Changes made!
This is Reldak Vol's submission, the CS is in the Profile. Harusk is a 1/2 Orc, Kraken Caller archetype Druid, and born and bred for the sea. He's got the Besmara's Blessing Trait, if that's acceptable. Still working on sheet itself, but I wanted to get you the idea to look at, just in case you have objections.
As much as I want to stay in the running, reviewing my schedule and the number of games I'm currently playing in, and I'd hate to give this less than my full attention. So yes, I'm going to make a mature decision and step aside on this one, before it gets up and going, so I don't screw up any momentum. I'll console myself by knowing I'm already in one of Dread's games, and enjoying it a great deal. Have fun, people. GM Michael is a GREAT game runner. You're gonna' have a blast! p.s. This means nobody is submitting a Druid, folks. If you have the inclination, jump on it!
Harusk Wolfmaw, Half-Orc (and Half-Elf), Druid
Harusk's Voice: I've never fit in...anywhere. I am a child of questionable birth, son of an elven sorceress and an orcish ranger who made a good, happy life together in the Verudan Forest a few days out from Highhelm. I had a good childhood, far from being born as a product of hate and fear, though somehow, everyone who meets me assumes it is so. No matter. I learned a long time ago that I had to stand on my own...even with the Council.
Rumors reached me through gossiping mercenaries at a trader's store of strange happenings down South in Taldor, near of the Border Wood region. Odd, disturbing stories of wintry conditions when the weather should be warm and the grasslands lush and vibrant. Of animals acting out of sorts and attacking far from where they should be found this time of year. And of worse things hunting in the darkness... When I brought these tales to the Druid Council circle in the Verduran Forest, I was dismissed as a young alarmist, as none of the more senior druids there had heard these same rumors. In fact, it was only after several days of stubbornly arguing with my mentor Talnon that I was able to convince him to let me head off at all to investigate the matter, and even then, outside of any official capacity. And so off I venture, seeking the truth of these matters and to quell the ominous sense of dread I have felt since I first heard about them. It would be nice to be wrong...but I fear that I am not.
Hey, all.
Enough about our real life silliness. 1. Great job on the height comparisons graphic!

I really like that.
Falkwyn stands 5'11', with a slender but muscled frame, sun-darkened skin, with sharp green eyes and black hair down to his shoulders. He wears a goatee, sometimes linked with a thin, sparse beard when he's too lazy to shave. As for the background in general, I also agree with Wizard's lab, and while there needs to be at least one or two other successful hybrids, most of the minions should be normal...otherwise we're all not the focus of the experiments, but "just a few more", in my humble opinion. For a name and whatnot, I like Aurorae's idea. And Laire's...maybe the "shadow faction" is where the funding and resources came from, but the Wizard is using them to do her own thing? As an aside, as a common, "bonding" moment for our characters, since they all grew up together, I'd like to request a common memory (though everyone could have their own take on it, obviously) where some or all of them were climbing a large tree in town, one from which Falkwyn climbed almost to the top, and then fell when a branch broke. He has a scar on his face from it, and a fear of heights, which once again, everyone can have their own opinions on... |
