I will roll for the Bag of Holding, please.

I am contributing the necessary funds (my share of the treasure plus the rest off my sheet. 2500 GP total).

Roll for Bag O Holding: 1d20 ⇒ 5

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

3 xp = 1 level - I'm going to work with anyone who needs it leveling their character.

I have PCGen, but not Hero Lab. I could transpose into PCGen and take control of it, but you have done the whole thing up until now. I would, in fact gladly move it to my domain, if you like.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I would indeed love to have a Bag O Holding. :) And I can possible afford it, too.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Is it cleared? Is there anything else here?

Shall we take the girl back to her pathetic brother and get out?

What about the amulet?

Healing on girl she is at -1? Maybe you can ask her some questions To he'll with her let's loot the place silly! Lol

Is the DM arguing with himself? I have heard (and personally experienced) that long-term DMing can cause increasing symptoms of schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder on the highest of levels. Especially when the person is not particularly stable to begin with. ;)

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Try some healing magic on the girl, please. Maybe a little basic first aid.

Can we please also detect evil on her and the surroundings?

Is she warm to the touch? Breathing? Any serious wounds? Vivisection? Any organs or bones exposed? How does she smell? Anything of interest on her person? She IS alive, no?

And what of these amulets?

Should we leave the magic items with Kassen? Close up his crypt? Loot the crypt? Leave it for someone else? We should quickly divide the spoils, as well, so they may be used right away.

I wonder what happened to Asar to get him all up and walking and talking? Is it possible than Kassen will rise, as well? We should make sure he isn't about to sit up and necrophy us.

So many questions in my little brain...

M Halfling Rogue L2

Damn you guys are good. I never even got to stab the thing. Well done!!

I quickly go to the victim/hostage/science experiment towards the back of the room. I will observe her and her surroundings, including the sarcophagus.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

We were thinking Fighter types and mages on boss, less combat-oriented folks along the edges keeping skellies occupied and rescuing/killing the hostage.I am going to ignite some pools of oil between skellies and boss, if possible, along with some other things, as stated.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

So officially, I am holding action (other than what is stated above) until the larger folk move past, in order to really obscure me and provide a moving fence. Please let me know when I should make my movement.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

While Rolande resolves his stuff; I am consuming the Invisibility Potion - just stating it for the record - prior to pushing the door open. I am also readying 2 flasks of oil. Let's Get Anaba and Buchart on in there and I will cruise in invisibly. Buchart is right, y'all are the decoy. I am hoping for a fatal wicked thief back stab from the old school as my last action. Going to splash some oil around first and do other, not attacking things while I am invisible. Pouring oil and striking flint to tinder are not considered attacks (I looked it up). I may also head over to check on our captive/victim/future undead minion, if given the opportunity. I will preserve my Invis until the last possible moment.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I know little of the arcane arts, but it seem like now would be the time to ready all the big spells and protective magic, etc. It will do no good once we have completed our mission; or died trying.

I also strongly suggest we use any of the items we have gathered on our way.

Cela: Scrol of Barkskin? On Fahari

Anaba: Potion of Bull's strength?

Oil of magic weapons we have 4 doses. Let's pass 'em out.

Rolande: Elixer of Tumbling ?

Fernleaf: I shall ready the Invisibility potion.

Anyone else?

These are merely suggestions while going through our list of expendables.

I will take any buffs available, including Mage Armor, if possible, please.

I will look the door over. Is there a keyhole?

I will look for traps too:

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

I am wondering if my magic key might work here.

I will pull out the key(s) I have. I think I have them both right now, but perhaps not.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I suggest this:

I will trigger the trap. Someone fast run across the area while the trap has sprung and is resetting. There is likely an off switch up here somewhere. I could run if needed, but I have short legs...

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I sit down in disgust, hiding my face within my cloak.

"I can't do it. Sorry guys."

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will absently "try" one more time.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Is there anything above us we could tie ropes to? Thinking we could Tarzan swing across the pressure plate.

Or, we could build a bridge out of bones

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Disable Device: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13

"The Black Knight Always Triumphs!!"

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I crawl into the corner of the pit and cry. I will take the opportunity to search around in the pit, as well (while softly crying in pain).

"I am such a failure. My auntie always said "Don't ever leave the house without... something. I had already left the house so never heard the rest of her wisdom..."

