Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Looking at the recently filled mug in front of him, then over at Trevor, Harn had an undecided look on his face. The pub had always been more his type of place, and not the stuffy formality of dinner with the Magistrate. Never-the-less, Harn downs his ale before thanking Jak for the drink and heading out with the others to attend the dinner.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Where Trevor's response is a quiet affair, Harn's is quite the opposite. Taking up the drink, Harn very nearly downs it in one gulp, as he places it back on the bar with a loud and boisterous "Ahhhhhhh." Then, after ordering another, he will find a place to sit and relax for a bit as they waited for their baths to be drawn.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Putting his own back into the task, Harn helps to dig the holes. Once the task is finished, he simply grunts, "Don't know what ye were doin' so far from the lumberyards, but don't you worry none about the world here. Enjoy whatever ya got waitin' fer ya."

Once the service is completed, Harn will head back to the inn as well for a bath and he will prepare himself for dinner with the magistrate.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Smelling under his arm, Harn blanches a little bit as he responds, "I have ta agree with you there, though before we do that, we have some bones to bury, don't we? Tha poor souls we found at the tree should be buried respectfully instead o' sitting in Quicksilver's packs.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Though still weary from a combination of the long trio and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, Harn nods almost jovially as he helps clean up the shop a little after so many people had tread through. Once the cleaning is finished, Harn fastens his axe once more across his back as he prepares to pay a visit to Shayla and the sheriff.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

As the magistrate approached and offered his hand along with his words of congratulations, Harn, having to stoop a little and take the halfling's small hand in his own striked a rather awkward looking figure, drawing a few giggles from people in the crowd who saw the sight. Taking him up on the magistrate's offer, Harn also remembers to make sure he talks with the sheriff later, not really sure if the he wanted to go back to lumber cutting after the short adventure he had just experienced in the Darkwood.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Not having bathed in a few days (unless the dip in the river could be considered bathing) and feeling rather grumpy at the moment, Harn gets up and follows Trevor, letting the younger, more diplomatic man handle the talking while he simply let his foul mood show with a nice glare he levels at anyone who happened to be jostling or shoving in the line. Those he stares at knows it would be the grumpy big man, not the calm and eloquent Trevor who would be the one to put them in there place if they continued to act up.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

The reality of the situation hitting him fully since their arrival back to the town, Harn says, "Even though it's still early, I say we go wake up Laurel or that trek through the woods wouldn't have done us any good." With that, Harn trudges off to Laurel's shop, not standing as tall as he had when he had left the town, the long trek wearing down even on the hardy lumberjack.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

On Trevor's first trip back, Harn hands over fifty feet of silk rope after tying one end off on his side before saying, "Now don't lose that to tha current now, took me a week o' work ta earn enough ta buy that."

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

"Well, I ain't much o' a swimmer, but I can give it a try." says Harn as he gazes across the water. "there aren't any bridges that cross the river but we might be able to find a safer place to cross if we follow the river. Though with the recent rains, I don't see that as too likely."

What time of the year is it? Also Nikolae, I think you are confusing the two games. It should be Quicksilver the donkey, not Noir the warhorse. :P

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

"Yeah, or I can throw yer bony self across." Harn mumbles in response to Aaremeth's statement, the long march even starting to wear on Harn's normally bountiful supply of energy.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

As the group leaves the abandoned monastery, Harn takes his normal place at the front, scanning the trees for any signs of danger. When night falls, the barbarian unwraps his enchanted torch, allowing the light to aid them in keeping to the most direct path back to the Hallow.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Hearing Aaremeth's return, Harn simply shrugs as he puts his axe away and turns from the mold infested room. He heads back out to meet up with the others. Now that the group had all three ingredients that they would need, he was ready to head back and see how Falcon's Hallow was holding up.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Spotting the growth of mold, Harn's face twists in disgust as it moves from the mold the other door. Thinking to how the hallway was built he whispers to Trevor. "If the wolves decide to double cross us, we can use tha door ta get on tha other side of them I think."

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

With Trevor taking his torch, Harn grips his axe in two hands as the two Hallower's head for the dark hole. However, as they head that way, Harn says, "Let's make this quick, 'cause Aaremeth has a point. Don't want to get too caught up in exploring and forget about why we were sent here."

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Looking around the room, Harn asks, "They all dead?" before shrugging his shoulders a bit and putting his axe away. Letting the others search the room, Harn simply keeps an eye out for any other trouble that might come the groups way.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Round 2:
Hearing the sounds of combat from below, Harn decides to act. Jumping into the hole, Harn uses his skills learned in the giant Darkwoods to land so as to reduce the pain that would result. Then he looks around for any threats to swing his axe at.

