the town of Torch has put out the call for adventures and brave souls. The bright purple flames that erupt from the center of town, power its skymetal forges, and give the town it's name have been extinguished. The town council has sent numerous expeditions in to the strange metal ruins found below the town, but none have returned. As you answer the call for more souls, you are told to meet at the town hall. There you are greeted by a old dwarven woman, her white hair secured in looping braids behind her worn face. Gold earrings and rings are matched with a blue and gold dress that barely hides the muscles that years of working the forges have given her. She leans on a bright warhammer, clearly also made of some skymetal. She looks over the newest would be saviors and mutters, "We may be scrapping the bottom of the barrel here" and then louder and more directly at you "Ahh, so glad you could all make it, as Torch is in need of your help. Tell me who you are and then we can get down to the business of what we need done and what the pay is."
Hi all, I am hoping to run a Iron Gods play by post, looking for four players. I have run the first volume in person, but this will be my first PbP gm experience. I would like to pick my players based on their characters, build creativity, and backgrounds So Character creation rules: 20 point buy, all classes except anti-paladin and pre unchained summoner. All Paizo archetypes are legal. Races: Core races plus Assimars, Teiflings, Android, Kobold, Vanara, and Tengu. I am also open to Gnoll if the concept is interesting. 150gp to start, two traits plus one extra if a drawback is selected (which I will use to my advantage muhahaha). If I missed any information you need, please ask away. Good luck and looking forward to getting this going
Hi there Pathfinders, your Venture Lieutenant for Kenosha WI here. This Saturday, I will be running all of the Emerald Spire (or at least as much as we can in 24 hours) for the Extra Life Charity. So if you can make it to the Board Game Barrister in Greenfield, WI, please join us. If not, if you would like to donate you can do so at the link below. And wish me luck, as I will be GMing all 24 hours straight. http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&p articipantID=168118
Hi all, I am traveling to London in about a weeks time, and having been there over 14 times I have done all the tourist stuff. I would like to meet some locals and hopefully get some gaming in. I usually GM so would be fun to play but if a group needs a gm I'm more than happy to step up. So any games going on in the London area Nov 10-15. Thanks for the info
So, Gen Con has come and gone, some thoughts my friends and I had on the way home. First off, thanks to everyone who played, I have only been a GM for a little over a year and had a blast running all these games. And a big thanks to all the Paizo staff for making volunteering such an easy and rewarding experience. I also was able to squeeze in a couple of games as a player and would like to suggest one thing for next year. I would like the ability to nominated a "Players Choice" Gm for Gen Con, as a reward for those who make Gen Con such a special experience. Would love some feedback on this idea. |
