On a related note, I got lots more done for the Kommandar and am getting things compiled together (finally! Everything was spread out over 4 different aliases...) All i have left to do for the Kommandar is: Items (Gulp), spells and touch up the skill section. Then go over everything to make sure the dual alias is good and up to snuff.
BTW on The Kommandars page, the first 2 spoilers is his crunch, 1st for on his own, and 2nd for when he is in his tank. I figured that was the best way.
You guys should open up the following profiles and unspoiler all the tabs, just to see how much was written o.O It truly was a labour of love...

So of the guys who was traveling with Kerza during his adventuring days, who all is there? I ask because I need to know what i can count as others having crafted for me. (then I can finish off the items section)
And I want to write a little bit about my Adventuring Days in my backstory :) Its the last that is really missing.

Well i found the dynasty founder story feat that i like a lot, so i was planning on using that. Id be up for having a nemisis, it just wouldnt be tied to a feat.
I imagine i could have any number of goblin rivals vying for my head or even some gnomes on the other side of the Rusty Gears war making the fight personal.

Take mythic brew potion and eternal potion discovery. Mythic brew potion lets you make any spell level a potion, so you can make any spell you can cast eternal...
I was thinking of eternal monsterious humanoid but other good ideas would be twin form, true seeing or undead anatomy (for you), or resurgent transformation for permenant +4 str/con, dr 5/- and haste, greater invisibility, or if you are going to stick with barkskin, at least combine it with acute senses for an absurd +30 to perception.
Can the shaman cast spells? If so, you can make any of them (all the way up to 9th) into a potion and then eternal, or use alchemical allocation (two fisted drinker was made for this). :) happy hunting!!

As for me, i still need to work on equipment, feats and spells, then tweak my skills. :)


As for the kommandar, he wouldnt care that much eiter way as far as undead go. They can make decent solders and can even keep your solders alive/undead longer.
Remember his parent race is pretty chaotic evil... Hes used to living within it, BUT, if ever one came a little too close... BANG!
Aultruism is something beyond him, you obey your superiors. Yet it is something that his envoy would do (probably in a schemy way) and the Kommandar has seen results, he just wouldnt understand it...

And i know the feeling of being underpowered XD
Realize that combat in this wouldbe a complete rocket tag fest if it was done in the normal, low powered fashion, and it tends to be a fair bit different at high levels. If your goal is straight up killcount, then you will feel underwhelmed, others do it better, if its insane durability and saves the pally/barb will have you beat :p
thats why at this level you need to build more for concept/flavour rather then eking out every little bonus you can.

Example. I cant even shoot Kerza, and i have almosst no other trick besises that XD

The crunch is here, there are 2 stat blocks in the profile, 1st for when he is on his own and second for when he is riding his tank. I plan on spoilering whichever one is not used atm.

Im all for intergrating mine and Kerzas backstorys together as i can imagine they would be quite the dynamic duo :)

The Kommandar is a ranged assassin, capable of sniping from just about any distance and with just about perfect accuracy. His shots ignore concealment, cover, (ricochet shot), any miss chance (mythic precise shot), most armor (touch attacks) and can even shoot around corners. All for stupid single target damage. It also means that he sucks at taking out crowds ;p
He should be a great sneak and infultrator (working on that part) when not tanked up, or a real durable tank. He also has decent cha and summons and summoners spells.

I would like it if someone could look over his AC, as with a synthesist, that is always complex.

hps: 2d8 + 16 - 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 16 - 4 = 17 +1 because you get at least 1 hp every level :S

Sorry, I didn't mean to be confrontational, its just that this is a gestalt campaign. That means you get 2 classes at each level so you can be paladin 20 but you also get 20 levels in another class on top of that. So say 20 levels of paladin and 20 levels of fighter while still remaining a 20th level character.


So I had this crazy (and probably stupid) idea.
A human (or better yet, a custom race with both the static and bonus feat) unbreakable fighter 20/monk 18, gendarme (cavalier) 2 with the quadriplegic flaw. He would have 40 feats! How you would play such a character I have no idea, but he would have lots of feats! (And no real ones :P)


I think as long as you don't have side X boosting side Y you should be ok (and remember that one side would have to be single class and have all your FCB). So if you had witch 20/prestige witch your caster level and such would remain at 20.