Acrobatics:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Acrobatics check to help reduce damage from the fall.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Hearing commotion from below, Harn tries to peer down to see what was going on. Noting the inky darkness which had sprung into existence Harn becomes undecided if he should stay where he was or leap down into the pitch darkness to help his comrades.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Gripping his axe, Harn prepares for anything that might leap from the hole.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Getting to the rooftop, Harn starts to make his way across the treacherous roof.

Reflex:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

[ooc]I assumed that the save is to avoid falling. if not, then subtract 1 from the reflex save[/dice]

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Keeping the borrowed Javalin, Harn secures everything to his person as he scales the wall to the roof. Once on the roof, he will carefully work his way over to the hole, switching for his axe once he reaches the hole to take out anything that appears from the hole.

Climb:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Climb up wall to roof and move over to the hole. Then will ready an action to attack anything that comes through the hole.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Looking up to the roof, Harn says, "I should be able ta climb that without much problem."

How high is the roof? If it isn't too high then Harn will climb up the wall, on to the roof. That way, if the roof does give, he doesn't have to worry about taking too much damage is it isn't too long of a fall.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Talking to Greypelt, Harn says, "Well, ya can understand our concern, no? Like my elven friend has said, we'll keep our part of the deal, but you had best to keep yours. And if there is any trickery, know that we are willing to deal with it, just as we dealt with the spider...quickly and with the result o' a bloody axe."

With that, Harn will wait for the others to gather before leading the way towards the door Greypelt indicated.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

"Well, we'll deal with whatever it was when tha time comes. Right now, I got a borrowed javalin that is aching to pierce winged creatures...if they truly pose a threat that is." Harn says as he closes the distance with the area said to house the winged creatures

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Seeing as how Harn has no ranged weapons, he will gladly borrow a few of Trevor´s javalins though deep down, he was hoping that the creature might fly low enough to get a hold of it and possibly drag it to the ground.

Heading back into the courtyard, Harn will head off in the direction of the flying creature´s place, wary of attacks from the creature as well as from the wolves.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Round 2:

Spoiler:
Feeling Lueck`s magic starting to leave his body, Harn does his best to move into the tower and close with the spider, swinging his axe at the spider as he does. ¨First time I`ve had to use an axe ta kill a spider.¨ His voice boomed as his body begins to shrink back to its normal size.

Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Damage:1d12 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

move action to close in and standard action to attack the spider

Sorry for the tardy posting, unexpectadly been without internet at the house.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Moving over to the door, Harn will use the last moments of his enlarged size to put his full weight into the stuck door, trying to at least get the door unstuck, if not knock it off its hinges.

Strength Check:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Moving to E,24 in an attempt to break the door down.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Not fully trusting the Worg, Harn moves off towards the tower where Greypelt says the large spider makes it's home. Knowing that it would have to be a pretty big spider to threaten a wolf, even a wolf cub, Harn begins to feel a tad skeptical. Their group had seen many strange things on this trip, but really...a giant spider?

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Whispering back to Trevor, Harn says, "Don't really have much of a choice, now do we? If the wolf does know where to get this Iron blossom thing then it could end up saving us a lot o' time instead of trying to search through all of the monastery. Besides, I don't know what your divine senses are telling you but my normal ones are telling me that the wolves will only attack on the big wolf's word. Do ya really want ta kill off an entire group o' wolves because one o' them stinks o' evil?"

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Picking up on Trevor's nervousness, Harn says, "Hmmm, that don't seem so bad. At least not any stranger than what we've seen so far. So a big spider and a winged creature. We can do this fer ya. But you better not be lying to us wolf. It has been quite the trip in getting here, and we ain't in the mood to stand fer betrayal. Everything that has tried to stand in the way of what we want has paid for it and don't go thinking that you and yours would be any different." With that, Harn looks towards the tower that Graypelt indicated as he thought, Well this is turning out to be more work than we thought necessary, but if the wolf really can lead us to what we need, it'll be better than having to find it on our own with him at our backs.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Still looking at Graypelt, Harn tries to hide the fact that he felt slightly uncomfortable and confused, talking with a wolf that can respond. Looking for any chance to shift the focus a bit, Harn says, "Well, that is where it gets a tad difficult fer me. I ain't never seen what we are looking fer." Glancing towards Aaremeth, Harn asks, "What was it we were looking fer again?"

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Normally, Harn would have thought the Worg to be rather large, however, in his augmented height, Harn thought that the intelligent wolf was rather normal looking and his buddies just plain tiny. Taking a casual stance, Harn turns to face Graypelt as he says, "Hey there. I know it might seem a tad rude ta be bargin' in like this, but we are looking fer something that'll help a few of our sick that might be around here. With yer permission, we'd like ta look around fer it. What ya say?"

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Harn will advance into the courtyard, smirking at Nikolae's words as he says. "Nah, don't think we'll find any so quickly. This plant likes ta grow near natural metals form what we have found, no? So it'll probably be further in."

