Hi everyone. I'm really sorry, but I'm afraid I'm in a particularly busy period in my life both at work and personally, so I'm going to need to step away from online play for a bit. With that said, I'm going to have to drop out of this game. Sorry for any complications my absence might cause. Thanks for your understanding.

Robun follows along unarmed behind the others, having left his weapons behind at Heidmarch manor. All he has left to him are his chain shirt (easily concealed beneath his robes), and his shield, which he covers with a cloth in a manner similar to Orst. He plays the part of Toral's scribe, a role he actually is well suited for, as he spends most of his time outside of missions copying religions texts or Pathfinder Chronicles for posterity.

Life Link heals Walla 5 points as Robun takes 5 points of damage from her

Finding an opportunity to contribute to the fight, Robun moves over beside Frost and draws his simple club. He raises the weapon and waits for an opportunity to strike, then brings the club down to hit the invisible foe in Frost's arms.

Robun reels from the burst of flames, but manages to shield himself somewhat. Looking around and still unable to see the rest of the enemies in the room, the friar shouts out to his companions. "I'm sorry, my friends, but I must do what I can to keep you in fighting condition! I only hope our enemies won't also benefit."

Channel Energy. I don't think Selective Channel will allow me to exclude enemies I can't see, but obviously, I'm excluding the unconscious one.

Friar Robun also delays, not having the martial skill of his companions to track down and fight invisible foes.

"Be careful, my friends! That is a wall of nausea. You will need a supremely strong stomach to pass through it." Darn, only 10 levels short of being immune to that effect from the spell. >_<

The friar moves up and positions himself just shy of the wall, not wanting to subject himself to the effects of the magic.

Friar Robun moves up and releases a burst of healing light that washes over his allies, while leaving the fallen Nalme in the darkness.

Moving up behind the others, Robun drops a healing wand from his wrist sheath and uses it to cast a spell to heal the wounds he has taken onto himself. (Use CLW wand on myself)

Robun moves into the chamber and raises his holy symbol, calling upon Sarenrae to shine her brilliant light to purge the darkness from these wicked people.

Move 30ft and cast Burst of Radiance. Targets in a 10ft radius from the burst I've placed on the map must attempt a DC 16 Reflex save. Creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at the Reflex save. Evil creatures in the area of the burst take 1d4 points of damage per caster level (max 5d4), whether they succeed at the Reflex save or not.

BoR damage: 5d4 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 1, 4) = 11

Robun casts an extended Shield of Faith on himself, then taps Walla with a healing spell that fills her with added health.

Sorry, got bogged down yesterday and missed the will save.

Will vs phantasm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Robun follows his companions closely, keeping a hand ready to bless the nearest ally with additional vigor should the need arise.

Robun is going to travel right behind Walla for the time being. If we get into a scrape, his first action will be to cast a Cure Spell on her, which, thanks to his Spirit Boost revelation, will give her 5 temp hp that will last up to 5 rounds. Hopefully that'll help keep her above the Life Link threshold a little longer.

Robun raises his hands and a corona of light radiates out to touch his allies and fill them with hope and courage.
Move and cast Bless (+1 morale bonus on attack and saves vs fear for 5 minutes)

"A project? Interesting! What kind of project, if I may ask." Unlike Frost, Robun maintains his distance from Chauncey. He has a strong suspicion he knows what type of "agent" this man is, and has a feeling like his healing magic will be put to use very soon.

"Hullo, friend! Good health and sun's light to you! From the look of things, it seems like either you've been here a good while, or you've some friends further in the ruins to share the vine's gift with you. Tell us, will they come join us to share in taking in the ruins?"

When the group assembles in the morning, Friar Robun is looking healthier than you have seen him in a long time, though his skin still flakes and his sores still ooze in an unbecoming and off-putting way. Still, he is ready to move out with the group, and remains impressed by the skills and knowledge of his fellow Pathfinders, particularly Toral, who seems to be a font of information. "Have you walked these streets before, Toral? It's like you could be our guide to the city and its surrounds!"

