Sorry, it's been a really long work week, and after being knocked unconscious I figured I had a day or two before I would get to act again.

Hargo grunts as he wakes up.
"W-what happened?" he grumbles as he starts to get up.

After realizing what is going on:

"Perhaps we should start a low fire, so as to not freeze to death?" he suggests.

Is it even possible to start a fire in this weather? If not it may be pertinent to just continue onwards.

Hargo accepts the rage.

After seeing Yessena shrink and the fey appear, Hargo rushes forward towards her drawing his greatsword. "Let me at the little bugger!" he shouts.

Unfortunately that's all he can do. Double move to G18.

As the stag hasn't actually made any aggressive moves, Hargo will delay his action.

"What, and let this fine meal pass us by?" Hargo says while patting his belly. "I say we kill it and take it with us. It shouldn't rot, given the weather, so we can take it with us and cook it up when we make camp."

He glances over to see if it noticed him.

Sense motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

"Plus, this is a good chance to test our mettle!", he bellows.

"I'd bet white stag tastes just as well as normal stag. Probably make a fine fur coat, too," Hargo pats his belly. "What say you? Let's hunt this stag and have us some dinner!"

Heroes letting murderers go free... What the hell... The gnome at least has a good head on her shoulders.

He shakes his head, then prepares himself for further travel. [b]"I suppose we should move then,"[b] he says, then leads the way.

Hargo has heard enough.

"If we let them leave, we'll likely have to deal with them later. If we don't kill them, we should at least tie them up. They are miserable creatures, however. They have the same playful tendency as their kin, with the sadism and grotesqueness of a demon. If we wish to stop this threat, I say we kill them. It is only fair," he shrugs.

Hargo nudges towards his greatsword in response.

Sylvan:
"He wouldn't, but I would. Why don't you do what he says, and keep it to common? Unless you'd like to experience life on the ground," Hargo shrugs.

+4 is a size difference bonus. Maybe I can get a circumstance bonus for threatening bodily harm too? ;)

Was going to post last night, but by the time it was my turn, the battle had been won and I was exhausted.

Hargo calms down as the battle comes to a close. He looks around behind him to find his bow, and then picks it up. Turning his attention to Ragnar, he says, "That I do. Learned it from mother, who learned it along the borders of the Venduras. If they are truly as cold-hearted as Yuln said, however, we likely won't get much out of them. I say we kill them and carry on. We have won this fight, we should press the advantage."

Then he looks at everyone else. "If anyone is hurt, perhaps it would be best if we take care of them for a moment," he remarks, realizing not everyone may have the same single-minded determination he does.

Hargo drops his bow and draws his greatsword while moving towards the fey nearest him.

"You will regret attacking us!" he yells in Sylvan.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 = 13

He brings his sword slashing down.

I guess he's so angry he can't focus well.

Hargo rubs at the area where the arrow hits while scanning the trees ahead of him.

"Ambush!" He shouts. "There's one in the trees, over there!" He points.

Rewind just a second to the trap activation. Also, worst trap ever lol.

"Hrngh", Hargo grunts as the spiked log grazes his chest. He looks a bit winded, but otherwise uninjured as the spikes fail to find purchase between his armor's tightly linked scales.

"Ha ha!" He laughs. "Bandits. They couldn't spike a log if their lives depended on it." He then inspects the remains of the trap until Ragnar speaks, seeing what he can learn.
Just flavor there.

"Agreed. Most of this isn't any better than what we have currently. No point in weighing ourselves down."

Perception: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 5 - 4 = 15
Fortitude: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Hargo will aid Creed in staying warm. Nevermind he rolled lower than ten. Also, he's just above the threshold of medium load, wearing medium armor.

"Wait here", Hargo raises his hand. He then moves forward to inspect the chest.

Sorry, I totally forgot the -4. Should be 3 and 18. Also, as a side note, Hargo is definitely not a southerner. He just comes from an area of the north that isn't perpetually cold.

Unless the scabbard is removable, Hargo will leave the sword, otherwise he'll strap it out of the way.

Hargo, seemingly oblivious to Yessena's joke, states, "The trail is already cold, so to speak. Still it is best we not tarry, if we wish to rescue this lady. We should probably get changed for this weather, I don't believe it will let up."

