Hoch stays near the table, daring any of the bandits to come towards her. She does not want to be tricked away from the table where one of the other bandits could then steal things. (unless ordered to leave by a superior, of course)

Hoch looks around, but without some sort of missile weapon, she cannot help attack. She removes her two batons and stands ready to repel anyone who moves towards the girl or table with all the treasures upon it. Alan stands off to one side of her and she nods to him as he calls out to the Commander.

Hoch finds herself on the "party" level of the hotel. Staying in the background she looks over the people in the main room, looking for anyone out of place or who might be a trouble-maker. Perception: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 2 = 23

Hoch is quiet during the trip over to the hotel. She watches the others out of the corner of her eyes, not wanting to make direct eye contact with any of them...just yet. Sheesh...this is worse than having a partner. More like having 10!

Trying to figure out where Hoch would fit in this "New" guard unit. She is not a twinkletoes, not a SWAT. She is most definitely not an Officer, either. I see her as just a regular "Beat" cop, who is being picked by her commander for this particular group. As she is still awaiting her "partner" (Animal Companion) to join her, she is a little bit awkward as it stands. I am assuming she has started training with Tucker, and is in the final stages of bonding with him. SO for the first adventure or two, she will be flying solo, as it were.
I went and saw the premiere showing of Les Mis in Toronto in 1989 and again in 1991. I so love the Royal Alex!

Ohhh..CopRock!!! Such an under-rated show!!! Hoch is your typical "beat cop", but once she gains her new "partner"(animal companion), she could be moved to something more specialized. Otherwise, she knows the city very well and is able to get street-level info as needed. |
