We have a rage prophet right now with the haunted theme. Just like the alch/inquisitor, the character would be so much better for the carrion AP , than the SS AP, we just found them and started playing them....
MAYBE I could get the Alchemist to play another alchemist/chymist.
Id like to see the Witch play a witch/oracle that was haunted and go up to mystic theurge. ( I might get her to do that)
The inquisitor/alch right now is liking inquisitor the most, in SS. So maybe she should just save chymist for the next AP?
she uses the poisons and such from alch to augment inqusitor xbow right now.
need to put some thought into it, this AP is going to be very cool if the characters are themed right.
You might want to hold off on doing the witch/oracle combo. Although an interesting multiclass concept (and i have thought about it)The character would be significantly behind most of the other party members. Not only spell wise but ability wise since both classes rely heavily on the features they offer.

Moira
Elf Witch Female
Longbow, sword, spells n hexes, the typical elf adventurer Ie classic DnD.
Arandriel
Female Human Oracle
going for clouded vision psychic type
Arden
Human Male Inqusitor
(probably going to take some ranger)
undead hunter.
Possible 5th player to play an alchemist.
almost with the Alch/Inquisitor we have in serpents skull would do it again for Carrion Crown, character would fit better.
combine the witch/oracle in oe person would be cool too.
might be some tweaking here.
Like the party build all the Apg classes, should be an interesting party. The oracle could go with the haunted curse keeping with thematic nature of the AP
I would go with lawful evil he is working within a code of conduct no matter how misguided which gives the lawful aspect. His decision to kill people because of their stupidity shows evil especially since he shows no compassion or lenience. The said inquisitor would view himself as lawful Good believing he was doing the world a public service. What you described reminds me of Light Yagami from Death Note
I'm looking at a Human male Witch from Taldor with an elemental patron. A savage and exotic look. Has strange designs tattoed on his face, wears exotic looking clothes and has a black cat familiar. Possibly going to be the only arcane character in the party.
James, I'm curious where did you get the inspiration for the Qlippoth (They Happen to be my most hated outsiders)
Who will you be playtesting in Carrion Crown? (That is if you do)
I say take transmuter as your wizard specialization getting that since you will have 6 levels of wizard the +2 enhancement bonus to your one of your physical scores will be invaluable. In addition you can't loose with having extra transmutation spells. Opposition schools you could go with Divination/enchantment. The Eldritch knight is a martial character so you will want to keep evocation to be able to get some long range damage in before you meet foes with your blade. Enchantment can produce some cool results but it would be better to have a full caster deal with that. Divination its a great school but if you have a cleric in the party it can just as easily be covered by that character and probably much more effectively.

There's plenty of evidence if you simply view the bible as a massively edited and re-edited collection of folklore, as opposed to gospel truth.
I view it all as folklore, and therefore it's a matter of historic fact that Lilith appears in works of folklore predating the bible--including in creation myths predating the Book of Genesis--and it's also a matter of historic fact that the current stories of Lilith and her place in the Book of Genesis date to the 8th to 10th centuries but obviously claim to be part of an older mystery tradition.
From what I have read it is possible Lillith was an import from Babylon. She is similar to the demon Lamashtu and in certain texts they have been combined together.
If your trying something based on Catholicism then you could go with something like this.
Favored weapon unarmed strike or perhaps quarter staff The catholic church had prohibition of its priests from using any type of weapon especially edged weapons.
Domains.
Law they are all about rules and dogma
Community Basically the church was all about the community and unity
Nobility The church wielded great power they could make or break a king

