I'm sure he wasn't aware of that when he selected her...in the earlier session I referenced, the player designated a PC at the beginning that was too high to receive the pregen credit but it wasn't discovered till after the scenario was completed...the player had to switch to a different PC to take the credit... would seem to me the same would apply here...but I guess that's up to the GM to figure out though...

No worries, GM, you've been fair...without the healing, I'd be at -43 though (-13 HP)...that'd make my CON DC 23 and I couldn't hit that even with a nat 20 so no need for a re-roll. Thanks Nat but keep your re-roll as this encounter isn't over and you might need it... Grynt's mind races...the visions flashing before him...freeing Guaril, making what he thought had been a clean escape from the beast then being struck while climbing to the ship...all hazy since then... He sees...a blur trying to reach him...Nat? He struggles to reach back...but fails as the beast has him secure...another blur...Li? He feels the man's arms pull him free from the beast's deadly grasp...but then he finds himself floating amidst blood...Is it my own? Where's Li? The beast must have the brave man now...no!!! Grynt thinks he sees Nat again struggling to reach him...he reaches back, thinking he can reach her...but he cannot...Thank you my friends for trying...at least I might've helped save Guaril... As Nat's face starts to fade, another face superimposes itself over her's...Mom? I'm coming home...I am Grynt... Thanks for running this GM. Enjoyed playing with everyone. I have a +1 Mithral shirt with no check penalties so I don't think I have a swim penalty... Grynt wonders what he's gotten himself into...well at least the beast let go of Guaril... I was thinking I'll try to attack the tentacle holding him while grabbing him and trying to pull him to the surface...if I'm successful, he might be above the water on your turn and you can hit him with your wand...

While he feels much out of his element at the party with all the richly dressed nobles and wealthy, the half-Orc tries to do his part. Grynt gives a toothy grin at the question, nods, and bows... However, he will be as courteous as he can and answer in the same vein if others ask, although he will not repeat the bow shot...
