Vinnie....you just stared down a freaking Shemhaizian and gave it the mom voice...I cant imagine your character will ever surpass that lol!

Ionwe shakes off the paralyzing gaze of the massive demon in the room, and tumbles over to the oppresed wrecker demon, giving a it a strong blow with her cutlass.

Things have been very busy with me for the time being. I will try to make an update tonight. DM you are more than welcome to BOT me, I will simply be doing what I can to kill the demon on the console, and then defend it.

Ionwe continues to focus on the panel and places her charged crystal into it.

I know I have the full crystal that Fatima dropped at the door. I do not know of the others.

"We still need more charged crystals, I believe we only have one currently."

Ionwe tries to tumble up to the console, and slashes at the demon there with her cutlass.

Bleeding profusely, she quickly looks passed the demon at the console, making sure to avert her gaze from the larger demon.

"We need the crystals! We also need someone who can operate this thing! Get up here!"

Hey guys, just an FYI, the large demon your fighting, the Shemhaizian, is a CR16. Its a boss in Wrath of the Rightous. We are NOT fighting through that in the amount of time we have.

"Just get the weapon charged and activated!"

Don't worry, the DM will be back, they are just a bit busy with some life stuff currently. I just met up with them last night. They have also had a hard time particularly with the humble bundle site melt down.

My bow should have Hardness 9 and 25HP, Planar is a +1 enchantment for a total +2 enchantment bonus for magic weapon hardness/hp total. Still trashed though lol.

As she tried moving passed the massive demon, it strikes her in the side and she grimaces at the blow, only to then feel the wave of negative energy wash over her. 46 dmg to her total so far it looks like.

Finally getting near the top of the stairs, she spits some bloody phlegm to the side she looks up to see the pick of the demon drive down into her bow.

Looking down at the mangled bow, Ionwe drops it to the ground cursing and quickly drawing her cutlass, she lashes out furiously at the creature.

"You strike down a captains favored weapon?! I will see your guts cut from ye!"

Ionwe continues running up the stairs, into the reach of the massive demon. Looking at the wrecker at the panel, she waves her cutlass at it, "Take that nasty beast down!"

Move action to do Freebooters Bane on the Wrecker Demon, all weapon attacks and damages to the creature is increased by +2!
Shemhazian gets an AOO on me from running through its first threatened area.

"In the name of Inheritor...Why did you drop a charged crystal?" Ionwe shouts, bending down to pick up the charged crystal from the ground and quickly begins rushing up the stairs.

"You can discuss plans, and check for traps all you want. I will not give the pleasure of time to the demons." Ionwe says, drawing her cutlass, she will try to open the door to the northern room, and rush inside.

"How do we give it the energy to funciton??"

Ionwe releases another load of arrows into the creature, trying pick away at its incorporeal body.

Please dont forget! Everyone gets +2 to attack and damage from weapons!

Ionwe feels the power of the command wash over her, freezing her momentarily before she manages to push through it.

"What manner of foul creature is this?" she yells as she raises her cutlass towards the creature.

"Cut this thing down!" she exclaims, and then drops her cutlass, quickly drawing her bow and letting loose an arrow.

Stepping off the portal pad, Ionwe slings her bow and draws her cutlass, making sure the buckler strapped to her arm is secure. Looking around the room, she says "I suppose a forge within this tower would make sense, but do we know where exactly we are? If we are even still in the tower?"

She looks for a window or a map.

"Bound to eternal servitude to those long dead is a terrible fate indeed. Perhaps the removal of the weapon can release you, or if not, then we could find some wizard to undo the bindings. Your vigil need only last a short while longer. I promise you that."

Looking around the room she continues, "Teleportation circle you said? Where is it, and do you know its destination?"

Diplo Aid: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

"What my compatriots say is true, there is also an offensive of the demonic creatures trying to take this weapon. The sooner we can activate it, the better."

"I feel as if this is one of those moments of "pride over brains"? Vinnie, you know you can simply explain where you wish the dials and those not affected by this trap can turn the lever. Unless of course you enjoy the pain, in which case I do not judge, simply suggest." Ionwe grins.

Chuckles and nods to Tomas, "Would it not have been easier to simply pull out the holy text then? I would imagine Iomedeas holy text would have had at least mention of the 11 Acts."

Watching as the door lever is pulled, she blinks as the blue light washes over them and looks around.

