Spoiler: Any issue with negative stats I know some people don't like them. Was thinking of less intelligent less pretty/sure of himself(from beatings administered at the hands of Lamm and lackies growing up)
Either Kid escaped or kid sold into slavery coming back for revenge kind of thing

I'm thinking Oracle, Witch, or Summoner We can see what the others want first. Detritus and I may have someone who will play we can ask him. I know he has been lurking because another game we were in was going a little slow. And Yes very much Prachett fans. I have every one of his books that's on paperback. Including all of his nonDiscworld ones.
DAOC had weapon levels, they were usable at any level but if you used them before you should they got damaged much easier/quicker this could help you limit the use of +2 vs +5 on lower level characters. Allowing Sunder to work on Equipment would eventually lead to another form of griefing... I can see several people in a team with the specific job of breaking the armor of the other team(yes somewhat realistic in immersion) but I can just see all kinds of trouble with that. I would much prefer for Sunder to put a debuff on someone allowing them to take more dmg if on equipment or do less damage if done on a weapon for a set period of time.

Periodically there will be a post on this forum looking for players for PBP(Play by Post)Game. When that happens you will need to respond quickly in one of those with your interest and what you would be interested in playing. You typically don't have to have a full character concept ready to go though. Something along the lines of, Hey I love blah blah and would be very interested in playing a (insert class here) of (very brief concept), I will post a detailed concept later today(insert generic reason for not doing now). If you are early enough(usually this is the key) and have a good enough concept(you can post you are a noob to pbp people are generally very receptive) you will typically get in.
If you are still looking for a 6th I would be interested.... Wanhope the Blind
This wizened gnome spent his youth roaming the forests of the River Kingdom. He was a special gnome, well liked by his villagers with a special charisma that marked him as different. He found out by accident one day that he had a special ability to speak with animal. Much to his and there surprise he developed a kingship with several of the local critters, especially one particular squirrel. While out one evening he was caught in a lightning storm, while seeking shelter a bolt of lighting hit a tree that fell on him. He was found early the next day by a local hunter, who was lead to him by an excited squirrel, and was taken back to his village. After being tended to by a healer when he finally awoke he found that he could no longer see like he used too, anything beyond several yards was clouded. Despite the loss of his eyesight he continued to feel a special kinship with the forest and was determined to unlock some of it's many mysteries.
Yeah just confirming earlier I did pick a primal class in shaman. Also as to vestige since that is the concept around the divine classes couldn't that also be the concept of vestige? You've forged a pact with an ancient god of magic or some such? "You have forged relationships with vestiges—the remnants of powerful forces and entities that once exercised great authority or demonstrated awful capabilities. These remnants are diverse in their backgrounds and motives. As a vestige pact warlock, you can choose from between two or more vestige pacts to fuel your arcane power."
Crisk human witch: Crisk grew up on the streets of the great port city of Bel Akhana. He remembers a little more of their life before their mother's death than his brother Dram, but never felt like sharing it with his brother.
Being undersized he was not cut out for the work his father had done as a guard for one of the local guilds, and was never compelled to try his hand at the Sellsword Guild. Always feeling like an outsider he strode to scrap together a living with his brother using his wits. While his brother would use his quick hands to bring food to their table he would use his talents with fortune and water. He discovered he had an affinity with a raven that he befriended and it did not seem to be an ordinary bird. He named him Ja and he has been a constant companion ever since. He and his brother have managed to scrap together a tolerable living with his little cons and his brothers reliable work at the Thieves guild, but he has always yearned for more. |