Initiative:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Moving into the courtyard to stand just to the right and five feet away from the well.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Taking a place close to the front, Harn will unwrap what appears to be a torch that is held at his waist by his belt. Removing the wrapping, light issues from the torch head, providing enough light for those near the front to see by. Then hefting his axe, Harn heads towards the monastery's main gate.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Having Aaremeth confirm his feeling that they were being watched, Harn stands up, turns to face the direction that Aaremeth was looking , puffs out his chest with his axe in hand and tries to appear as big and towering as possible in an attempt to scare off the most likely hungry wolves. "C'mon ya mutts! If ya want a piece o' our flesh, we are gonna hafta take some o' yours in turn!"

Intimidate:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Having partaken of the offered ale, Harn was to at least have a good drink and company if not the comforts of a cot and roof over his head.

Enjoying the conversation and laughing at the focus everyone seems to have on Trevor's boot, he take a moment to look around.

Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Taking in the building, Harn says, "Well, lets go see what there is then." Moving forward, Harn seems to be calm and relaxed as he approaches, though the others in the group see the man unstrap his axe from his back and grip it tightly in his large fist.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Harn just smirks at the business of deciding whether it was ok to take the goods or not. From his perspective, Aaremeth had it right, you keep what you find, especially if the owner had long since vanished, leaving behind an accursed cauldron which forces you to ding up your favorite axe.

Reaching the river, Harn turns to Nikolae and responds, "Well, I can tell ya that we have no idea what we'll find in there, but if you feel it's safer to be in a big building, in the middle o' the Vale, which is most likely inhabited by all sorts of critters, then by all means, lets go say hello."

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Not really interested in whether stuff was taken from the shack or not, Harn pays no attention to that part of the conversation as he says to Trevor, "Can't really say if the mushroom grows inside out outside, we shoulda asked Laural before leaving. I just know where the most likely place around here might be. If we don't find any there, then we'll hafta think of something else."

Ready to get underway, Harn looks to the others and turns to head in the direction of the old dwarven monastary once the others are ready.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Harn mumbles something about spooky uninhabited shacks before grudgingly agreeing with the others. Finding a comfortable place to sleep, he will quickly eat some rations before nodding off until his turn for the watch.

Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

"That's a nice gesture there Aaremeth, but from the looks of this place, it has been long abandoned." Turning in the direction of the ruins, Harn says, "Ya all ready?" As he heads off to their next destination.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Seeing what Vermiis is trying to do, Harn starts to look around for signs of what might had happened to the old witch.

Survival:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

After the cauldron is done for, Harn runs his hand over hhis axe, knowing that he would have to give it some tender love and acre after the beating it took to destroy the cauldron. Then, seeing to work, Harn get to work helping to look through the hut for anything that might be match the rat's tail's description.

Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

2nd lvl HP roll: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Focusing on the cauldron, Harn swings his axe once more, putting what force he had behind his swing in order to take out the creature.

ATTACK:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage:1d12 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

"Well, if that's what ya want to do, then get a move on! I'll cover yer retreat!" Harn says as he takes another swing at the creature. Once the others are away, Harn will break off and retreat to outside of the rundown shack.

Attack:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage:1d12 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Power attacking the cauldron then once others have pulled out, will take a full retreat.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Round 1:

Spoiler:
Having stayed back to keep an eye on things as the others looked around, Harn was shocked to see that trouble was gonna be coming from the cauldron. Moving as fast as he could in his shocked state, Harn brings his axe to bear, swinging with all of his might, wanting to take this strange creature out before it started spewing hexes or what not, it was after all a witch's cauldron.

Power Attack:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage:1d12 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Move forward and power attacking, if the space is available and possible, Harn will charge, adding +2 to attack which is not included in the roll.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

A bit ashamed that his fear of the unknown got the better of him, Harn moves up the stairs as Aaremeth forces open the door. Peering in, he shutters a bit at the sight of the inside, specifically of the moldy skeleton in the wicker chair. However, Harn remains resolute as he enters into the small shack to take the brunt of whatever witchcraft might be thrown the group's way.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Having been rather jolly and light-hearted through most of the journey, Harn becomes quite serious as they approach Ulmilza's hut. Remembering all the stories he had heart from other people in the village, Harn warily moves into the clearing. On edge and constantly looking about, Harn will approach the creepy hut.

Male Human (Taldan) Barbarian / 2

Taking a look at the hide armor, Harn decides that it wouldn't be worth the effort to take along. Not only was he pretty attached to his own armor, he wasn't fond on donning anything that just came off of a dead body, at least not until it got cleaned. Looking to the others to see if they were ready to move on, Harn places a hand on the massive trunk and simply smiled, hoping that he would never have to cut down such a beautiful tree. Then orienting himself, the lumberjack asks, "Yah all ready?" as he starts to head off to the northwest and towards Ulizmila's hut.
