I’d get both runes now if I were you, waiting until next round means we’ll get creamed again.

I also realized I didn’t add in the bonus stamina from the dragon enhancement. Id’s HP and remaining SP should be 22 higher than they are from that.

Best thing Kait’lax can do is keep the missiles from hitting us. Redirect the runes onto the Hellknight mooks instead.

I think the best plan at this point is to gang pile on the boss and then hit the mooks. I’ll try to heal Tolar and pray the dicebot starts giving him 20s and the boss 1s, instead of the other way around like it’s done thus far.

Not gonna lie, this scenario feels maddeningly unfair. I get that this is the first Level 11-14 scenario, but all those earlier encounters amounting to just mounds of automatic damage and stacking conditions with no opportunity to rest just feels impossible. Any place where we even could feasibly pick up some help has obnoxiously high DCs with added penalties for failure, and even success doesn't yield the most useful resources. There's a fine line between challenging and frustrating, but this doesn't even feel like it's in the same zip code as that line. Scaranis was super tough, but never felt punitive like this does. I mean, we got super lucky against the troll and the ice devils and we're still getting the snot kicked out of us.

Did we get any intel that would have informed decisions that we missed, or just didn't make? Did we have a meaningful bout of terrible luck? I feel like we're doing pretty much everything as right as is feasible and still getting clobbered.

That's what I figured, but after failing literally every save I figured I should at least ask. Id hasn't even acted yet and he’s already down 75% of his health. This is probably going to be a short fight for him.

Id spends some of his remaining power to remedy some of Tolar's exhaustion.

Using Level 3 spell slot to cast lesser restoration on Tolar, exhausted goes to fatigued.

Joe or anyone else with decent Fortitude can probably keep at it a little longer, but for Id it's 50/50 on each save and check at best. I really don't like those odds if we still have a boss fight left. Is the kings' help crucial to winning this fight?

This is what I was worried about. Id needs at least an 11 to not get exhausted, which is now afflicting one of our main fighters. We still have a boss fight to go. I don’t know if it’s worth it with likely a <50% chance of even succeeding. If possible, I’ll let someone who isn’t yet fatigued take a crack at racking up more successes; I think it’s best if I burn a 3rd level spell slot to get Tolar back to fatigued.

With the horde overrunning his allies, Id tries to repel the orocorans using a different spell than he had intended.

Standard cast irradiate on the horde. The spread should directly impact the horde and leave the Pathfinders okay; even if the Pathfinders are nearby, as long as they are 10 feet from the point of origin then any armor of Level 7 or higher renders them immune to medium radiation. The horde automatically takes 18 damage with no save (12 normal poison damage x 50% for spread effect weakness) and must succeed at a DC 22 Fortitude save or advance on the Constitution poison track.

Struggling to read this map, but Id tries to put the umbral tentacles in a place that will immediately affect the horde and slow their advance with its difficult terrain as much as possible.

Yeah, the weight limit is a tougher nut to crack. Not sure how to get around that with a heavily armed and armored Jackojare other than maybe multiple trips.
