because I don't have a 4th level evocation spell yet. It's one spell if I match or two if I don't. 11th level my greater counterspell will let me counter 1 to 1 regardless of school.

I'm trying to parse the ability as shown below. Nowhere does it say that you expend two spells of one level less if you do not have a spell of the level being dispelled, only that it may take more than one spell slot. Frankly, I just assumed the sum of the lost spell levels had to match the dispelled spell level. In these cases I am usually missing something. Why do you think it takes 2 3rd level spells to dispel the 4th level spell? Is it somewhere I am not reading? Did you find an explanation elsewhere on line? Am I just missing something in that paragraph?

Song of Arcane Manipulation (Su): At 10th level, a spell warrior can sacrifice his own rage magic to counter an opponent’s spell. When using raging song, he can counterspell as an immediate action without interrupting his raging song. However, in addition to expending a spell slot (or spell slots) to attempt to counter the opponent’s spell, the skald must expend 1 round of raging song per spell level of the opponent’s spell (for example, if attempting to counterspell a 3rd-level spell, the skald must expend one of his own 3rd-level spell slots and 3 rounds of raging song). This ability replaces the dirge of doom raging song.

Yanda flies up next to Mykel (and above him), takes out a Holy Weapon Balm, and applies it to Mykel's weapon of choice (assumedly his rapier).

Taking a breath now that she is out of the smoke, she says, "Mind if I add this to your weapon, Mykel? It should help against the mummy."

Frankly, lobbing bombs when there is a large miss chance is not the best idea.

20' increment on the bomb, thus the -2 to hit, 10' increment on the alchemist fire, thus the -6 to his on that. Both were include in the rolls.

The alchemist fire does 10 splash damage and the bomb does 15, thanks to good hope. Only the bomb provides a reflex save for half, the alchemist fire does full damage.

The one that actually hit (the only one I did not roll a nat 1 on) does 25 and causes the mummy to catch fire.

Please add 2 to Yanda's damage and splash damage for good hope and +1 to the to hit for haste. Adding an additional attack for haste here:

    Targetting a creature wrapped in old cloth with fire makes a good bet, so...

    Yanda launches her alchemist's fire and then a bomb at the 'mummy'. Then she floats back to make some room (fly skill is at +21 so no roll needed).

    I just reread this lately. For a knowledge roll a successful check allows you to remember a bit of useful information about that monster. For every 5 points by which your check result exceeds the DC, you recall another piece of useful information. So if that DC 15 is the target Yanda would get an answer to what are its resistances, which will probably affect her action.

    Clarifications needed.

    The door we came through slammed shut. Did the oil that is filling the room break through that door and make its way into the pit, or should we retcon that bit? How thick is the door and how hard would it be to break through it, assuming it is still a barrier.

    Once the eels are taken care of, Yanda flies after it and lands on its back. She will use a dagger to pry it off she then fly back if all goes well.

    Just look for unopened doors on the map. The 'time dialation trap' happened in the ladder shaped area where, no matter how long you walked you ended up back where you started. Part of the trap is that the door to the west back to the spire can NOT be opened or bypassed in any way. We are hoping once we conquer the rest of this area, it will open for us.

    So we can go to one of the doors that lead to the blanked out north section, which will most likely not offer a solution, but should be explored out of thoroughness, or one of the doors leading to the southeast blanked out section where, I am assuming, the BBEG lives.