"Rush the caster" ought to be just above "rush the archer" in terms of "tactical priorities 101." Or maybe the group is making use of terrain and placement. There are plenty of ways to deter the rush the caster charge, a lot hallway battles after all do tend to take place in close quarters. Overrun is a good thing, there, but then narrow quarters and broken-up terrain does a lot to hamper spellcasters without extra help from the enemy, unless they don't care about catching their own parties with their area spells. Really, your allies love tentacles!
Quote: The witch's strength is that she's a versatile caster, she's effectively a mystic theurge done as a base class. She's the bard of magic casters able to fill various roles from healer, to support, to debuffer, to damage. This means of course she's not going to particularly stand out in any one of them. Except she's not that versatile. It's a fake flexibility; what she gets as you go up spell levels are more of the same sorts of things, not especially new things. She gets a lot of good divination and transportation utility spells, but that's really the high point of her spell list. And a bunch of those spells are things you might only cast once every few -campaigns-, like plane shift or astral projection, or teleport object. She doesn't get many buffs, and she's notably missing key arcane buff spells like invisibility, displacement, and haste in her basic spell list. And she's missing wall spells and protection from alignment spells, too.
She gets the utterly useless 'inflict' line of spells, healing, which she is poor at for the same reason druids are (needs to pre-memorize, can't spontaneously convert useful memorizations to heals as needed), a lot of enchantments that are either... The 'inflict' spells are not as useless as I once thought they have come into great use especially when you have wands that contain the spell. Her encahntments are neither redunant or useless. Sleep and deep slumber are still useful taking out groups of enemies and when you reach 11th level there is cloak of dreams. Hold is quite effective in battle. Confusion is a pretty nasty little spell to cast against a group. Augment these spells with spell focus and if the enemy has suffered an evil eye hex enchantments start ruling the game.
In the situation of immune to mind affecting enchantments than relie on necromantic spells and debuffs or straight up damage.
Actually the bard and Cleric usually charge in so they are taking the brunt of the assault. I stay within the background using hexes and other spells as needed.

"Your room is such a slum!" haha damn keyboard... Well her lover is from the working class....
I'm playing a witch in COT she is far from underpowered or lacking in parts. The slumer hex is amongst her deadliest abilities which has ended quite a few encounters before they even started. Evil eye has really put a kink on the enemies especially when it comes to saves. The healing hex has come in handy on multiple occasions. I've managed to keep the party going and use it against undead opponent. Spell list is mainly debuff/control. Blindess and Hold have worked wonders. Only once at the begining of the adventure she got knocked to 0 hp other than that she has been scratched by enemies
The iconics are not meant to be optimized. They are meant to be average having both useful and underpowered abilities. From there on in if you want to use an iconic adjust as you see fit. Personally I like to use them as making guest star appearences.

Well here is an idea after the conclusion of COT you can keep them in Westcrown and have them face the new deadly challenge of Kaltessa The high priestess of Mammon (Level 10 Cleric Level 10 Diabolist, for more info on her she is under the Mammon section of the Twice damned Prince.

I noticed there are the more traditional music scores which is cool. However, might I suggest something a little different Ustalav being somewhat loosely based on Transylvania I was thinking traditional balkan music and music with an Arabesque and Turkish beat.

It's not only the dualiastic being that Pharasma is but the fact how she closely mirrors the Aeons. Gozreh as well to a lesser extent in that the weather the wind and water are both life giving and destructive.
I recently read about the Aeons in bestiary 2, What stuck out instantly was the similarity they possess to Pharasma. I noticed how their concerns are very similar both deal with life and death, both are dispassionate and extremely enigmatic. So here's a question could Pharasma have once been an Aeon who rose to godhood. After she wouldn't be the first outsider to have done this. Or is she an aspect of Monad?
I kind of view the history of Golarion as rise and fall. There was the Earthfall event which set everything back to stone age level for a thousand years. Civilizations rose after but wars and other natural disasters brought them low. Lets not forget occasional ravages of Rovagaug spawn

She also has a secret only her friends know. She is secretly having a relationship with her daughters fiance Anton who is extremely jealous and possesive of her but he loves her and intends to marry her one day. (He had problems with Alexite at the end of Bastards of Erebus.)

