Johan stops his singing (but the song lingers in the air continuing to inspire his comrades). He then thrusts with his rapier. (Inspire Courage and flanking)

Inspire Courage: +1 to Attack and Damage, +1 to Saves vs Charm or Fear effects
Johan, still singing, does a double move to get opposite the beast from Tom
Johan starts to sing inspiring his compatriots to greater actions.
Johan will also turn and is ready to attack with his rapier.
With rapier drawn, Johan will follow Raven and seach in the room(s). "I got your back, Raven. But be careful"
Johan gets a good night rest and wakes feeling slightly better. After a good good breakfast he feels ready to proceed. Following the others through the trap doors and secret doors he is amazed to see the underground body of water.
"What is this place? I thought that the worship of Calistria was outlawed!"
Sorry for the absence, was out of internet service all weekend, then have been having to catch up on stuff.

Does anyone recognize these scrolls? I am fine with Raven getting the bow Tom getting the armor. I am not that interested in the cloak so whoever would like it is fine. We should get a pretty penny for the pearls
Johan moves to help Rexas and passes the crates on to the others.
Johan moves around the pool to Raven's door...
Johan also searches around the room (if it's not too crowded).

Johan shakes his head to clear the cobwebs. Finding the rats dead, he asks Raven "OK, what happened? The last thing I remember I skewered one of these things... "

"I can give us some light" He casts a simple light spell on a pebble or small piece of wood, which brightens the area. "Should I toss this down?"
"The chain is a good idea. My name's Johan, by the way. You may have seen me on stage at the Opera House." He will continue to sing until the large dog is secured. The beast should remain fascinated for another 2 rounds.
Johan nods her agreement with Xeno and motions to the others to search

Finally, a chance to get some answers... Looking to Raven to make sure she agrees, Johan says "If you have a plan to find out what has happened to the missing people and to return things to some semblance of normalcy, Raven and I are with you" Knowledge nobility for Johan as well.

With the Thugs running away, Johan attempts to help Raven with the injured victim. "Maybe he has some information about what this was really about...."
Hopefuly taking advantage of Thug 2 being dazed, Johan attacks with his rapier:
Finally fed up with what has been going on, Johan advances on the thug with the mace and attacks with his rapier."For Kintago!"
Johan also takes the opportunity to leave with Raven. "So what was the point of that, do you think?" he asks her...
Johan moves to interpose himself between Raven and any of the CCG threatening her. He readies an attack action and immediately attacks if they come in range. "Stay behind me, Raven!" he shouts.
Oh, also. I am travelling this weekend so my posts may be erratic. I should be able to post no problem, I'll just have a weird schedule. Helping run the Junior Olympics fencing tournament.
I find it very amusing that with EVERY character I play, the name somehow gets changed (ask Raven). To be clear, the name is Johan (although I will probably answer to Jonah from now on as well :) )
Johan moves up again and starts exhorting the crowd again. ”The only way we can make our voice heard is if we stand together! We cannot fight amongst ourselves if we hope to get our city back.”
In the crowd, Johan hears the call for unity and adds his own. ”She is right! We cannot allow this to continue! Look at what has already happened. Insane proclamations, martial law… Look at what happened to Shensen! We must act together if we want to save our city!
”I have to believe so, Raven” Johan replies. ”It’s been my home for so long. Did you see those idiotic proclamations? We can’t drink tea after sunset? Really?"

1 Johan grew up as a backstage rat, the son of a performer. 2. He learned swordfighting from a master who ended his career teaching the finer points to the actors at the opera house. 3. His fencing master left suddenly, just as Johan was feeling he was becoming competent 4. He has become a sort of protege to Shensen, who helped him land his first big role (which he cannot perform since the Opera House has been taken over). 5. He has struck up a close friendship with Raven Silvertongue, who unsuccessfully tried to pickpocket him after one performance. He managed to get her a job backstage so she doesn't have to steal anymore (at least not all the time). goals:
1. Find Shensen, avenge her if necessary 2. Perform a major role in an opera at the opera house. 3. Find out what happened to his fencing master, Ciamataro. secrets:
1. Johan has a huge crush on Raven, that she doesn't know about. 2. Master Ciamataro works for Barzillai Thrune. associates:
The obvious ones are Raven Silvertongue, Shensen and Master Ciamataro, but also would include the backstage manager, Conrad. memories: 1. The first time he saw Raven, when she tried to pickpocket him. 2. The first touch he finally got on his master. 3. The feeling he had when he found out he had landed his first big role.
Raven Silvertongue and I would be honored.
