Sorry all i've been checking but i missed the next 10 or so game posts after my last post, no idea why they just weren't visible to me.

just to commiserate, I have totally had this happen and it's not just you. I had a GM ask me if I was going to post, and I responded well it's not my turn and no one has posted for days ... yeah :(

To confirm: Kendryl is using mithral combat cords which wrap around his fingers and fists to augment his IUA.

Kendryl bristles with positive energy as he leaps in to strike the creature and feints back out, standing by to heal the others if they're harmed in any way.

I'm here too ... needing to attack and I think also needing to heal Marcus.

While Kendryl wouldn't want one for the sake of having or using one, he'd absolutely want them saved. They're a testament to the city's protector who just perished and probably saved everyone who is here.

I'm not actually sure how many total people are in the developing caravan, but the scales could actually be more useful to the invalids at this point. It would be awesome to be able to tell them all to levitate out of a battle if we could.

But again, out of respect for Terendelev, who was one of the first people to actually talk to Kendryl and befriend him (and know where Jalmeray is), he would carry any surplus scales for the sake of carrying them.

Kendryl wouldn't want one, so they can go to other people.

She happily sees her friend and tears start to well up. She quickly says urging the words out before breaking down, "Kendryl... I was... I fell... the dragon blessed me I believe but as I slowed the debris did not. I was brought down with a door of some kind... I used my magic... all of my magic to stop the bleeding! I am mana drained and lame. I fear paralyzed. I... I..." You can tell she is barely holding it together now.

"We will get you out of here. We will get you up to the surface where you can be healed more fully. Do I need to heal you more now? Are you in pain?

Kendryl glances over at the others ...

"I think they've found another beast. That's not good"

She shifts in her stretcher to look at the group and she exclaims, "

Kendryl! Is that you?!"

"Yoko! I looked for you in the market ... but here you are. What happened to you!?"

The young man walks over the Yoko's stretcher; he probably would never have noticed her there is she hadn't spoken. He bends down on one kneww to speak to her.

Marcus glances at the claw wound on himself. "Nasty bug! I only had the one Cure spell prepared. But I do have a wand with some charges left. I take it nobody is a cleric that can channel healing energy? I have an ability that allows such to be focused to heal those that need it much more."

Tribal Cooperation with Passing Grace. Anyone not needing healing can redirect the points to anyone that does. And he has 19 charges left on his CLW wand.

Who has the scales? A person can only carry one or they won't work. https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75jchqd/gameplay&page=2#75 indicated 11 scales. ?? It also listed powers of four of the scales. Cloud walking(levitation), Disguise, Resistance, and Sacred Weaponry. Not sure of the rest. Round 4

Eshki and Ragnar take down the assassin vine!!!

The assassin vine’s death is slow and unsettling, nothing like the clean fall of an animal.

Its thick coils slacken first, the murderous tension bleeding out of them. Vines that once snapped tight around prey begin to tremble, then loosen, sliding to the ground with a wet, fibrous sound. Leaves darken from a hungry green to a bruised, mottled black, curling inward as if in pain.

A sour, loamy stench rises as its sap seeps out—dark and sticky, like old blood mixed with rot. The central stalk shudders one last time, thorns splitting and cracking as the plant collapses under its own weight. Any flowers or pods burst and shrivel, scattering lifeless husks across the earth.

In the end, it does not truly die so much as rot where it stands—becoming a tangle of limp vines and decaying flesh, already sinking back to the soil, as though the forest is reclaiming one of its more vicious secrets.

Please redirect your attacks for round 5!

Last I checked the small cockroaches AC was a 17. So I believe all three are still up.

Kendryl, I don't know what IUA is and am waiting on clarification.

Many of the assembled might have seen the young man before, in the markets or around the small shrine to Irori, noticible for both his Vudrani heritage, and how little he generally seemed to be wearing. If anyone here had even seen a body piercing, it was probably in Kaer Maga; suffice it to say, nothing about this young man was Varisian. He smiled ever so briefly at Byron. Kendryl

Ettiken could pick up Healing hex as well -- it could have been helpful in the current situation as more wounded keep showing up. At the moment I don't think we have anybody that can channel; aside from that there are no obvious holes aside from a broader variety of blasting spells.

