That's a third party class, then? I'm not familiar with it. Also, I probably don't want to be familiar with it, but I'll try not to let my bias against third party classes affect my impression of your character.

Agreed. Grub is excellent at tanking bosses or specific powerful enemies, but less so with crowd control. Someone who can corral a load of minions would help a lot, especially considering how brutal that last skeleton fight was.

Grubgullet is in excellent spirits today, and takes every opportunity to show off his strength. He rips trees out of the ground, heaves boulders aside, and just generally seems happy. If his companions didn't know any better, they might think he was even stronger than before. Which, actually, he is, since he gained a point of strength for hitting level 3, and he still had the damage at that point. "How do we know it was a fight? It don't look like that much got broken. I guess it coulda been little folk fightin', like you."

It can actually be a really powerful ability with a couple more feats. There's a later one that causes targets to be nauseated for one round instead of sickened, which would be great. But again, it's hard for a party. The possible upside is that, if you succeed at a save, you're immune to it for 24 hours. But I don't think we can necessarily rely on that.

Oh, I should probably explain that sickened thing. At level six, Grub can take Corrupted Flesh, which means he'll have a stench aura. I figure it works, since he has the Wasting curse. I'm just not sure if it's a good idea, since A) there's no listed duration, and B) it could end up doing more harm than good.

That'll be a big help. If you want to get it quickly, you could take Extra Lay on Hands twice, at fifth and sixth level, giving you a total of 11 uses, which is enough for it. Then again, you'll probably be able to get an enhancement bonus to charisma by then. Also, speaking of sixth level, if anyone can get immunity to the sickened condition by then, I'd encourage it.

"Urgh... so weak. Just wanna sleep forever..." He immediately makes good on that, and collapses, fast asleep, in the middle of a pile of bones. Grub's taken a lot of ability damage, so if anyone in the party can learn Lesser Restoration now that we're 3rd level, I'd appreciate it.

If #8 is still up, attack him. If not, 5-foot step and attack #6. Kinetic Fist Flurry Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Grubgullet continues to swing with all his might at the skeletal creatures.

My concern is that, assuming we live through this, healing is still a bit scarce. We might have to rest and get back our spells, which means wasting two entire days on a side quest. On the other hand, if this goes poorly, I might roll up a pure caster for my replacement. Maybe a Psychic//Wizard//Arcanist. Ooh, or if CaveToad is cool with the Psychic Duel mechanic, I could do something like a Psychic (Psychic Duelist)//Magus//Unchained Monk.

Grubgullet makes it into position, but as he does, he falls to the ground, unable to withstand the blows of the horde of enemies. Sly manages to stop the bleeding, but the hulking lug does not stir. After being healed, I am at -3. I don't mind this, because my only option besides letting this happen was to step back and ignore the combat entirely.

Overrun #9: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 Grubgullet forces his way through the crowd into the room, though the swings and blows of the enemies, and positions himself on the other side. I think I'm provoking five AoOs from this, assuming the skeletons don't have combat reflexes.

Grub lumbers closer, but with the entrance to the room blocked off, there's not much he can do. Luckily, there is one thing he can think of. He concentrates for only a second, and the noxious fumes in his gut burst into magical flame, ready to spew forth at any moment. Casting Firebelly.

"Maybe the bones is scared of us now. You know what happens when people is scared of you, right?" Grub doesn't seem to be directing the question to anyone, but after he poses it, he turns to Shaeyl for confirmation.

If the skeleton is still intact, and Grubgullet is still holding it, he squeezes it tightly, trying to crush its bones. Grapple, Maintain to Damage: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28

Unfortunately, in these tight quarters, Grubgullet can't easily get close to the shadow and fight it the way he'd prefer. However, throwing rocks at it seemed to work, at least partially, so he decides to keep going with that. Earth Blast: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