Purchased a Belt of Mighty Consititution +2 to help boost the old HP a bit more when I need to take some wounds for the team.
With that in mind, I'm going to set up my Life Link with Walla and Fox for the time being.

Friar Robun stares around in wonder at the appointment of Heidmarch Manor. "This is a lovely home, Lady Heidmarch. More to the point, I'm glad to be part of this mission. The loss of life at the Grand Convocation was an affront to the Dawnflower. I hope I can help to bring some justice to those responsible through our efforts here. On the subject of items available for recovery--do we have any intelligence about particular artifacts that might be on the premises of the Bronze House?"

"Should we check on Jirandiel's ship, in case there are more slaves aboard that we can help?"

"I only sense the flames, Brother Orst. I would not wish any of us to risk our lives simply for a bit of treasure, but if we feel this would be important to our mission, perhaps we should push forward."

I don't think water blocks it. See the section on barriers from the spell description below

The spell can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.

GM mentioned that we're getting near the end over on Discord and that we should make sure all our info is correct on the reporting info slide.

Looking at the orb, "This is a a very powerful magical item but I have no idea what it does!"

Down in the grotto, "Interesting. I wonder who put these continual flames here? Are any of you particularly good swimmers? Spells like this usually must be cast upon something, and unless the caster placed the spell on a rock down below, there's a chance it could be on some sort of treasure. Maybe the story of the sea monster was just Jirandiel's way of scaring off her crew from trying to steal her most prized treasures."

Once the search of the manion's above ground rooms is complete, Friar Robun follows along with the party, standing near the middle of the pack, so he can quickly reach out and grant anyone who needs it a quick boost.

Accompanying Frost into Jirandiel's room, Robun looks at the orb. "I'm not expert on magic, Frost, but I will be glad to look it over if it would help."

Cast Detect Magic on the orb and try to determine what it does via Spellcraft.

While the team goes about their various tasks--interrogating the revived pirates, investigating the rest of the manor, helping revive the enslaved Pathfinders--Friar Robun does what he does best and tends to everyone's wounds, including his own! With his trust healing wand, he restores everyone to health.

Using my wand of Cure Light Wounds to get everyone healed up while we go around doing all this investigation stuff since I don't have a lot of helpful skills to lend to the effort.

Did I miss something about stolen goods? I mean, I know they're pirates and all that, but was there some part of this mission that had to do with recovering stolen goods?

Paralyzed by fear of Frost's wrath, Friar Robun finds his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth. When he finally croaks out his feelings on the matter, his normally jovial demeanor has disappeared. "C-come now, Frost. I certainly understand that Phlegos is a scoundrel, but we have orders to bring the man in for further questioning if possible. He poses no threat to anyone now. Perhaps a less hasty interrogation will pry more truth from him than your...er...rather severe methods have produced."

He turns then to the enslaved Pathfinders. "My friends, we are glad to find you living. Please, I understand your wish to report your findings to the venture captain, but can you tell us anything of what you have experienced here?"

GM - I stated in my previous post that I wanted to end my Life Link with Walla and Ryker. That is a free action, so I shouldn't have absorbed their damage on my turn.

Robun moves around into the larger room outside the corridor, then waits until his foxy friend comes out as well to channel energy to heal himself and his allies.

Move, then prepare an action to channel once Fox comes into the larger room and can be affected by the emanation of my channel. Excluding both enemies thanks to Selective Channel.

Prepared Channel: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1) = 10

Moving ahead and standing astride the dead tengu warpriest, Robun calls upon Sarenrae's light and blasts these new foes!

Cast Burst of Radiance. Both targets are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a DC16 Reflex. Regardless of their save, both targets take the damage below if they are evil.
I'm also going to spend a free action to end my Life Link with Walla and Ryker. I'm starting to get low on health with these back to back fights!

Robun once again feels the sting of the tengu's dark god and nearly vomits from the life-sapping force. When the enemy finally falls, he composes himself long enough to draw out a wand and offer healing to any who need it.

Drawing a wand of cure light wounds and moving up to join the others. Can't heal anyone this round, but at least the gang's all together.

