He removes his helm for the first time since you met him. His face is ugly, his nose crooked and his ears are ragged and look like they have been chewed. There is a series of linear and oval bruises that wraps his throat. Can anyone close this wound?

I guess he figures adults like Nurse Joy handle that stuff. Assuming we have the time Jimmothy resummons Katachu a minute after Slywinder disappears.

Heading back down to the third floor Brog uses the key to open the door.

Two stone altars, one black and one white, sit at either end of this large chamber, which takes up two wings of the tower on this level. The crumbling remains of wooden benches sag in front of each altar beneath rotting ceiling tapestries. Carved symbols and writings snake along the walls. The burnt corpses of two troglodytes lie on the floor in the center of the room.

DC 10 Knowledge (religion):
This looks to be a temple dedicated to Nethys, the god of magic, in both of his aspects: protection and destruction. The writings on the walls are quotes from Nethys’s holy book.

This space is not without its dangers, though. There are two skeletons, wreathed in... fire? They're facing the doorway you've just opened, but have yet to move. They each hold a broken scimitar and stare, empty-eyed.

Jimmothy and Katachu rush into the room as Cheswisk releases a magical missile into the skeleton. It breaks right through the ribcage. Kam releases a blast of fire into the skeleton and it seems to have zero effect on it.

M grabs ahold of her morningstar remaining on the defensive while Brog's flail bursts the skeleton apart in a fiery explosion.

Fiery death Damage (Brog): 1d6 ⇒ 5 DC 11 reflex for half.

Ryka steps in, releasing a wave of holy energy into the remianing skeleton.

Will Save for Half: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

The remaining skeleton bursts apart in another fiery death as the holy energy burns away at it.

The altars still contain their silver altar services, worth 100 gp altogether, as well as two silver holy symbols of Nethys. In addition, a divine scroll rests atop each altar: a scroll of shatter on the black altar, and a scroll of shield other on the white altar.

That won't actually help against swarms if they move over you. Though maybe you could just hold the curtain closed. It will be a tragic loss--Kam and Brog I mean, but life goes on. Well! Brog dives to the ground to try and protect himself as he bleeds. Cheswick sends a magic missile into the swarm, while it takes out a single bat it doesn't seem to overall affect the swarm at all.

M gets out of the way as the group scatters as Balenar calls out to Brog. "Get out of there! They will eat you alive!"

Kam sends another blast into the swarm, but it ends up being well outside the tower as the man works on his accuracy. Ryka tries to keep Brog on his feet.

@Jimmothy- Normally a readied action is followed by some sort of circumstance such as I ready an attack if the enemy comes within range or I ready to shut the door if all my allies make it to the other side. This occasion I know you don't wish to shut Brog in with a swarm but keep that in mind.

Jimmothy gets ready to slam the doors on the bats as he escapes the situation leaving most of his companions behind.The bats swarm through the door, biting at both Brog and Ryka.
