There have been several seemingly dead ends but I am not ready to give up yet. Not all mysteries are easy to solve, although Kal is not the best character to try and solve them unless it involves breaking something :]. I agree that we should try a couple of divinations and maybe hit the streets again. We haven't really tried anything except for asking around and got ourselves into trouble for it. We can set a trap, continue to search for recent missing person's...much more paths to follow. Let's get the spells, try them out and go from there, it can't hurt. Ready to keep going. And don't worry about being a central character...I am playing in quite a few PBP's and am a central character in several so I wanted to pick a character who wouldn't take the stage as much for a change, so keep going, I enjoy it at least and the longer you know Kal the more he will probably interact when the opportunity presents itself.

Agreed, holy warriors are good fighters, but like me they don't have the keenest eyes. Let's go check. Then maybe we should get good days rest and go see priests.

So far I think we made two initial mistakes: 1. We split up.
We know two things by now. They think us a threat. Bungo may be able to tell us some useful facts or clues.

Kal is waiting on Bungo to tell us what happened to him. To be honest though with 8 int he is not going to have many ideas and would be looking for the rest of you to point him in the right direction, tes I will be playing his 8 int! :] Bungo, you are alive!! he grabs the little man and shakes him a little in glee, I was sure we would not find you...or if we did it would be your little corpse. Where have you been and what happened to you! After any feedback from Bungo. We should rest and start to look into this again. When they see we are not giving up they will probably move against us as well. As long as they start the fight...we can finish it!

And here Kal had a fool-proof way of getting you out...it starts with Kal building a large wooden Badger...they will never see what hit them... Vote for skip ahead, Kal is going to be beside himself that you guys are in trouble and he can't protect you, he may end up doing something foolish..

The biggest issue was attacking the other group without provocation...so far they had not broken any laws, they were just acting suspiscious and you attacked them killing one. As far as they are concerned, if they are even the same group that kidnapped Bungo, they can possibly get you out of the way by just having you put in prison at this point. To Kal's point a random man appears and says he is arresting 3 of his group based upon his namesake....he can expect some backtalk :)

The big man considers killing the man just for his arrogance...but he knows this is his Orc blood calling to him. In the end his hammer droops to his side resting on the floor.

This is wrong! Kal bellows, These are probably the same men who have been kidnapping people around here and they attacked us to slow down our investigation or take us!
Kal small mind starts to wir, possibly causing more issues...
Sorry, there is no way Kal is going to let him be taken away on some strangers word. I would hope that a legitimate official would understand that...especially with all of the people disappearing around here. But maybe not we will see.

+1 on Haste.
Walls of "X" are also good to split up enemies and line of sight.

Throw a couple of spells on Kal and then stay behind him...your touch of rage every once in a while would be pretty devastating...enlarge would be a nice one for someone to have but I did pick up a few potions just in case.

I was just curious about party strength's/weaknesses and noticed that the fighter has the best willpower save in the group by a large margin. In fact most of the group has like a +6 to +8 on their save. It's going to be relatively easy for enemy clerics and wizards to disable most of you in combat as we found out from Bungo's experience.

Kal arrives without Bungo at the Inn later that evening.

Ouch, you are now less intelligent than Kal... Kal stands in the middle of the busy thoroughfare, his patience settling in. He get's a number of odd looks just standing there like a statue but he doesn't budge.

After several rounds he calls out when no one comes into the alley, Bungo, where are you? when he get's no reply he curses and moves back into the street and looks for any sign of them. With his limited skills he decides his best course of action is to stay where he is and wait for the moment looking for signs of being watched. Take a 20 for a total of a 27...still won't spot them but he doesn't know that.

Kal shakes his head...you know the man to be a little dense but has seemed to have a lot of street smarts in the past, We should find the others and coordinate finding why someone is following us. You also know that if you throw a lot of details at the brute he has a tendency to agree... Just an FYI, I am trying to add a little depth to an 8 INT fighter...so I will probably throw up some of this stuff periodically since we are supposed to know each other.

Kal just assists Bungo if possible, pointing ou anything he sees as well. Kal only has crush information from the enemy...so no help to Bungo there :)