Lantzkav, might I recomend the vest of stable mutation? It gets rid of that annoying hit to your mental stats when you mutate (aka all the time). Also, check out my asterion, Tauros. He has 60 str, 32 dex and 42 con :) imigine if I added on Barbarian to that XD


You realize that if you do that I will have to craft ammunition that whistles "The Game" when fired and then fire them in your general direction :)
I would then have to yell out "He lost the game!!" at the top of my lungs.

Assuming x/y, as long as you are not using mystic on the x side to boost something on the y side you should be good.

So this is Joseph Bonkers
I had built this guy up for a Synthesist gestalt campaign that was level 12 here and failed to get him all built up in time :'( I am crying here!
I reaally like the guy, he is a goblin riding a tank!!! He is also 90% statted up as a level 12 character and I could easily (ha!) boost him up to level 20 and make him my submission.
A few things about him.
He is a goblin.

Synthesist 12/Gunslinger 12
operates under the "Guns Everywhere" rules.
He wields a double barrelled shotgun affectonally dubbed his "Shogun"
He carries hundreds (and hundreds) of ammunition in his pockets! He has a fear of running out of ammo and not having the right bullet for the job (hence the massive amounts of ammo)
He uses the vital strike line of feats to make truly powerful single shots but he can fall behind in the damage race against others when they get to full attack.
He is NOT smart or wise, he has 10 int and 8 wis (and 1 grit point)! I am going to have fun playing the brash, stupid goblin ^-^
Heck he only has a 16 cha as a primary caster!
He hates having his size modified and will always attempt to resist effects like enlarge person. "Goboshs ment ta biee shmalll! It'sh no biee natshural ta messhh wit dat!"

His Eidolon
serpentine large creature, no legs, 2 hands (to wield cannon)
lots of defensive evolutions
Honestly fairly optimized (he has 50 AC at level 12, I shudder to think what it would be at level 20!)
It is one slooow creature! base ms of 20 -_-
He currently wields a large (was about to change it to be huge but ran out of time) double hackbut
It is a creature, not a construct, so my tank can bleed and such. It is just a really durable creature -_-

Things to change for this campaign
He has (some) magic! As such he should fit in the wizard school. Heck he can still cast better magic than the headmaster ^-^
You alright with synthesist? I anticipate him to have some rather... High ac, defences and
such.
I can upgrade his stats to fit this campaign, 30pb, 20th level, ect
I realize you said only semi-crunch is needed but I already have him 90% statted out, so I might as well finish it ^-^
Whats your ruling on guns? He currently is using the Guns Everywhere rule but I can make him work with Emerging guns and up.
He is currently supposed to be a small goblin and a huge battle tank. I can upgrade that to colossal wielding a colossal cannon. You ok with that? I havent decided if this is what I am going to do, but the thought of a baneblade sized tank appeals to me ^-^ I can also make it so he switches between huge and colossal easily enough (juggernauts pauldrions). I am worried about tight spaces and needing to squeeze but if worse comes to worse he can always jump out (dismiss it) and fight just effectively enough on his own. Or blow a hole in the wall...

Kommandar Killthemjaro was a goblin born of the bloodsnake clan, he was a also a goblin seemingly born out of his time. Most every night he would get dreams. Dreams of a never ending battle on a world that could never possibly be this one. It was a war of conquest and bloodshed, the earth covered in greenskins, orcs, goblins and beasts of all types in such numerous quantities as to turn the ground into a living tide. Such quantities of orcs and goblinkind could never exist on Golariaon yet he could see them crystal clear in his minds eye. Best of all, every single one of them was equipped with guns of all sorts and killy potential and aside them strode gigantic metal beasts known only as "Tanks." These awe inspiring beasts drew such admiration from the goblin that he coveted it above all else.

All of a sudden he was awoken by a bright flash of light...

Look upthread a bit, I gave some basic crunch on a 10 handed, 10 gunned beast to see how many shots he would pump out. It was 64 or so shots ,')

Today ended up being a really busy day and it was the day I intended to finish my guy. Mind if I get him done tonight? I might be a little late on the deadline, sorry!