I can't really think of one that is worth it most of the time, unless you have a way of applying it for free. Well Extend Spell is decent and worth using. There will always be one spell or other you will want extended. Pretty much any spell that I want extened is not worth the higher level spell slot. Buffs are either 1 combat, 1 dungeon, or 1 day. Some are dependant on level, like 10 minute/lvl buffs that go from 1 combat to 1 dungeon at higher levels or hour per level going up 1 day at higher levels, but doubling anything is usually not worth the decrease in power. Like I said, if I can't get it for free, metamagic is more or less useless. So an extended invisibiity cast on a rogue who needs to scout ahead to gather intel is not worth it? The extend spell can at least ensure he can have a decent amount of time or of course having an extended fly spell is always useful for something. Invisibility lasts 1 minute per level. A 2 minute per level version is not worth a 3rd level spell slot in most situations, and no prepared caster would ever spend the slot ahead of time to prepare it. It has slightly more usefullness to a spontaneous caster, who doesn't need to think they will need an extended scouting party ahead of time. Besides, the rogue should mostly be relying on his stealth ability, and does not really need invisibility to perform this task. He could probably bennefit just as much from 2 castings of vanish on a wand. All well and good what you state, I agree that a 2 minute spell is usually not worth a third level spell slot, however what if you don't have a wand of invis, or one with low charges and no rod, then you have to make a call there.
But as Vuron stated extend can give a certain edge an extended rope trick can ensure from fifth level that the party can get a decent nights sleep without any encounters or being affected by adverse weather.
I can also add an extended arcane eye is usually invaluable in the sense that you can scout a decent size area.
Extended darkvision another invaluable spell especially if your in the darklands and the party lacks darkvision.

I honestly don't think he should be able to adjust his spells like that at all. Want a more powerful effect? Use a more powerful spell. You've got levels and levels of them. You hearken back to the days of first edition when you didn't need feats at all. However with the way spells have been lowered in power over the editions the feats are necessary to compensate especially when it comes to duration

The only way people want to use it is for free. Be it a class feature or DMM or rods.
If you NEED metamagic to make a spell perform the way you want, the spell is written poorly. It should just perform that way. You shouldn't have to spend feats on it. However the feats do keep the wizard in line. If he didn't have to use a feat to increase damage or duration or range (and all the rest) people would scream he is too powerful.

Evocation for the most part is fine. It is balanced enough to deal an appropriate amount of damage at the specific levels without stealing the glory from the other classes. I personally would alter two spells from the school. Cone of cold I believe should have a dice cap at 20 not at 15. And I also believe Polar ray an eighth level spell should have no dice cap and do d8 damage take the dexterity drain out. After all it is eighth level and it only hits one target. So its one shot affair and it should count for something.
Now the oh so controversial save or die spells alot of people love to hate. Personally I think they should have been left alone. It gave player characters a chance at taking out a bbeg with one shot and of course vive versa. It added a tension and edge of danger to the game on both sides and a huge element of chance.

the question is..
I am an oracle twelfth level
I Have The bones mystery.
I have a heavy full plate armor. The Revelation "Armor of Bones" is added or replace the armor bonus?
I Have 9 or 17 (9+4+2+2) in my armor bonus?
another question..
*In your opinion, what is the sense of "death's touch" I can use already inflict wounds.. in my opinion i.w. is stronger..
*it is better the revelation "raise the dead" or "undead servitude"? I think raise the dead..
*what is the best undead that I could create whit the spell "animate dead"? (I'm oracle 12 level)
Because Armor of Bones is an Armor Bonus it does not stack with your Full Plate Armor, Instead it replaces it.
Death touch has a slight advantage of being a supernatural power meaning it can bypass Spell Resistance, however the damage is minor, basically its good as a last resort or if a creature is almost dead and you don't want to burn a spell slot.
Between Raise the Dead and Undead Servitude its a dilemma if you want quality or quantity. Raise the Dead you can only use once per day but you get a reliable servant. However it is kind of weak and it is only one which may or may not make a great difference. Undead Servitude allows 3+Charisma Modifier times per day, however the undead receive a will save which is their strong save. Its a risk but you can possibly ge more undead under your command and stronger undead. However it depends on the campaign you are playing you could be stuck with a dead revelation if there are no undead to command. Whereas Raise the Dead is a sure thing.
With Animate dead the best undead you could create is a zombie it states that in the spell. You can command up to 4HD per level worth of skeletons and zombies. I.E. your a 12th level oracle you can create up to 48 HD worth of skeletons and zombies.
