Male Human Cleric/1

fine with me

Male Human Cleric/1

With a weak smile Jondar nods to Anna and says, "Pharasma, has decided to punish me for my overindulgence, but let it not be said that Jondar Millner unable to perform his duty because of drink. I'm ready to begin as soon as I get food in my belly."

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar will use up all leftover spells to heal the party before he gets too drunk to do anything other than pass out.

The next morning Jondar wakes up thinking, I don't remember my bed being this hard....oh my head...... Slowly he opens his eyes to the morning light and finds himself lying on the floor of his room. Apparently he didn't make it to his bed but he did manage to shut the door behind him.

Slowly he stands and stumble over to the wash basin still feeling the affects of the brandy he drank last night. He pour water from the picture into the basin and washes his face. Glancing around the room he find his flask of brandy and takes a swig before kneeing to start his devotion to Pharasma.

Once finished with his prayers Jondar stands and heads downstairs to met the others and begin their hunt for bandits.

He nods to Chardak and Nesteruk when he see them in the taproom and crosses the room to join them. "Good morning my friends." he says as he sits at their table. He motions for the innkeeper and orders breakfast.

Male Human Cleric/1

"Brandy will be fine.", he says with a warm smile as he calls upon the power of Pharasma to heal the man's injuries.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar makes his away to the bar as soon as he enters the inn and ask the barkeep to fill his flask, which he places on the bar. He thanks the the tavern keeper and pays her before joining the others to split the goods. He asks for the breastplate and three bolts to replace the ones he lost in combat. When no one disagrees he sits back, watching and listening to the conversation between Chardak and the traveler.

When he hears Chardak mention a man who can heal Jondar stands and walks over to them. With a nods he says, "My name is Jondar a faithful of Pharasma. I will certainly heal your injuries whether you join us or not. I only ask that you spread the word the Pharasma has blessed you with her healing gift." Jondar says with a broad smile. "And a drink would not hurt as well."

Male Human Cleric/1

Thanks for the breastplate and yes I'll take 3 more crossbow bolts. I'll throw my studded leather armor into the pile to be sold.

Male Human Cleric/1

lol, I would probably lose. :)

Male Human Cleric/1

If Chardak doesn't take the Breastplate Jondar will take it.

Male Human Cleric/1

If no one is going to claim the breast-plate Jondar will take it.

Male Human Cleric/1

"Excellent, then we shall go to the Widow's Tankard and find this Ronigan. Then we'll divide up the loot and make plans for tomorrow." Jondar stands nods to the Mayor, "Mayor." and turns and walks out the door heading for the Window's tankard.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar nods and says, "Perhaps we should go somewhere else to divide up the spoils and discuss or next course of action."

Male Human Cleric/1

"I'm willing to take a look into the bandit problem.", Jondar says to Nesteruk.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar looks to the others and wonders, Is this man really that stupid not to get the hint.

"Well, I can't speak for my friend but I need to clean up and get something to drink. Unless you have some other task that requires heroes." , he says with a smile as he stands to leave.

Male Human Cleric/1

"Well, I wouldn't call our group an overwhelming force but we got the job done.", Jondar says with a chuckle. "Now about that drink you mentioned Mayor..." Jondar looks at the mayor with a raised eyebrow hoping he gets the hint.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar inspect the stick handed to him by the mayor and assumes its the wand of cure light wounds promised before they left town and stows it away for later inspection. He looks around for something to drink before he sits down at the table. Once the others sit he says, "We found a cave a day walk from here where your wife and the child were being held by orcs and half-orcs. We lost one member during the assault on the cave, but fortune was with us and we made a tactical retreat. That night while recovering from initial assault a patrol came along and that was when Lyle joined us. The next morning we made a second attempt and were much more successful. We defeated all the inhabitants of the cave and rescued your wife and the child." He glances around the table at the others and says, "Did I miss anything?" He looks to the mayor and asks, "You wouldn't have something to drink by any chance?"

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar seems a little surprised by the taldan's comment. His wife has been rescued and he'll see us shortly. Strange. "Strange reaction to finding the mayor's wife and the missing girl don't you think?", Jondar whispers to his friends.

Male Human Cleric/1

"Well, let us see the mayor my friends and these two to their respective families.", says Jondar as he walks through the gates of the town.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar smiles down at the little girl and says, "Thank you little one and you were very brave little girl when we found you."

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar places a hand on Chardak's shoulder and says, "You and Nesetruk both fought well and in the service of Southwatch. I count both of you as companions and friends. If they shun you both they shun me as well, but I think we all will be greeted as the heroes we are. Tonight we shall feast and raise drinks to our fallen comrade Symas."

Male Human Cleric/1

[b]"Agreed, let us return to town.", Jondar says.

Male Human Cleric/1

"Maybe someone from town came and took the body back to be buried.", Jondar says, "but it's strange he or she would drag the body and not put it on a horse or cart."

Male Human Cleric/1

"Well, I guess we should gather up the rest of the spoils and escort these ladies to town for a hot meal and a warm bath. I know I could use one myself and my flask as run dry and that is almost too much for me to bare." Jondar says as he tussle the girl's hair.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar seeing the tied up girl and quickly rushes over to help her. "Oh, dear. Are you alright my child? My name is Jondar and these are my friends. We are here to rescue you.", he says as he kneels before her to untie her bonds. Once they are untied he gives her a drink of water from his waterskin and offers her some jerky.

He glances over his shoulder to the others and says, "I think we she get these two to safety before to go any further."

Male Human Cleric/1

Seeing that the results of his healing were minimal Jondar calls upon Pharasma again.