Anybody else left down here from bygone days? Any fresh brains? Rats or other vermin? Tattered clothing? Bones?

*thinking seriously about this Undead Comic gig and the insanity of adventuring. Also, wondering what frog brains taste like. Butter and garlic keep being mentioned...*

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Oof..

Ok I will try one more time.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Thanks for the curing and lifting.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

On second thought, maybe we rig up some ropes and swing or walk our way across then... It will look much more dramatic.

*starts to get rope from backpack*

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I shall attempt to disable this device.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Cela is AFK until this afternoon. I can attempt to help with her toon

I will immediately check for traps and so forth in the area that Cela notices.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I am glad to help lead you through.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I concur with Rolande's well spoken suggestions. The marching order sounds like a good for for a lot of situations. We should make it Default Marching Order Alpha.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Thanks Buchart.

Do we smell any better after our wading session with the skellies and frogs? I know I was up to my neck.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

we could chase them out the other side with the sunrod. Once the door is open.

Or burning is good. It might take a while, though.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

How 'bout we sneak through quietly. I could go first, see what's in there and open any doors on the other side.

Can I please use the Ring O' Swimming? It would make me feel safer...

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Posting on Cela's behalf:

Cela will use the defective wand of flame for the duration of its duration, then move into melee and help with Fahari.

Fahari will continue to attack most ferociously.

Please defer to DM for rolls

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

More bow fire on #2

Short Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Short Bow damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I shall do so

Firing at Freakfrog #2. Oh how I loathe you...

Short Bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Short Bow damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will move up behind Rolande with bow out and ready to skewer froggies.

I do not like it here. How deep is the water at my current position (near the door)? My kitten friend has left me!!

Can I shoot around Rolande into the room?

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will move up a little closer in case I am needed to save the day (at great personal cost and through shear heroism). I will ask Fahari to go in front of me. To gain strategic advantage... of course. No other reason than that. Tactics. Strategy.

It smells like amphibian around here. Makes the hair on my toes stand up...

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Strong and/or big people should kick down the doors now!

I will get sharp arrows and prepare to shoot from a distance, if possible/necessary. From the back. Behind the big people. A bit back, like in the rear kinda...

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

*shudder*

Ok I like my idea. Let's do it! Kill the Frogs!! They must die.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will creep back to what I think is the door and listen carefully for sounds of froggies.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

If necessary.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

we could bum rush them. Half the party come in from each door simultaneously. Shoot in from this side as Rolande suggests, then break down the other door during/after the confusion. One tank, one spellcaster at each door and divide the rest logically.

I will guard the rear...

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will check for traps on the door, discover if it is locked, etc.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

I will then get the Hell out of the way and step to the back.

Please manage the movement on the map for me. I am not sure how jostling through the hallway might work with so many people in the way. But I am small - like 2 ft small - so should be able to run under people and between their legs, etc.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I can't breathe easily with the frogs in their making their horrible noises.

*shudder*

Someone big go up and kill them. Please.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Grease floats on water.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

You probably already turned it into bone splinters just with normal damage though

Word ^^^^^^

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Anaba Crits!!! You get to roll some more :) Yay!! Bye bye Mr. Skellie!

Dark Archive

I do not see any opportunities for line of site bow fire without taking off my companions' heads. I DO NOT want to swim. Hobbitses do not like water or boats. I am more concerned with the scary sounds from the door behind me. I instinctually do not want to have my back to that. The frogs scare me more than the skellies. And the water scares me almost as much as the Frogs.

So in my little mind:

FROGS > WATER > SKELLIES

Remembering the picture from the old Monster Manual (?) of the Giant Frog with a Halfling's feet sticking out of its mouth)

I will hold action and keep an eye on the various dangers and wait for an opportunity to be helpful.

I will NOT continue into deeper water. I will not try to swim.

"Come and get me you dead assed corpses!! I dare ya!!

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Do it for the kids!

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will attempt to move as far as I can and enter the fray when able. I pull out my bow and blunt arrows.

I will move as much as Halflingly possible. Please adjust me on the map if I can move more

Also, I am concerned about big old froggies in the room to our North. I am thinking maybe we clear that room before going further. After we deal with the skellies, of course.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will fill a water skin as well.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

The kitty should drink some too.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

WTF. I have nothing to lose. I will drink the water. Maybe it will help.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will scope out the small chamber and look for anything unusual about the fountain.
