"Quickly, bring her and lay her gently over here." The priest kneels and begins to inspect her pouring water from his flasks over her hands to rid them of any of the toxin. He musters all his skill and knowledge of posions and thier effects to treat Zo. "Refragatio",he says as he places his hands upon her shoulder. "Sarenrae will aid you in this fight." "Die Beast!" Meghdad shouts as he fires another bolt of fire.
Assuiming there is another round, I don't know if I can post later so here is my next action. Hearing Rhade's strategic request the priest moves back out of the way and blasts the bat with another bolt of fire and shouts, "Have at it Rhade!" Move Action: Move back up to 15' to make room for other melee attackers but still keeping ranged sight. Attack Action: Domain Power-Fire Bolt Range Touch Attack (1d20+1=16); Fire Damage (1d6=6)
Summoning the blessings of Sarenrae, Meghdad lauches a bolt of fire at the winged beast as it's attacking Gregori. Domain Power:Fire Bolt Ranged Touch Attack (1d20+1=19); Fire Damage (1d6=4)
"SWEET SARENRAE!" Father Meghdad curses as he swings his scimitar at the attacking bat with as much strength as he can muster. Caught by surprise the attack seems futile and he steps back five feet trying to give himself more room to face off against the creature. Power Attack Hit roll (1d20+4=8); Power Attack Damage roll (1d8+5=13)
"Come out friend, I am sure we can figure out what ever it is you need. Bargle will be on his way soon I am sure, until then let us help." Meghdad speaks calmly to the room trying to coax the owner of the voice out of the closet, a look of disgust crossing his face when he utters Bargle's name. He then listens intently to the response trying to determin if the speaker will be friend or foe.
Meghdad takes Zo's coin and mutters his holy incantation, "Luminarium." It begins to glow with a soft light and he returns it saying, "There you go, it should light your way for a while." He then shuts his eyes trying to scrutinize the shades and hues within the magical aura in an attempt to understand the nature of its power, alas the past hour has been trying and he can not. cast light on the coin; Knoweledge Arcana (1d20+3=5)
"I've found a few live ones. I say we find out what lies beyond the castle doors before we go in uninvited." Meghdad kneels next to the lesser wounded of the two kolbolds and places one hand firmly on the injury and the other over the creatures eyes, "Rememdium lux lucis vulnus." The priest channels the healing power of Sarenrae into the creature. When the kolbold stirs he calmly states, "Easy dog, your bound as my prisoner and you will tell us what we want to know. Otherwise, will throw you back to Bargle!"
Putting his crossbow away Meghdad walks among the Kolbolds checking to see if any are playing possum or if any of them are still breathing but unconcious. He keeps his scimitar at the ready and alert for any tricks they might try to pull. Checking to see if any are not dead but dying with -hp. If he finds one he will use his skills as a healer to stabalize the creature then bind it as a prisoner.
Meghdad shoots and reloads again saying. "We got to stop him, if he dies will just have to bring him back to answer our questions." Attack Roll (w/bless) (1d20+4=12) Damage Roll (1d8=4) Fire Cross bow and reload as move action

Meghdad scowls at the mage a moment and turns to Zo. "Why don't you and Rhade scout around while greedy grabs his spoils. Gregori, it might be best if your down to protect him while Cordilia and I stay here and cover you from the edge of the pit." Moving to the edge of the hole, the priest unslings his light crossbow and knocks a bolt to the string while watching for movement of the enemy.
Meghdad stands frozen watching as the creature falls, mentaly cursing himself for getting so close, especially after Rhade's warning. Time seems endless as the unparalyzed start to explore the creatures lair. When the stiffness melts from his limbs, the priest gasps in a deep breath of air finaly able to move freely again. He stands shaking the tingling sensation from his limbs as the blood begins to flow freely agian and Gregori comes to check on him. "I'll be fine lad, no stiffer now than then when I wake up off the hard ground these days. Should have known better than to get that close. Let's get over to that pit and see whats going on." He joins the others at the side of the pit. "So they know we're here? Then lets knock the door off it's hinges and finally bring justice to that bastard."
"OOOF!," Meghdad gasps as the creature collides into him knocking him back. Not easily shaken the priest thrusts his free hand forward and calling upon Sarenrae's influance of fire shouts, "Igneus Manuum!" Searing flames leap from his fingers to engulf the creature infront of him. Cast burning hands domain power for fire damage (3d4=10)
Father Meghdad kneels down in a silent prayer to Sarenrae. Then he turns to the others, "We have once again come to the apex of our quest, gods willing we will finally come face to face with the murderer Bargle and be done with this. Again I thank each of you for dedicating these years to avenging my daughter." Then the cleric turns to the statue and the surrounding area and incants, "Deprehensio veneficus" while scrutinizing the stone and the surrounding area. cast detect magic
As Cordelia leads him away from the confrontation the old priest drops his weary head, the grief was heavy on his shoulders and everyone could see it. If it hadn't been for the sorceress he probably would have thrown the Halfling overboard before arriving in Baslwief, and once again her intervention has diffused the situation. ”Thank you dear, your patience and composure are gifts of Sarenrae I seem to have lost. It would be wise of me to heed your example, but the half an ass always finds the words that inflame the pain in my heart. You have been as good a friend to me as you were to Aleena, her letters mentioned you often.” As the adventures press on he longs for the dusty streets of civilization while staying closes to the sorceress sharing tales of Aleena’s childhood with her.

If it's profits you seek then why have you travled these past two years? I doubt my only daughter was in anyway able to aid you in finacial endevours so why do you endure our sorrowful company?
Meghdad awoke from a restless sleep and rubbed the tiredness from his eyes. He gave pause trying to discern the source of the shout that echoed his innermost desires but gave up as Aleena’s adventuring companions began to stir around the fire. The aged priest stood, stretched his aching back, and not for the first time thought about how revenge was a young mans obligation. Watching Gregori caress Aleena’s blade he approaches the Knight of Sarenrae and speaks softly, “Soon the time will come when we can finally lay her to rest. Bargle will pay with his life for what he has stolen from us.” He starts to walk away but pauses saying, “These past two years you have never relented in our quest. Though I didn’t approve or your relationship with my daughter I can say now you were good for her. She would be proud of you, and I would have been honored to call you son.” Without another word Meghdad turns to the fire to join the others and break his fast.
