Color Spray is a very nasty thing. As a player, I've won encounters in one cast many times with this spell. This is the first time I've been to the other side .) I think if we hadn't been disabled by this spell and if Tusk hadn't been half late in the fight, we could have won despite the fact that we had collected all the enemies at once. I can't say that it wasn't enough a little bit, the cobra was a problem because of its DR and AC, but still... As a GM, I try to avoid some of the spells that players use - the part of them that just turns off the creatures, aka "save or suck" (color spray, or dazing metamagic, of phantasmal killer, etc). I think it's normal for general fun to make such a non-equivalent story. But at the same time, I don't mind when my characters die if everything was within the rules. What's the interest in playing a game that you never lose? So in my opinion, everything was fine.

Maybe he came late ta tha party, although I still dinna understand where he was 'afore an' how he got ta tha other side. Got lost while going ta battle, apparently. Khonar chuckles. Anyway, ye shou' send someone for their bodies or something. Someone may even be alive... as a slaves. An' I'm on vacation, ta hell all that. Sorry, pals, but Khon'Ur is not that type of character. I have a couple of paladins in the PFS, they would rather die than abandon their comrades. But this dwarf is closer to the anti-paladin, he is ready to take risks while there is a chance to win, but when there is none... He washes his hands of it.