Kendryl will have that by 4th actually, and while it's a few levels behind, it's better than wasting levels on multiclassing and he can channel a lot

A dedicated healer could be good. The Witch and Oracle can do some, but in a big group they may not want to spend all their time healing.

So I cooked for the new husband (who will also be a new American) but missed some of the above which I adore. I will say that my brussel sprouts and green beans (fresh, not campbells soup with dried onions) were both amazing. Reading Wolf's list, I will own that I would love a deviled egg right about now.

So do Xandarian's rainbow wings tuck in enough to be inconspicuous or are they just all hanging out like the X-man Angel. His wings (when they were feathery) could never tuck far enough away.

They def did not, and he actually used harnesses and trenchcoats in the early, pre-Defenders days, to try to look inconspicuous. It is one of the reasons why I think one of the Hawkman reboots allowed Katar to "grow" his wings; a lot like Wolverine's claws really.

The Last Aeromancer simply wants to be Air Marshal ... but could certainly fill the role of Magister if needed. The focus on higher learning is very Vudran (and I don't want us to have a deficit in Econ either)

Anyone who's ever lost a post because of the Paizo "backtracking" error, I highly recommend switching to Firefox, at least for your posting. It retains what you type in form fields, so if you click submit and a problem occurs, you can just click back and all your text is still there.

I'll be honest, solved that problem a while back with:

Thankfully though, hyper tension is super treatable once they find the right medications for you; in my case, it ended up being 3 of them, but they really do help. I've had respiratory issues as well :(

Jorrast starts to reach for a wand but stops about a foot short. "No. The wands should go to the actual casters. I can activate them, sometimes, better than half of the time anyway. But I'll use my own flying for short distances, and then find cover to hide in and snipe the enemies with acid. Or if I have to I'll use my rapier...."

All I have access to are arcane cantrips. I think that means I'd have to use UMD for the wands, +12. But my Flight hex gives me flying for 7 increments of one minute each.

I have no idea what lamp Jorne is talking about. I mean I know Sulvanii has a lamp but I don't understand how it could be an answer to his question.

All of sudden people were getting Elks.

I think it can be a both and situation. We are players who will contribute but we are also leaders of forces and have allies in play as well.

Though an air corps raid on camped army would also be a great thing. Its been a year and I have not given the GM my wishes list yet, but wands of fly, invisibility, fireball, and wall of fire are all under the gp price limit to wishes.

Interesting - I had thought 'we' were also meant to be the harassment. Given that the additional forces we have are all normal, while the modifiers will help them, they will push all of us over the top.

Now that Kendryl has the aricorp, I had intended him to bring them in as the snipers, because they can also be moved to new sniping positions rather than being rendered ineffective when the enemy has passed. But I had always intended for Kendryl to be the sky-bait as well.

This has war of attrition written all over it

I will finish a little more detail on the Air Corps today.

It is unlikely that this group will be expecting ANY long range support from above. A couple fireball wands should really help with the troll problem.

Then realizes that while he had recovered his composure Zsófia and the Prince had extended the conversation.... He continues standing, hoping to maybe just be ignored.

"Please do not be concerned Master Jorrast, it is just Kendryl, possibly Marshall some day which is much more formal. My family title hardly matters here, Jalmeray is far too far away. As are the Strix, but truly both Greenwatch and Jalmeray are more welcoming for sure. Might I ask how you came to speak Tengu though!? I will admit that I am intrigued."

Insult is a strong word, I had hoped it read more like poke fun. Although which of those it turned out to be would say a lot about demeanor. The interchange was pretty brilliant, thank you for that.

She involuntarily looks to the heavens in a moment of solemnity and then takes another bite of her meal.

She turns to regard the woman with the long chestnut hair. "You don't have to sit all the way over there, you know!" she calls out to her. "We don't bite. Well--" she gives the rest of the company a questioning look and continues, "Well, I don't. What's your name? Are you a member of our expedition also?"

There had been an ever so slight breeze across the room that seemed to ruffle the curtains at the window nearest Quince.