He then climbs in the nearest carriage to change into his winter outfit out of the cold. When finished, he climbs out and says, "When you have finished searching for anything useful, let us go. I do not wish to stay in this cold overlong."

He then starts toward the tracks.

Survival(track) if needed: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 +2 more if they are human tracks

Wasn't sure if you wanted us to actively put our cold gear on, but now seemed as good a time as any.

Hargo calls out to Ragnar, "Thank you for the warning brother, to think I might have opened that carriage without a thought as to whether they be friend or foe." He stares morosely at the dead women in the carriage. "I am sure the these women had friends, even family of their own. We should find the evil that..." He spits at the ground, then continues, "The evil that raised these and bring it to the sword."

He then walks over to the frozen man. "What manner of creature can freeze a man nearly whole?" he ponders aloud.

If there is any way to remove the breastplate, Hargo will do so. He won't be needing it anymore, eh?

I could have done what I originally planned, but this seemed more flavorful with the rage.

Hargo will definitely accepts the rage.

While Ragnar begins singing, Hargo glances down at the spear in his hands, then looks up at the moving corpse in front him, his expression changing to one of disgust and anger. He jabs at the zombie with as much strength as he can muster.

He'll use power attack and keeps both hands on the spear

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage(Piercing): 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

He leaves the spear lodged inside the monster, then draws his sword.

Or drops it on the ground on the off chance a 19 can't hit a zombie.

I think it's still late afternoon, would have taken probably two hours to walk here.

"Not necessary. However, be ready, I think Ragnar may be right. These are not the moans of the living."

He then grabs hold of the spear with both hands and pulls it out.

If he's able to he'll drop the spear and unsheathe his sword.

Yeah I suppose I could have just ooced it. I guess he'll heed Ragnar's warning and ready his weapon if he doesn't think it's some sort of moan of the injured or something else coming from someone alive.

I totally know there's a couple of zombies but I didn't think Hargo would recognize it, considering he's spent most of his life hunting and trapping animals and only in the last few years has he started going bandit hunting.

Hargo, hearing the movement coming from carriage, carefully makes his way over to it. He shouts loud enough for those inside to hear, "Hello? Are there any survivors in there?"

"Ragnar is the other tall one. I am Hargo. Perhaps you can remember that he has a beard and I do not. You are welcome." Hargo sounds rather light-hearted as he says this. Clearly he does not mind so much.

"I'll wait for you all, I need nothing else from the general shop." He then begins milling about the town square.

I'm almost certain that was an accident, but I went ahead and addressed it in character. Also it is probably easy to confuse two humans that both come from barbarian cultures anyway.

As they make their way to the general store, Hargo calls out, "Wait! I actually have enough warm clothing for all but one of us. I was coming into town to buy some for my family."
He then hands out a winter outfit to whoever gets them first, saving the smaller outfit for Creed.

I'll go ahead and subtract 3 cold weather outfits from my character sheet. Creed's is guaranteed since we can only deus ex machina one small sized outfit. Unless GM Deadly Secret just wants to have Creed walking around in an outfit way too large for her. Whoever wants to have them first gets them, they are only 5gp anyway lol.

This hamlet must get a lot of adventurers. Yeesh.

"Erf. Maybe not."

Turning to Yessena, he offers a few words of encouragement. "There is no shame in retreat when outnumbered twelve to one. Especially if one plans to bring friends next time."

He then turns and addresses everyone. "It seems we have yet another reason to go hunting. Yet if it is so cold that we could lose limbs, perhaps we could do for some warmer clothing."

At this point you might notice furs peeking out from his pack

"How much is that potion of resist cold?", Hargo asks, realizing that it may come in handy at some point.

Hargo turns to to our gnomish friend and jokingly answers her rhetoric, "Little one, my legs are this long because I have walked for much of my life. Even when I sleep, I dream that I am walking!"

His face becomes more somber, and he stares intensely at Yuln's nose. "So we have freezing fey that like to change noses into plums cahorting with immoral bandits who would work with such soulless creatures. Perhaps the odds are not in our favor, but Gorum surely smile upon us if we were to bring these forest folk to heel."