I hear ya Gansukh! I got a level 2 Armored hulk barbarian dwarf that has so many modifiers its kinda retarded. Adding in Eidolon would just make me cry...
Lets see how many mods he has...
2 to perception
2 to AC
1 to Ref saves
4 to Will saves
4 to hit
2 to damage
3 to CMB
1 to CMD
And THEN add on the modifiers for rage... All that and hes only lvl 2...

The biggest problem is that the tank don't generally want to get into combat SD
(Btw, I got 50AC as well, and I could take the gunslinger feat, no longer provoke and ride merrily into combat)


The way reloading will work for me is thrus;
Gobo shotgun. Standard action vital strike, move action reload. 5ft step. Or
Standard action vital strike, swift action instant reload 1 barrel, move action used to move. Next turn swift to load sevond barrel and vital strike again, move action to reload.
If that makes sense. I can stand and shoot every turn or move and shoot every other turn.
Tanks Boomcannon. Standard action vital strike, swift action reload, move action used to move. I do have 2 barrels so even if I fail to reload 1 round I will still be fine and can move and fire every turn.

If I switch out vital strike and instead opt for full attacking things will have to change, most notably loss of shotguns, taking the musket master archetype, taking rapid reload (which I don't have right now) and using alchemical cartredges. I will figure that one out when I cross that bridge :P

Start with 2d8 medium, 3d8 large, 4d8 huge when firing both barrels?
first one is average 21 damage while second one is average 18 damage a barrel.

I can often get my math wrong so going over it is never a bad thing :)
Correct on vital strike. Its a standard action, can't charge with it, can't full attack, can't use it as an aoo, no dead shot, no called shot, no cleave, only the first set of dice crit, it stacks with very little else :P it also, on average does notacibly less damage then full attacking so this is a big point where I am not optimizing. I might have to change over, we will see.

As for the shotgun, each barrel does 2d6, for 4d6 shooting both, 12d6 when vital striking. When I crit, only the first 4d6 gets multiplied, not all 12d6, so 16 on a crit.

Base damage. 8 for dex and 3 for enhancement (its a +3 shotgun) totals 11. Double that for 2 barrels and you get 22.

Now that gave me the idea of a huge shotgun :D I will have to look into that ;)

Looking at Gros damage, I might have to drop the more flavourful vital strike and use the stronger full attack to keep up with the jones :P

I am aware setting up the boomcannon is a full round action, however I intend to ignore that and eat the -4 to hit 90% of the time (I errorenously called it doubleshot. Will change it).

Since I will be vital striking all the time, my damage would be 18d6+11/x4, so average 128 with 1 shot, sucks if I miss :)
If I went up to huge I believe it would be 24d6+10/x4, average 143. Woe be the poor sap I crit XD whops, my math is way wrong! Let me rethink
Full attacking with rapid fire would be stronger but like I said, I like the image of a single cannon shot over the gatling gun :) same reason I took the thundering enchantment, what boomcannon would be worth it without the boom?

Combining belts. That is exactly what I was looking at :) just wanted to check :)

Glad you like the optimization ^-^ we are 5 levels shy and using horrendiously powered gestalt combos so I figured is make use of it >:D

Well I just finished the second stat block, and I got to say, its massively different! Very little is similar between the two and it is like 2 separate characters completely :P

I actually intend to be able to go eidolonless as I built up my guy as a commando kind of guy, completely functional on his own (and still retaining good damage!). Then he hops into his tank. Now the fun begins! As such, he is completely fine in or out :) Go figure. I build a synthesist with good physical stats and dumped mental stats :P

Good to know that I will have to carry everything!!! I am going to have to look hard at them extra-dimensional spaces, ant haul and muleback chords! I am going to have a tank in my pocket -_-

So using enlarge person (permancied or via juggernauts Pauldrons) is legit, but how are you for for it? It would be quite the power boost :P
As for the large/huge hackbut, my small little gobo could never wield it anyways ^-^ No chance. He has a secondary small sized double-barrelled shotgun for that :)

Bane bullets. I am looking at Demons/devils, undead, monstrous humanoids and possibly human :) Thanks for the heads up!

Again, about the combining belts. Can I combine the belt of dex with the beneficial bandolier or do I have to use the weaker endless one? (Weaker as in only 60 capacty compared to 200)

Mentioning enlarge person to Nice Nice, I had the idea "why not make the tank enlarged?"
Go for a huge tank trundling around the battlefield XD I would have to up the hackbut to huge size as well, take another -2 to dex, have troubles in small spaces but it could work.
Your thoughts GM? Might be too much? The damage would increase again to 8d6 i believe.
I dunno, I wont go that route unless you give me a good solid go.

