Is the DM arguing with himself? I have heard (and personally experienced) that long-term DMing can cause increasing symptoms of schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder on the highest of levels. Especially when the person is not particularly stable to begin with. ;)

Try some healing magic on the girl, please. Maybe a little basic first aid. Can we please also detect evil on her and the surroundings? Is she warm to the touch? Breathing? Any serious wounds? Vivisection? Any organs or bones exposed? How does she smell? Anything of interest on her person? She IS alive, no? And what of these amulets? Should we leave the magic items with Kassen? Close up his crypt? Loot the crypt? Leave it for someone else? We should quickly divide the spoils, as well, so they may be used right away. I wonder what happened to Asar to get him all up and walking and talking? Is it possible than Kassen will rise, as well? We should make sure he isn't about to sit up and necrophy us. So many questions in my little brain...

While Rolande resolves his stuff; I am consuming the Invisibility Potion - just stating it for the record - prior to pushing the door open. I am also readying 2 flasks of oil. Let's Get Anaba and Buchart on in there and I will cruise in invisibly. Buchart is right, y'all are the decoy. I am hoping for a fatal wicked thief back stab from the old school as my last action. Going to splash some oil around first and do other, not attacking things while I am invisible. Pouring oil and striking flint to tinder are not considered attacks (I looked it up). I may also head over to check on our captive/victim/future undead minion, if given the opportunity. I will preserve my Invis until the last possible moment.

I know little of the arcane arts, but it seem like now would be the time to ready all the big spells and protective magic, etc. It will do no good once we have completed our mission; or died trying. I also strongly suggest we use any of the items we have gathered on our way. Cela: Scrol of Barkskin? On Fahari Anaba: Potion of Bull's strength? Oil of magic weapons we have 4 doses. Let's pass 'em out. Rolande: Elixer of Tumbling ? Fernleaf: I shall ready the Invisibility potion. Anyone else? These are merely suggestions while going through our list of expendables. I will take any buffs available, including Mage Armor, if possible, please.

I crawl into the corner of the pit and cry. I will take the opportunity to search around in the pit, as well (while softly crying in pain). "I am such a failure. My auntie always said "Don't ever leave the house without... something. I had already left the house so never heard the rest of her wisdom..." Anybody else left down here from bygone days? Any fresh brains? Rats or other vermin? Tattered clothing? Bones? *thinking seriously about this Undead Comic gig and the insanity of adventuring. Also, wondering what frog brains taste like. Butter and garlic keep being mentioned...*

I will move up a little closer in case I am needed to save the day (at great personal cost and through shear heroism). I will ask Fahari to go in front of me. To gain strategic advantage... of course. No other reason than that. Tactics. Strategy. It smells like amphibian around here. Makes the hair on my toes stand up...

I will check for traps on the door, discover if it is locked, etc. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 I will then get the Hell out of the way and step to the back. Please manage the movement on the map for me. I am not sure how jostling through the hallway might work with so many people in the way. But I am small - like 2 ft small - so should be able to run under people and between their legs, etc.

I do not see any opportunities for line of site bow fire without taking off my companions' heads. I DO NOT want to swim. Hobbitses do not like water or boats. I am more concerned with the scary sounds from the door behind me. I instinctually do not want to have my back to that. The frogs scare me more than the skellies. And the water scares me almost as much as the Frogs. So in my little mind: FROGS > WATER > SKELLIES Remembering the picture from the old Monster Manual (?) of the Giant Frog with a Halfling's feet sticking out of its mouth) I will hold action and keep an eye on the various dangers and wait for an opportunity to be helpful. I will NOT continue into deeper water. I will not try to swim. "Come and get me you dead assed corpses!! I dare ya!!

I will attempt to move as far as I can and enter the fray when able. I pull out my bow and blunt arrows. I will move as much as Halflingly possible. Please adjust me on the map if I can move more Also, I am concerned about big old froggies in the room to our North. I am thinking maybe we clear that room before going further. After we deal with the skellies, of course.