Male Human Cleric/1

Sorry for the delay in posting. Bad weekend.

Jondar surveys the battlefield and walks over to check on Chardak. "Looks like you could use Pharasma's touch again my friend. Thanks Pharasma you didn't lose this arm. I wouldn't be able to help with that unfortunately.", he says as he grasps his holy symbol and calls upon his goddess for her healing kiss.

Jondar moves to D5 and casts CLW on Chardak.

Seeing the badly wounded Chardak charge into battle. Jondar decides it is best to heal his ally and moves to a safe position behind him and Karthan.

"Pharasma, heal my ally!", he says in a loud voices while holding his holy symbol. The holy symbol in his left hand begins to glows and then fades as his right hand glows he touch Chardak on the back passing Pharasma's healing power to his ally.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Shield of faith is Jondar's last first level spell.

Male Human Cleric/1

I just made up the name didn't think about where it came from but could say that Jondar's great grandfather was a miller and changed his name to Millner.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jnodar nods and follows Chardak as he readies his crossbow.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar sees the last half-orc fall to the ground and with a nod of satisfaction he says, "Much better result this time my friends, Pharasma has truly blessed this endeavor. I will call upon her to heal those that are wounded, but unfortunately our enemies could be healed unless we move them far enough away from me."

Once the half-orcs or Chardak has been moved to a good location Jondar calls upon his mistress for her healing energy. The familiar warmth blossoms in his chest and radiates out healing all those within range. As the warmth fades Jondar signs and opens his eyes with a smile he says, "I'm ready to continue when the rest of you are ready."

Jondar glances down at Chardak, sees that he is stable and moves to the other side of Anna D11. Once in position he levels his crossbow and draws a bead on the half-orc and lets fly a bolt.

Attack: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 ⇒ 14

No sure I can shoot because I cast CLW on Chardak. If not then I'll ready my light crossbow for an attack next round.

Damn that was a wasted crit

Male Human Cleric/1

Yeah,me too. I have a house rule that allows the rerolling of 1s except for d20 rolls and you are only allowed to reroll 1s the first time. If you roll a 1 on your reroll you are stuck with it.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar uses spontaneous casting and converts his protection from evil into a cure light wounds which he casts on Chardak.

Jondar sees his comrade fall to the ground and in a loud voice says, "Pharasma, your servant calls for your aid. Heal my comrade." Warm spreads in his chest and down his arms as he reaches forward to touch Chardak. Upon touching his ally Jondar releases Pharasma's healing energy.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

WTF!!!! Sorry guys. :( It appears we are cursed with bad luck when it comes to dice rolls.

Male Human Cleric/1

oh, I thought the list GM_Wu posted was already in order. My bad.

Male Human Cleric/1

Sorry, I was waiting for everyone else to post their actions before I posted Jondor's.

Jondor sees Chardak take aim on a half-orc D3 and targets the same one firing his crossbow.

attack: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar has his light crossbow out.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondor says a brief prayer to Pharasma and then says to the group, "I'm ready to proceed."

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar smiles at Nesteruk and says, "Pharasma is with us and has provided us with aid in the form of a companion. We will succeed this time as it is Pharasma's will."

Male Human Cleric/1

My post got eaten. :(

Jondar walks up to stand next to Karthan and whispers, "We could use another to aid us in recovering the mayor's wife." Jondar looks to Lyle and says, "My name is Brother Millner a servant of Pharasma. Well, Mr. Shortwick we are in the middle of a rescue mission so if you come with us you'll have to assist us at least until we return to Southwatch. I hope are not opposed to taking orders from strangers."

Pharasma always provides for her faithful. Hopefully Mr. Shortwick will bring us luck.

As Jondar watches the halfling's reaction he reaches down and pull the flask of brandy from his belt and takes a swig before returning it to his belt.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar will prepare the same spells and will cast a cure light wounds on Karthan

Male Human Cleric/1

No objection here

Male Human Cleric/1

We could use a little luck right about now.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar frowns when he notices the female orc smile at the sight of the crow. He walks over and says, "Why are you smiling at seeing that crow?" He looks over to Anna and says, "Could it be possible that their is an orc shaman in there and that is it's familiar? I don't know much about arcane magic but I have heard that shaman and the like have magical familiars."

Jondar uses sense motive when the orc answers.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Male Human Cleric/1

"I still can feel Pharasma's divine energy in me. Shall I call upon her aid once more? Then we can try to save the woman and hopefully the girl you are looking for Chardak.", says Jondar as he inspects Karthan's wounds. He looks to the others to see what they have to say about the situation.

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar appears saddening by the news that Symas fell in the battle and says a prayer to Pharasma. He notices that Karthan is still grievously wounded and walks over to him. "Looks like you could use some more of Pharasma's divine energy." he says in a sad voice. Jondar reaches up and take a hold of his holy symbol and calls upon Pharasma to heal his allies.

Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 1

DAMN!!!

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar rolls over and pushes himself up onto his knees with a groan and slowly gets to his feet. He looks at the others and see that more healing is needed; with a prayer to Pharasma the heal wave ripples out from him. He sighs in relief feeling Pharasma divine power flows through him.

GM_Wu can I use channel energy without being knocked unconscious?

Male Human Cleric/1

Jondar mutters, "Pha..rasma your servant is ready to be judged." When Anna gives him water he seems startled and says, "Maria is that you? Where is Sel....." His vision clears and he sees Anna and says, "Sorry, I thought I was in Pharasma embrace. Thank you for the water and saving my life. I am in your debt." He groans as leans forward to drink some offered watered. "How are the others?", he asks Anna.

Male Human Cleric/1

okay
