wow I actually thought I had a chance with an arcane caster.

oh well back to the shadows with Kara.

batting 0 for three so far this time around for getting into games.

I would recommend any NON-arcane character...

A couple more things.

To those of you wondering, please take the average amount of starting gold for your class.

@Kara- What are those Shadow Advocate people that you associate with? Would you use them as a resource?

they are a custom organization with no real significance. not any more valuable than a group of kids calling themselves a club. it is really a group of gnomes in hiding except that they share the same affinity toward shadow magic. they would not be used as a resource unless you wanted to include them. Once Kara begins the adventure they are nowhere to be found "so to speak"

Sorry, Kara. Yes, you begin with scribe scroll, and yes you can begin with scrolls that you've scribed, but doesnt it cost money?

yes I just use what I have in starting gold. it isn't much for level 0 or level 1 spells.

any answer on my question? kind of waiting to finish the submission.

question since I am working on a wizard

1. do wizards begin with scribe scroll or use PFS rules and gain spell focus instead.

2. if I do keep scribe scroll can I begin with scrolls that I scribed.

hey there was thinking of applying here probably the same character that didn't make it into your tomb of horrors game (since it hasn't been used since that application.

I did, because it's a pretty tough dungeon :D. I'm not saying it's BAD hax, just that it's really hax and I can see why the synthesist is banned most of the time.

that is cool If Kara is selected since she was originally made for that AP then it died.

Hey guys, I looked over this stuff here and this vial has some stuff to make your weapon like cold iron for a bit. helps fake out those evil fey types. Not the cool ones like us gnomes

Kara examins the two items to discern thier purpose and what any of the magical auras mean.

Spellcraft the wooden token: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Spellcraft The Vial: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

KAra looks over the stuff found. a quick detect magic to see if anything is magical

concerning the vial: if it does not radiate any magic then she examines to see if it is safe to open.

if it is "brandy" then Kara better taste it (read - half the bottle) just to be sure it really is good brandy, don't want to give anyone bad brandy, that would be disresectful

Kara goes up to one with a stick and starts to poke at it.

These a re called...mites? she asks poking it a few more times.

excuse me... sir? I couldn't help but notice you seem well ahhhh how can I say it...ready for a war or something. Is there a war? I hope you don't mean to go to war with the gnomes, I mean they are very peaceful folk and I really doubt that they would really cause anyone any trouble.

Ohh I'm sorry, how silly of me, my name is Kara gnome of Whistledown
she extends her tiny hand to greet the man.

Kara arrived at the city her eyes wide with amazement. the buildings, the people everywhere. she seemed so insignifcat compared to all the others.

She wandered the streets for several hours taking in all the sights and smells. she exitedly ran to a street vendor selling some sort of meat on a stick. quickly buys a couple she sooned moved on eating her snack and catching some street performers.

This place is amazing far more interesting than anyplace I've been to before she says to nobdy in particular.

finally she finds herself a small local eatery and decides to stop in for a more blanced meal at least better than that whatever it was on a stick Tastes like chicken

As she goes to eat, Kara catches sight of a piece of paper that somebody apparently dropped.

she folds it up and places it in her bag and sits to enjoy her meal.

OK I have no clue where anyone is, the map is just one big error statement.

Kara will remain hidden next to Fizzy ready action to use color spray on the horses pulling any wagon to stop it and further provide a bottleneck at the bridge.

stealth 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
color spray save DC is 16

kara just stands by Fizzy nods in agreement arms crossed trying to look big when he says big guy then looks tough when he says tough guy then just shrugs when he settles on Guy and nods again in sgreement

Kara grabs some food for the trip but does not bother with the butter on the face.

Kara breaks off a piece of bread and takes a wipe of butter from fizzy's face and has a bite

I swapped out vanish for colorspray for Kara's prepared spells for the day. any thoughts spell preps?

Kara is pleased to find a small pouch of coin for her she smiles at Fizzy as she comes to have a bite to eat for breakfast. silently thanking him for the coin. (possibly leaving others to wonder for what else)

I was always taught that its not the name that makes the hero but the deeds. the name will come from the people based on the deeds we accomplish. You really think we became shadow gnomes because we sat in a room and decided a name?

Kara just sits and watches Fizzy do his thing (and making sure he does not do anything stupid regarding the "competition")

after Fizzy introduces her Kara goes to greet the new gnome.

After the intro Kara sniffing the air makes her way to the bread and digs in taking each piece breaking it in half eating one half and pocketing the other.
