Female Tiefling Transmuter
Ignore the portrait for now can't change portraits and using an old alias that has been dormant. The tiefling spins around at hearing her name and has the same shocked look on her face when she see's Celia "Celia? I... we heard about the fire. I wasn't sure if you were there or what. I'm so glad to see you're alright!"

Kira listens to the Queens speech, not having an opinon one way or another but only interested in mainting the city and helping it propser "It will be our honor to help restore balance to this glorious city and hopefully once again allow it to continue to grow and prosper!" "I know I for one will be happy to do what needs to be done to ensure things can get back to normal and the city can once again move forward with no issues. Do you perhaps have any assistance we can utilize in order to make sure we can do the best job that we can?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira listens intently and nods her agreement when the Marshal finishes up "It would be an honor to help the city gain some order once again." Hearing the name and location she thinks back on her knowledge of the area, trying to remember if there is anything important about Verik or All the World's Meat. Know. Local: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Kira wakes early and heads out of the citadel, though staying nearby, gathering some various plants and other things she can find nearby. Seeing how those she met seemed to have more need for healing she made sure to have some extra supplies in case they ran into any further troubles. After getting what she needed she heads back to the citadel to wait for the others to meet up.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira stays in the back, taking in the scenes as they get to the citadel. Her mind running over different scenarios for the city and possible outcomes of the events that have unfolded, less and less concerned with their present task. When Marshal Kroft mentions work and the others agree she simply nods her head in agreement, letting the others run with things for the time being. As people begin to split up she speaks up breifly "I'll stay here, I need some rest." she then heads off to find an open bunk at the citadel, her head swimming with everything that has been going on.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira shrugs "I told you all something was off, but as you noted it helped us in the end so for now the matters of our escort and getting these kids to safety should be a priority." With that Kira starts to walk toward the citadel, herding the children as best she can and motioning for the others to come along.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira shakes her head and thinks to herself I knew something was off. Turning to the other and motioning toward the children "Perhaps we take them to the citadel as well so they can sort out getting these children back to their homes?" She then remembers the chest Crain is carrying [b]"Um.. not sure what we should do with that now. Maybe just leave it here?"
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira's eyes widen a bit when she recognizes the man. "Mr. Jeggare. We would be happy to escort you back. I wonder though if it would be too much of an imposition if we made a short detor to check on some childeren we freed from horrible conditions? We are not too far from where we were headed but your family mansion is quite in the opposite direction. Of course, we will see to your safety in the meantime." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Wow hot dice. Making up for all those horrible combat rolls.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira huffs under the weight of the chest as she follows the others to the carriage. As the mob disperses she shrugs to the others "We can take the man where he needs but someone else is going to need to lug this chest around." She sits it down gentle before breaking out her waterskin and drinking some water.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira drops the chest in frustration at all the talk of the city falling, forgetting the cargo inside and storms up to the drunk guard "The city will not fall, it has been here long before us and will live on long after us. You do your post and yourself a dishonor by just giving up so easily. If you don't have the stomach for it, go drink yourself into oblivion but there are those here that will ensure the city stands no matter the circumstances." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 After a moment she huffs and goes back to the chest, picking it up slowly as she remember the contents inside.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira freezes as she sees the streets in panic. She closes her eyes and tries to focus on the feel of the city and what it is telling her. She shakes herself out of it after a moment, the grief and unrest almost unberable. She thinks back on the queen and king trying to remember anything of importance, anything that could help in their current situation if a problem arose. Know. Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
As she sees the others continuing on she hefts the chest up a little and follows behind not saying a word.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
While the discussion is still hot about Lamm she looks to the others "If he dies here, how to all the others who have been wronged claim justice? There may be things he knows that can help to ease the suffering of others. I could care less whether he lives or dies, but for the good of the city and those citizens who have been wronged he should be brought to proper justice. I am sure we are not the only ones he has wronged." After finding the head "I knew she was holding something back, being dead and some appirition would definitely qualify as something she was holding back." She shrugs though "In either case it got us here to deal with this. Perhaps we can help her rest, if she is in fact a ghost by returning the head and cards to her place?"
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira waits for some of the others to get down the stairs first before taking aim with her bow. As she let's the arrow loose, she tells the others "I say we attempt capture if at all possible." Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Just getting down the steps she stubles a bit as she takes the shot the arrow flying wide.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira grins as the kids run off thinking to herself 'The children of the city free to follow their own paths, hopefully better paths then what they were subjected to here.' She waits for at least two of the tougher fellows to lead the way before she follows with her bow drawn.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
If Kira does not have a clear shot she will try to help Cassiel convice the kids to move "Kids, we are here to free you from these monsters, get out of here so that we can deal with them!" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 If she can in fact make a shot without hitting the kids, she will take aim at the Half-Orc and fire while the others try to disperse the children. Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Assuming the double doors are open so she has line of sight Kira already frustrated by the whole shark situation and well aware these people are not friendly pulls out an arrow and takes a shot at the man in the back. Attack w/PBS: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 = 14
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira tries to keep her bow out of the water as Cassiel swiftly deals with the shark, glad that it went after him instead of her as he was obviously able to handle himself. Kira works her way back to the dock and climbs out of the water. Once Cassiel gets out she goes over to look at the injuries. "Give me a moment." She pulls out some berries and various plants and starts grinding them together in the palm of her hand, then rubbing her hands together quickly. As she touches her hand against his wound there is a warm tingly sensation and a slight sensation of tension. She removes her hands leaving behind the odd plant mixture but there is no more blood. CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Kira steps back from Cassiel "Hope that does it. Though we better not have many more issues. I don't have any more herbs with me."
