Wondering how this will effect all the Hero Lab purchases everyone has made of the first edition books? will they be updated at no charge or will we have to re-purchase all over again?

I know I have purchased a lot of books within the Hero Lab system and it would probably bankrupt me to have to re-purchase all of them. I am sure I am not the only one here in this situation.

I just tried to down load the files for the Advanced Class Guide my anti-viris came back saying there is a Trojan Horse imbedded within your files.
I am using Norton if that is something you need to know. I truly hope this is a mistake but , figured you should be informed of the situation.

Dear Folks at Paizo,
I still have not received my deadtree copy of the Mythic Adventures.
According to my subscription page it was shipped on the 14th of August with 4-8 days in route expected. I have never had a problem before so am confused to say the least. Gave it several extra days before contacting you just to be sure it just wasn't on the slow boat so to speak.
If you could look into this for me I would be grateful for all your help.

What about a book/article from someone on How to Design a Balanced Archtype ?

I swapped some work for a large scale printer. It can print full size posters and pictures. Is the process roughly the same?

Only reason I did the work was for the printer so I could do full size maps.

I can also print the maps on canvas. Have the ability just not the knowledge at this time.

When my son was littler he collected a bunch of those dollar store dinosaur sets. I use the plastic trees and rocks on maps for added visual impact.
Very cheap and adds dimension to any map.

I am running an 18th Level Dwarven Barbarian. He started at 3rd level and I have kept him going for the last 7 years. Have not done anything but the Barbarian Class.

His favorite quote: "MY AXE IS THE ANSWER !!!!!!" and it is.

Once he ran and slid between the front legs of a dragon, chopped his way in and then proceeded to hack his way out from the inside. (Much lower AC from the inside you know.)

All these plant type creatures could make for an interesting book.

That being said, impressive idea and well thought out.

Didnt have the funds to Kickstart, but am still VERY interested in acquiring the hard cover books and maps for tabletop play.

Am I correct in that this is a possibility down the road?

My question is where did you find those prices?
They seem really really low.

I use an Acer Aspire One netbook.
Lots of storage and fairly quick and around 225.00 if I remember right.

Screen size is 10.1 and it does all the things a regular laptop does in a small package. The full size keyboard is a real advantagge as my fingrs are fairly large.
All in all I like it better then the tablets I have seen.

I highly recommand the Beginners Box.

I am using it to introduce several of my sons friends to the game.
So far all is going well.

I print pages from the PDF in question and then have all the info needed for NPC's.

Been working on several different things to do with my newbies and all of the advice I have recieved here has been great to say the least.

In the future I will be sure to let all know how things happen.

I am GM-ing the BB for 3 brand new players and the BB Bash are about to be completed so does anyone have suggestions on were to go from here.

Party is smallish and I do not want to overwhelm the new players with too many rules.

I don't have a problem scaling adventures to fit but do not have a lot of time to do so.

So if anyone can suggest adventures that could work please let me know and thank you very much in advance.

Hey all,
My sons Lego sets based on Indiana Jones are very good for traps and such. There is the rolling log type trap and the ever popular boulder rolling down the ramp and filling the hallway trap.
Very fun and exciting to use.

If you put an iron on low and place a towel over the top of the flip mat it takes the fold lines very well.

Well several months have come and gone and still no reply from the missing Nick.

Contaacted PayPal and filed a complaint and they are now trying to contact this non-person.

From what I understand he has to keep his account open there so, hopefuly those requesting refunds still have a chance to recieve them, although I recommand you do not hold your breath.

This man has bilked money from lots of people using these very boards and has now ruined his reputation. This is a very sad state of affairs as he is/ was a very talented writer.

Personally I will never purchase another product with his name on it. Having said this I would also add that this saddens me.

Well long story short, the person has not replied to my requests for a refund.
I can only conclude he no longer cares about anything but himself.
The money I spent on his pre-orders will not be available to me to purchase other items from this amazing website. (Paizo)
I am truly sorry that this man ever captured my attention and STOLE my hard earned money.
I will never purchase ANYTHING with his name on it again, he is nothing but a scam artist.

Many people have defended him here and elsewhere, sorry if I have offended anyone, just had to vent.

There is this shelf liner stuff that is not sticky, but things dont slid around on it.
Looks like a grid and feels soft and spongy.
It is fairly cheap and comes in different size widths and colors.

Checked out the afore mentioned book and it has some of what I am looking for, but as always it raises more questions
Basically I am still looking for more maps of different sized ships, any recommandations?
PDF's or others, i already got a flipmat, but need a couple more for a large sea battle I have in mind.

Well here goes. My first request for help here.

PC's took an truly unexpected turn and are abut to receive a ship for their use.

I need advice on:

1. Cost of repairs and replacement pieces.
2. Rules on voyages.
3. Ship to ship combats.
4. Any flavor type ideas or where to find this.
5. Map ideas.
( I use as many flip-maps/ map-packs as I can get my hands on.)

My campaign is set in the City of Ptolus and is of APL 5.

Another month has passed, well almost passed and stil nothing.
No, Sorry reply, no refund and not even acknowledgement that my requests have been recieved by the ever elusive Nick.

By this time I feel buying anything with his name on it will not happen again and the sad part is I was a fan of his work.

This is my 4th request and still no reply or even an e-mail letting me know he even has recieved the requests.
Guess he is just too busy or does not even care that his X-FANS are getting feed up with the non-replys.

i am a fan of Nick's work, but was just asking for general info. on how refunds were being done.
This tangled mess is just that a tangled mess, hopefully it will all get strightened out to everyones satisfaction.

Dont be a mooch.

If you cant bring something to a game for a snack or some cold drinks
dont expect everyone else to supply you at every game night.

If you never bring money and the group orders pizza and wings, dont expect someone to pay your share all the time.

Plan ahead and save up a few bucks, even 3 or 4 is better then nothing all the time.

Yes, I do understand once in a while everyone forgets, I refer to the guy or gal who "forgets" everytime. everything from books, character sheets, to money, wallet, etc, always has a lame excuse.

In a previous edition of this wondrous game I had a matched set of throwing knives I named Sinister and Dexter. They would fly where I pointed. It was fun and I had several little quips I used when ever I could. These escape me now as it has been some time.

Not to my knowledge, I used to think his work was awesome, now I still do but, my estimate of the person himself? Not so good.
