However, I can say that Nick has repeatedly offered a refund to anyone who no longer wishes to wait. I have a feeling that may have gotten lost in the sauce. While I'm not involved in the running of the company Sinister Adventures in any way, am not a member of it, etc. etc. (I'm just a freelancer), I don't think anyone has to "eat a loss" on any pre-order.

Oh I hear you. I want those books too. I was just concerned that Carbon D. Metric worried that people would "...eat a loss." That would be unacceptable to me (and Nick) in every way. Figured he didn't know about Nick's notice around refunds.

If you want to stay up-to-date then this is the place to look.
A forum full of spammers doesn't inspire much confidence. I'd advise the people in charge to remove those posts as soon as possible.
Apparently, only Nick can do that ... and he should be advised of the situation by now, since this BS has been going on for a few weeks now.
Now, I can still (somewhat) deal with all the product delays, as I feel that they are in good hands now with Lou's involvement. But what I can't understand is how any webmaster could let his website decay like this ... I mean, it's not even an issue of Nick personally finding the time, he could just put someone in charge to a) clean up the forums, b) delete spam accounts, and c) improve registration security so that new spambots don't gain access to the site as easy as they did in the past.

I know there's been lots of discussion over lag in getting refunds from Nic, so I wanted to chime in and say I just got an email from Paypal that Nic sent my refund for Anarchist GameMaster Cookbook. I emailed him on April 1 with a copy of the original receipt for payment and a request for a refund, so it looks like he's responding to refund requests, even if it takes a little while to get to it.

Well long story short, the person has not replied to my requests for a refund.
I can only conclude he no longer cares about anything but himself.
The money I spent on his pre-orders will not be available to me to purchase other items from this amazing website. (Paizo)
I am truly sorry that this man ever captured my attention and STOLE my hard earned money.
I will never purchase ANYTHING with his name on it again, he is nothing but a scam artist.
Many people have defended him here and elsewhere, sorry if I have offended anyone, just had to vent.

Just as a FYI several people including Bill Webb of Frog God Games and Lisa Stevens of Paizo are trying to contact him about Razor Coast and stuff to try and see if they can get things resolved. Not saying hold your breath only giving you some information. You might want to check out the two Razor Coast threads for more information.