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira shakes her head "The boat at the back. I don't think there is anyone outside but the sails are raised. I would rather our only lead not escape while we rummage through a warehouse. At the least maybe we can do something to hamper using the ship for escape and then check the interior of the warehouse. We can go along the boardwalk it looks, to get around to the back side."
Female Tiefling Transmuter
After looking to the sky a moment and before answering Cassiel's question, Kira starts chirping like a bird for what seems to be an entire sentence. Once she finishes she looks to Cassiel with a stren look "Well, he either murdered my father, or at the very least knows who did. I tracked down my fathers signet ring at a pawn shop after his murder and the owner noted Lamm as the one who sold him the ring."
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira looks to Cassiel and sighs then back to Zellara "Very well, we shall see if we can find him. I assume you will be here once we have any developments?" Without waiting for a reply she walks out with the others and looks to them "Yes, introductions. I am Kira." Without another word she looks to the sky apparently listening to something.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira arrived to the building early. Seeing the sign and having read the note she promtply remembers an important detail of the location. As such, instead of heading inside she finds a place where she can blend in and watches from afar. She watches as a woman arrives and observers the place and then later another man, then eventually as another man approaches. As they enter the building she waits a minute longer before following, making sure there are not others then enters herself. When she finds the three inside she watches a moment before speaking up "Erhm, hello. It appears we are all here for the same reason?" she intones as a question.
Female Tiefling Transmuter
Kira opens her eyes as a piece of paper slaps into her face. She reaches up to pull it away noticing the Harrow card. Flipping it over to get a better look she notices the writing and a smile crosses her face as she reads. She pockets the card, not overly concerned about how it came into her possession and takes one last look around the city, inhaling deeply before going on her way. Heading home she gathers some supplies. Thinking to herself "Ah finally, a chance to avenge my father. If this Gaedran didn't murder him, he at least knows who did to have sold his signet ring." She slips on her armor and grabs her bow and a quiver of arrows. Before heading out she stops by and tell the business accountant that she will be away on personal business today and that he should take care of any business matters while she is away, if anything of grave importance arises she will take care of it at a later date. With that she heads on her way not caring about arriving early. As she makes her way there she thinks about whether there is anything important about the address on the back of the card. Know. Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Sorry for the slightly late arrival. Greetings everyone and thank you for the invite! Looking forward to getting this underway as I've really been wanting to try out an Urban Druid for some time and this AP is completely new to me. A little about myself IRL - I work in IT, I have a wife and child, with another baby on the way (so there may be some slowed posting from me around the end of July) Otherwise, I usually post at a minimum every weekday around 8-9 AM central and noon to 1 pm central. A lot of times I can post much more often during the week between 8am-3pm. Weekends are hit and miss but I try and post on the weekends at least once a day. I also GM a number of PbP games here. Currently 3 RotRL and 2 Shattered Star games plus 1 Thornkeep. So I am pretty active on the boards. As for my character and knowing the others she is a merchant though pretty new to the profession sincer her father was murdered. The family business is around trade of various cloth, leathers, and the like. As such if you have had any mercantile business we could have meet. Additionally, Kira is always out and about exploring the city, she has done this since she was very young. If you have been in the city for some time it is likely we would have crossed paths at some point for any tie ins that way.

Kira woke early, just before dawn and quickly got dressed. Avoiding her normal attire of fine clothing, she instead opted for the much more durable clothing common to explorers and adventurers. Tying her dirty blonde hair back with some simple cloth, she looked in the mirror just a moment. Her hazel eyes were greener than normal, obviously a sign of her distress. Shrugging she continued getting ready. The early morning was really the only time she had before having to spend time seeing to the affairs of her family’s business. With her father gone now, it fell on her shoulders to keep her father’s legacy strong. At 17 years of age, she had enjoyed the luxuries of her father coddling her. Though she had many lessons between her time in archery classes, her tutelage on business affairs, and her time with the clergy of Abadar it was all very easy. With her father’s passing, the trauma of that alone was a great weight to bear, being murdered in the streets, however it was not that alone, now she must also tend to all of his business. She shook the thoughts out of her head and opened the door. Taking in the smells of the city as it washed over her. Quickly she ran through the streets, her boots thudding against the cobblestone. She knew the city so well, she could nearly feel it, feel its soul as odd as it was to think a city had a soul. She found he favorite spot to climb, using the foot and hand holds from a set of pigeon roosts to climb up to the tops of the buildings. Reaching the roof she was now in the Shingles. Having to deal with other merchants and those with means it was nice to take in the sights and sounds of the more common people. This was where the city really lay. While the nobles, the military and the merchants all were important pieces of Korvosa, its common people really made the city whole. Here, Kira waited watching the sun as it rose, seeing the early risers start their day, the bakers firing up their stoves, the street sweepers cleaning any trash from the night before. Kira sat for a time after the sun rose, closing her eyes and enjoying what she could feel as the pulse of the city started to grow.
