But part 3 (AFB) does show as 10 prestige (whereas parts 1/2 show up as 4), so maybe part3/bonus were combined?

Unfortunately you can't take 10 (or 20) to aid another skill check. Also are you using a GM re-roll? I know those have some different rules about them. Ah, I don't think I have rerolls? I probably wouldn't use it for an aid anyway.
