Felix digs through his bag and gathers some tools. He takes a sample of hair and determines color and length, checks the blood and compares it to known humanoid types, checks the skeletal structure for height and age based on the compression of the vertebrate, and looks for any distinguishable features such as scars or tattoos on the remaining parts of the body. In essence Felix does the Investigator thang!

Rummaging in his pack, Felix gets out a jar and a set of tongs. Scraping the insect off the floor he puts it in the jar and examines it. Humm, I am not sure that I have ever seen anything like this. Can I make a knowledge check to figure out what the bug is? I have seen spells that cause a person to flee in uncontrolled fear. It should wear off soon, just try not to let her run into something dangerous like a trap or other inhabitants of this place. Felix goes back to looking at the bug and scanning the room for any other oddities without moving to close to anything in particular.

Felix digs in his pack to get out a healing potion to hand to Parfin while holding the lantern out in the hallway occasionally moving his arm erratically attempting to be a harder target for the archer. Parfin, this should help with your wounds, but not your frustration. That requires a drink from a different flask. with that he winks and goes back to making the lantern a hard target.

He would probably bring you back as a animated corpse, I have studied a thing or two about the rejuvenation of the lifeless, while there are some epic spells that an arcanist can aspire too, truly bringing the dead back to life is in the hands of the divine. I have a crowbar and we have some other tools, lets take a couple of these doors off their hinges or break them loose and use them? 2 maybe 3 would get us across the room. Felix does some calculation and measures the nearest door with a calibrated string.

You know Rose, when the builders of this place where working on it, I wonder if they thought all their hard work and effort would become a low rent housing project for gnolls with an ant infestation and a cube bacteria problem. I mean once we clear this place out we should consider fixing it up and renting it out. Could be a seasonal cottage or theme park. Felix looks pensive for a moment and makes some more notes in his book.