Robun takes more of Ryker's wounds onto himself as the rogue flees. He is tempted to follow--this foe is proving far too resilient for Robun's comfort--but in the end he decides his other companions are still in the greatest danger. He once again raises his holy symbol to the heavens and sends another pulse of healing light to wash over himself and his allies.

Channel (exclude tengu if w/in range): 3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6) = 10

Now that Walla and Ryker are in better shape, Robun focuses on helping the small fox. He cautiously moves ahead and reaches down to stroke the fox's fur with a hand glowing with healing energy.

Yes, please move me into position to affect the entire party!

Once again, Robun feels the deadly energy wash over him, but this time he is ready, and he resists the pulse. Growing furious despite his fear and his wounds, the friar raises his ankh high and shouts, "The light of the Dawn will burn away the vile stain of your presence in this world!"

Life Link to take 5 points each off Walla and Ryker again, then channel again

Channel: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4) = 12

Then I'm going to 5ft step back out of the enemy's channel radius

Will vs channel: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Robun cringes from the surge of negative energy, then feels his life force further diminished as he absorbs some of the wounds Ryker and Walla are suffering.

Life Link heals Ryker and Walla 5 points each, and Robun takes that 10 damage himself.

Bleeding freely, Robun shuffles into the hall behind the rest of the party and counters the tengu's evil energy with his own pulse of life-giving force.

Channel Energy: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5) = 12

Channel will affect the whole party, and shouldn't hit the tengu, but in case it does, Robun will exclude them (via Selective Channel)

"D-do not fear, my friends! No foe can stand against us when the light of the Dawn is behind us!" Robun raises his holy symbol, and the Sarenite ankh radiates light across the party, inspiring them to greater prowess in the fight.

Cast Bless
+1 morale bonus on attack rolls, saves vs fear for 5 minutes

In the intervening minute...

"Oh...m-m-me take the cloak? Well, I suppose you are right. It doesn't help anyone if it's just being packed away. Thank you, Orst. May you always see the Dawn until your own deity calls you to themselves." Robun gives Orst a bow and accepts the cloak, then puts it on over his shabby priest's robes and chain shirt.

As the door opens...

"AAAARRRGGHHH! Who are you, you villain?!"

Friar Robun picks up the pearl with interest. "If you all don't mind, this would likely help me continue providing you all with the protection and healing I can offer."

He leaves the rest to the other members of the team.

I can technically attempt stealth, but I'm not much good at it. I will follow the others' lead, though.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

[b]"These people are unconscious, Fox. I see no reason to restrain them. By the time they come to, we're likely to be long gone! At least...I ohpe so. Although we're removing their equipment, so what harm can they really do if they do wake up?"[b]

Assuming there's time for some quick actions...

As Robun strides into the room and sees the group's handywork, especially Ryker's, he tuts, "Oh come now, friends, surely you didn't need to stab him in the throat, did you? Ugh...that's far too much blood. Please, allow me..." With that, he stabilizes the rest of the brigands, beginning with the spellcaster and working back to the second one by the doors.

Casting Stabilize on everyone in here if they're not already gone.

After this, he looks to the rest of the team. "Ah, those are some nasty wounds there, Frost. Would you care for some of the Dawnflower's grace?"

Robum hurries around the end of the stairs now that he can see again and casts a spell to keep one of the pirates alive. "In case we want to interrogate them, you know?" he adds in an aside to Orst and Fox.

Move then cast Stabilize on Orange

This time around, the caster’s spell catches Robun off guard, and he tries desperately to blink away the blinding dust as he stumbles along the wall until he finds some cover behind the stairs.

Robun moves to get a better view of the foes in the next room and returns the spell caster's attempt at blinding him and his friends with his own attempt to do the same. There is a brilliant flash in the room, leaving two of the foes blinking.

Cast Burst of Radiance (yellow circle marks the area of effect). Creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a Reflex save. Evil creatures in the area of the burst take 1d4 points of damage per caster level (max 5d4), whether they succeed at the Reflex save or not.

As Walla and Orst try to pull Robun up from the stone, hauling him up from beneath his arms, he sheepishly apologizes, "Oh, I am sorry about the smell, my friends! Thank you so much for your help, though. This is quite uncomfortable!"