BTW, I got rid of the circlet and poncho, so the only thing I would combine would be the beneficial bandolier, solely for the 200 round carrying capacity :)

10th post, looks like I am sticking with this name :P hence the low amount of posts :)

I have a few questions, comments that have been building up for a while so here is a good time to ask them.

Magic Items. You said no custom items, does that extend to combining items? It wont really affect me, so this is mostly for others. The only things that I would combine would be a belt of dex and a Beneficial Bandolier, a circlet of persuasion and headband of cha, a gunfighters poncho and a cloak of resistance. I am already way overbudget so scrapping the bandolier, circlet and poncho will be easy :)

The form of the submissions. You gave an example of how you wanted the submissions to be handed in but I am realizing that my non-fused form and my fused form are so vastly different that I have been building 2 sets of crunch and had to spoiler them to prevent a giant wall of text. I hate spoilering my crunch, it makes it harder to read them at a glance. You mind just going over how exactly you want the stats again? (think small goblin wielding small shotgun and large tank wielding large cannon, covered in armor and defensive mechanisms, large difference)

Equipment and whos carrying what. Certain items are only going to be used when I am in one form or other (ex the large hackbut and barrels of gunpowder on the large eidolon and the small shotgun on the small goblin as well as different sized ammunition). Can I have some gear "disappear" when the eidolon is dismissed/killed or do I have to carry EVERYTHING on my str 7, small sized goblin :)
Depending on the answer i will have to rather radically change my equipment (the latter would require muleback chords and ant haul most likely).

Ioun stones. You said we are using Ioun stones and wayfinders. I just want to check, are we allowed to implant them? And can we assume that we got them implanted a ways back in our career, and are we allowed to pay someone to do the heal/arcane check or do we have to do that to ourselves? Since the only downside to the checks is time, can we assume that we succeeded on a 20? (just do it over and over and over again, resting to heal inbetween each time as necessary) I dont have a whole lot of skills so I intend to save any where I can :P

@ Nice Nice:
(I like the name, easy to remember :D). I notice that you are taking a level of oracle for the fatigue immunity. Is there any other particular draw for this or is this purely a mechanical tax? If the later, might I suggest staying barbarian for the 12th level, taking the Internal Fortitude rage power as your 12th level power and going with a Flawed Scarlet and Green Cabochon? You become sickened every time you would normally become fatigued and become immune to the sickened effect (aka ragecycling at level 8), as bonuses you can stick the ioun stone in a wayfinder and forget about it and you gain endurance as a bonus feat and you become immune to nauseated and you get to stay pure barbarian. its a way better tradeoff.

2nd. If/since we are allowed to take monster feats you might want to look at the Noxious Bite feat. It is normally stupidly hard to get access to but summoners can take the breath weapon evolution (incredibly good) to qualify for it. I dont know if you can squeeze in the evolution points and feat but it would be great for you build :) You get a 12d6 damage breath weapon that automatically hits when your target is in your mouth (this should happen often for a biter gobo :P). since you should have at least a 17 con, and raging to make it 23, your noxious bite will nauseate people for 6 rounds. That is 6 rounds of uselessness, And best part is that they become totally screwed when you bite them because it is a standard action to escape a grapple and they can only take move actions XD

3rd. You might want to take a look at Juggernauts Pauldrons because you can stack it with the large evolution for huge size. Then you can bite just about anyone, your bites do more damage, you bet better CMB/CMD, extra str, plus other things :)
That and Amulet of grappling :)
Just a suggestion.

4th. Lunge feat, reach. You already have reach, so lunge would just be a bonus, but reach and grappling is beautiful :)

It dosent have to be the nearest open space, just any open space adjacent to you. This means that you can grapple a target behind a wall and whip it over you head and behind you. It is now out of cover and completely exposed to all of your allies (aka soon to be dead). This is the real way to reposition someone :D (reposition is broken, it is so horrible :P)

Sorry to pick on you Nice Nice, I just really want to have gobos in this campaign and I like yours and hope to offer some friendly advice :)
