GM: Fiendish rat has a climb speed of 20 and fire resistance 5. I don't know if the rat can make it all the way up, and I'm not sure it comprehends putting out the fire, but it can certainly try to go find it.
Also, sorry but I switched companions again. Eagle is in the Rats position for now.