He continues, "It seems we must simply find where the snow is deepest, and we will find these creatures. We might even be able to catch them unawares, if we can track them and make our way quietly."

After Kovacs' suggestion, he finishes, "They may be worth a visit. If nothing else, they might have supplies that could aid us."

As Hargo ambles inside, he issues a friendly word of greeting to Tess, and glances around the shop for a moment see if there's anything interesting. Mildly disappointed, he begins to quietly listen to the conversation in a corner.

Knowledge(Nature): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
At the mention of fey, his ears perk up a bit.

As Hargo is making his way, he hears Ragnar tell him to slow down. Instead, he comes to a dead stop, spins around and grins. "How goes it", he greets. "I am called Hargo, and I am greatest trapper in border woods." He then clasps his hand around Ragnar's and suggests, "Let us continue?"

If your character is good at recognizing stories, he probably realizes that Hargo is doing a bit of embellishment.

Sorry for the delay, been a long two days at work, and wound up just needing to hit the hay right away.

Hargo looks delighted at the mention of a leftover slice of pie.
"Thanks Kale!", he says, and digs in. A few minutes later and the pie is completely devoured, with barely even a crumb left.

Doing some timey wimey stuff here, I'm assuming he was eating during that entire conversation about Dansby and the guard. Seems like a good time frame.

After finishing, Hargo stands up and sets his dishes on the bar, once again thanking the two. Afterwards, he announces, as though it were already decided, "That settles it! I'm going to see the guard at the apothecary. He might have a lead on these beasties, and I can track them and crack some skulls, eh?" He then starts for the door...

Yeah we could take just about anyone, though I would personally love another at least partial martial.
Also not sure what to do at this point in the tavern. Can we assume Hargo is eating meat pie, drinking ale, and listening to the conversation between the three newcomers with passing interest?

"Will do. Thank you Vivi. Now I must fill my belly. Mother didn't even let me eat breakfast!" He makes makes a sort of half smile, pats his stomach, then stuffs the outfits on top everything else in his pack and leaves.

As Hargo makes his way to the Stoat, he ignores any merchants hawking their wares around the lady, and instead rushes hurriedly to the door. As he enters he roars boorishly, "Menander! I want pie!" and makes his way to a table.

"It is cold, is it not? It snowed in the wood, and mother, she believes it will get colder. Besides, if I do not get these, she will not let me hunt today. Here is the gold. He reaches in his belt pouch for 20 gold coins, then hands them over to her. As he does so, a noticeable rumble can be heard coming from his stomach.

Hargo stares with interest at the arrow magnet. "Arrow magnet... What is this? he asks, intrigued, though he knows he can't afford it.

After she answers he'll reply:

"Not today. My pouch, it is not heavy." He gives his coin pouch a little shake and continues on. "Mother sent me to find warmer cloth and furs. She is afraid it will get colder. We need four, one smaller for Taltia. Also, Borgo his father wants me to tell you that he'll have many furs within tenday."

Did I forget to mention he has a younger sister? He does, her name is Taltia and she just so happens to be the same height as our gnomish friend.

Hargo looked miserably bored as he arrived in town by the northern path. Earlier that morning he had quarreled with his mother, begging to be allowed to go out with father as he hunted both bandits and animals. Instead he was forced to go into town to buy some warmer clothing for his family, as they feared the cold would only get worse.

As he walked down the path, he pulled his furs tighter, as he was not used to the cold in summer. Shortly he arrived at the general store and started to look around. "Anyone here?", he announced, scanning the shelves for anything useful.

Here's Hargo, professional trapper.

There's a very basic outline of his backstory for you to look over, will fluff it out over the next couple days and beyond. Let me know if anything needs to be changed.
I haven't quite worked out his personality or physical description.
He'll probably be a bit gruff but not particularly rude or anything. He enjoys battle, and sees traps as merely tools to make a living with.
(I'll probably use them primarily for defense until I can shoot them with a bow. He'll have epiphany, "What if I shoot a trap from a bow?")
With that strength he's going to have some pretty large muscles.
He'll also be a bit dirty and has some furs (that he probably won't be wearing at the start due to the heat.)