"Perhaps the trap was a dud? Hmmm...so we have 4 lines, each with 4 dials, are we splitting up the lines of text perhaps? Putting them in order of their Acts?"

"Perhaps bringing a paladin, or cleric of Iomedea with us would have been prudent." Ionwe says, leaning her bow against the wall as she relaxes, looking around the dungeon room.

"First major problem, and we get stumped."

I use the wiki and yea Council of Thieves I believe.

Blargh! I hate having out of character knowledge but no incharacter knowledge. I know the Acts!!

Checking the door, Ionwe will also look at the inscriptions.

"It is my knowledge that the Acts of Iomedea were a chronological recountment of what led to her ascension..."

She will then test the bars to see if they can be moved.

"Unfortunately I do not know them enough to know their proper order."

Taking 10 for a 23

"You have to hand it to the old man, he apparently knew how to construct his defenses!" Ionwe mentions as the group finishes the healing of their respective wounds.

Stopping and looking around the room, she holds up her hand to the others, "This place is trapped. There are fire arrow traps all along the ceiling here, is anyone able to deal with them?"

"How interesting." Ionwe says, bemusedly.

Walking towards the door with the others, she nods at the discussed marching order, and pulls an arrow, knocking it to the string. Stepping inside, she wrinkles her nose at the dead.

"It seems those old paladins put up a tough fight. I find it very odd though that the demons did not return to their planes."

Bending down, and holding the arrow still wither her index finger she reaches out with her other hand to inspect one of the other demon corpses.

Unfortunately I do not have knowledge planes so I wil just throw a few things out to go fishing.

Raises an eyebrow at the aasimar and draws her bow.

"I would highly prefer NOT to be coated in blood. Dead or otherwise. Let us disagree to simply kill them before they kill us."

Ionwe stares at the large tower in some awe.

"Well if that just isn't the sight."

Turning as she hears the tones, she raises an eyebrow at the three, "I hope that is not a....troublesome sound."

"I am sure the good Venture Captain would ask us all to please not die." Ionwe says as she rises from the chair, straightening her coat and hat, and checking her blade.

"Specialists, how fun. I shall depart to the stables for the time being, perhaps the procurement of a more expeditious means of travel would be beneficial. Do let me know if any other dangers or ill fortune await us that the Venture Captain may have forgotten a few moments ago."

With a flourish of her, the half elf leaves, heading for the local stables to purchase a horse and saddle for travel.

Takes a relaxed sitting posture, making sure to sprawl herself where possible. She listens carefully to the Venture Captains briefing and then to Sihir Anehs' explanation of the man responsible for the weapon.

"He sounds like he was a well liked individual. It is uncommon for the military or clergy to take scholarly study as their weapon. Very interesting. I can only imagine at the machines he probably instituted in the towers defense."

An extremely confident, and dark complexioned half-elven woman walks up. Wearing a long open leather coat, high top boots, leathers, and a tricorner hat with a single fluffy feather on her head. The salty smell of briny water can be smelled strongly from her, her long dark hair somewhat stringy from salt water as opposed to the fairness of usual elven hair. On her waist is a cutlass, and on her back a longbow. Coming to a stop at the small group in the streets of the fishing village, she raises an eyebrow.

"The Society always finds the most interest groups of individuals they can it would seem. Never hard to pick them out, that is for sure." she says somewhat sarcastically.

Touching her hat she continues with a slight grin, "Captain Ver'Ha. You can call me Captain Ver'Ha, or Captain. Do not worry, I do not presume to hold rank above you in regards to our little mission. Listen to me though and you might feel yourselves fairly well emboldened. I am told I am rather....charismatic."

Buying 60 Arrows, due to Lantern Bearer Level 2 all of my weaponry is considered Cold Iron.

I feel like I recognize some of these characters names...hey Slothsy how many of these folks are locals??

This blog is on tumblr and not written by myself, but by my girlfriend. She has been DM'ing now for a couple years and loves the Pathfinder system and Golarion itself. It has some very good articles so far for budding DM's and maybe some for DM's who have been playing for a while.

I have helped contribute a little, personally I have been DMing for about 4-5 years now in both DnD 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and have pretty much gone exclusively over to Pathfinder because of how great this system is. Check it out. She tries updating it about twice a week.

My girlfriend and I are completely psyched for this campaign. It sounds legen-wait for it cause its going to be massive, and mythic in proportion because of a massive holy war versus the Abyss-DARY!
