Katachu, eidolon's page

"Kata!"

Katachu sighs and looks away from his partner.

perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

"KATA!"

"Ka-ta?"

"Chuu." says Katachu bowing his head solemnly.

Unlike all the other summons in his stable of friends, Katachu is Jimmothy's actual eidolon and therefore shares a link.

"Kata!"

Katachu leaps to the attack!

Flying tackle into the buffet! (Jimmothy's guidance): 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8

"Ka-ta." chirps Katachu brightly.

"Chuuu." Katachu growls darkly at Claremguard before darting off after his friend.

"Kata!" responds the cheerful eidolon. In his new collar, and after a good bath Katachu's carapace gleams like polished tile.

"Ka-ta." says Katachu in the affirmative.

"Chu!" chirps the happy-looking caterpillar.

"Chu." says Katachu, Jimmothy's arm-long, 8-legged, yellow-orange, electric catapillar, letting out a huge sigh.

"Chu." says Katachu wiping a huge sweat bead from his head.

"Kata-Chuuu?"

"KA-TA!" cries a concerned Katachu.

"KA-TAH!"

Katachu bites dog!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Well tries to, good thing these weren't three 1st-level balors. ;)

"Ka-tah." says the bug in a cheerful tone.

"Ka-ta?"

Sensing his friend's mood Katachu looks so sad he doesn't even seem interested in tasting Nanette anymore.

To which, Katachu wanders back avoiding eye contact with Nennette, says "Chu" (rather sulkily), and extends a pair of unusually dainty black hands to shake.

"Chu...." Katachu says looking disheartened.

Katachu looks hungrily at Nennette.

"Kata?"

does he take the gear with him when dismissed?

Good question. Eidolons are not exactly the same as a standard summons effect where you are I guess not usually allowed to summon a bunch of angels or archons with powerful magic weapons ask them to see said weapon, then dismiss them and sell said weapon for cash. It is not really addressed anywhere in the texts that I can find, but James Jacobs had this to say on the subject.

"A-chu!" **sniff** sneezes Katachu.

Katachu pats its segmented thorax bulges with its four forepaws, and shrugs a quartet of shoulders in a show of embarrassment.

"Chuuu." says the deflated eidolon.

"Kata?" says the cute, bellsprout- leshy-sized, bright, yellow caterpillar thing next to Jimmothy. It has eight legs in all; four up front near its head, and another four near its tail end. It flicks a small pink tongue out to lick its cute, but complicated mouthpieces upon seeing the small plant person.

"Ka-ta!"

"Chu." says the cute yellow monster standing next to the boy while nodding sagely.

"Chu...." says a seemingly dispirited Katachu.

"Ka-ta." agrees the cheerful pocket-sized monster.

"Chu." says the disheartened caterpillar-thing.
