I might be mistaken but I believe you can get only one chronicle for Filament with credit for the first three quests that are now completed. Then you would have to switch to a different character if you want to finish the last two quests. Or you can continue with Filament but receive no credit for the last two quests. I think this is the case due to the 'one chronicle per scenario per character' rule.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that shot did not yet cause critical damage. The ship's critical threshold is 11 and if we took 20 points of damage, then 10 was applied to the shields and 10 to our hull - just 1 point shy of critical damage. Of course, the next hull hit will definitely trigger critical damage... "Woah!! Guys, think we can hit them back just as hard??"
