I think we need to recruit some more slayers to dispose him. Maybe those that didn't make the cut? If four of us cannot handle him, we need maybe two more people to back us up. Yeah, it's over once we run out of abilities to avoid his damage. We don't have a healer. We don't have someone who can keep him in place. And this is easy mode even. That was a good run. Shows that we can stall him for at least 3 rounds.
Summary of Fagila's turn and misc: (1) Fagila uses disjunction against Eglian and silence field after Oro and Planetar moved out of the spell radius and draws another scroll of disjunction. (2) Eglian attacks her which she dodged using her hero point. (3) Eglian attacks Dazenth instead provoking AoO from him. Fagila will ONLY activate her meek facade if one of Dazenth AoO misses. If meek facade activated, Eglian will have to attack Dazenth for entire round until after her next turn. (4) Eglian fireball the party. Fagila's contingency activates, teleporting the party back to the entrance, placing them in squares that would bar Eglian from reaching her.
40 ft radius is such a huge area. Fagila aimed a little north from Oros previous position in round 2 after he moved so all of us are safe from the effect. All of you have 1 temp hero point. You can use it to save yourselves once if you are in a pinch. Fagila and her mount used theirs to save themselves though it will cost them their turn.
Regarding intimidate, he will still get shaken or frightened if he is in areas with total darkness. If he can just re-hide which is troublesome then yes, she will go disjunction route (ignore intimidate route) and disjunctions him and the silence field (not sure if it allows holy word to go through) after Oros moved from the area that she targets. Meek facade aggros him to keep attacking Dazenth until her next turn which is after Eglian's first set of actions the least if it did activate. To the party, feel free to place yourself where ever you like if it can bar the vampire from targeting her delicate body and remember that you still have a hero point you can use. UMD disjunction: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (5) + 53 = 58
This for round 2 consideration is her actions if disjunction is used if purge and dust does not reveal... Fagila flies off her mount and glare at her true enemy, using same tactic to intimidate her assailant.See latest post in OOC for check and information. This might negate his attacks. If the vampire is not intimidated and disjunction is used... As her foolhardy tactics to survive makes Eglian more determined to shred her, she dodges his attempts by moving away with her own luck (heroic surge), delaying her death yet again, diverting the attacks to Dazenth instead. As he strikes back at Eglian and strikes the party with a fireball, her contingency activates, negating the damage and whisking the party back to the entrance, relocating them into positions that would, bar Eglian from reaching her. If Dazenth misses one of his attacks... Fagila's eye will flashes (meek facade, granting Dazenth +5 dodge AC and aggroing Eglian to focus him for 1 round, can trigger as free action even if it is not her turn when Dazenth misses an attack), compelling the vampire total focus on Dazenth for the blows that the alchemist did not land.

No, I meant that Fagila and Dazenth have done round 1 but not round 2. Fury said that his character would attack Eglian once he is revealed which he has not made checks yet and should have occurred before Eglian's flurry of attacks. If one of his (Dazenth) attacks missed, Eglian will be aggro and must attack Dazenth for an entire round. Fagila's conditional action for round 2 would have expended if purge and glitterdust does not work which the turn will then will proceed as normal. If not, Fagila will edge closer to Eglian (20 ft from him) to put him under hypnotic stare (swift action) and auras then try to demoralize him. Debuffs:
Hypnotic stare: -4 to attacks (-6 attacks vs her), spell resistance, will saves, spells/spell-like ability DC, re-roll fear effects twice, auto-shaken when in darkness. Aura of cowardice: -4 (-6 due to spell) to saves vs fear Haunting refrain: - 4 to saves vs fear
Intimidate: 1d20 + 66 ⇒ (5) + 66 = 71 He will need to make Will Save 27 or be panicked for 1d4: 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds and frightened after. If he is panicked, Fagila will not trigger meek facade on Dazenth.
Before the attacks strikes true, Fagila whisk her mount and herself away from the danger when she realizes that she has been tricked. Cast defensively if needed vs DC 25: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (1) + 26 = 27
Using temp hero point to act out of turn.
Now that I look back at my sheet. I seemed to confused disquiet with nightmare. Disquiet is the one that auto shakens you. But nightmare is the one cause someone to roll their save vs fear effects twice under her stare. And I realized I forgot to include the nightmare effect on my previous post. Will do in the future.
Fagila signs to Gash, waving him to leave the area of silence before whispers to him to scan whether there are protections and magic in the area that is not illuminated that bar her mount from entering that space. If there is, Fagila urges her mount to move to a position in the bright light near her companion to activate scroll of mage's disjunction to invalidate the spells. She will points at the count to issue a challenge (-5 penalty on the vampires saves vs her SLA/spells), retrieved a stone imbued with silence from her glove of storing as a free action and move action to draw another scroll of disjunction to end her turn. UMD: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (13) + 53 = 66 If not, Fagila will spur her mount to double move until she is 20 ft from the vampire, affecting him with her aura of cowardice (negates immunity to fear and -4 penalty to saves vs fear effects). She will swift action use her hypnotic stare at him (-4 penalty to attack, will saves, spell resistance, spell & SLA DC) causing him to be shaken automatically (-2 penalty to attack, saves, skill checks and ability checks) due to her ability to make herself more frightening in the darkness (Nightmare; shaken automatically without save in darkness) and try to intimidate (Will DC 28 or cowered for 1 round or panicked for 1d4: 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds and frightened tereafter) him with a killer smile and the rattling of a chain to either demoralize him into cowering (if fail will save) or frighten him off his throne (frightened condition if succeed will save and succeed in his intimidate check) Intimidate: 1d20 + 66 ⇒ (18) + 66 = 84 If he starts running, her mount will follow to maintain her stare and keep the vampire within her aura of cowardice range. If not, she will urge her mount to retreat near her companions and retrieved stone imbued with silence to end her turn. Retrieving stone as free action will also occur if he is able to shrug her fear off. Stalwart does not work shrug off the shaken effects of her intimidate if he saves. Also, the vampire will suffer a further -4 penalty to save vs fear due to her haunting refrain class feature. Bold is the condition I chose.
Obscuring Mist x2 (on party square extending 20 ft radius and 20 ft radius behind party) and Silence (thrown rock on party square extending 20 ft radius) has been cast. Fagila also has contingency Bard's escape, triggering when any AoE attacks (including dispel and disjunction) hit us. Round 1: Drink Gravelly Tonic Round 2: She will cast boosted accelerate on party giving them extra move action a turn as long as they do not use it with full attack and have her mount move 30 ft from party. Round 3: She will retrieve scroll of time stop and cast it. Time stop round 1 & 2: Scroll of widen aura and draconic malice on herself. Round 4: Instead of having her throw the stone, she will ask her mount to take it from her as move action and throw it onto the ground as standard action. She will use her own standard action to cast mass heroic fortune on the party and move action to take out scroll of disjunction if she hadn't in round 1. Swift actions for her mount and herself are unchanged. More details refer here.
While we are waiting for the dev to respond, I feel the need to bring up the issue that I keep leaving out on my previous posts. In regards how much he can craft for weapons and armor, Fury previously stated that his character could craft a total worth of 58198.75 gp. I did requested for him to craft for Fagila: One +5 mithral buckler
But he posted he can only craft the dagger + armor & shield or dagger + weapon. Normal crafting: 25101.33 (weapon) + 12866.667 (armor) + 12835 (shield) + 4100.67 (dagger) = 55903.67 gp Discounted crafting: 10689.18 (weapon) + 5546.25 (armor) + 5526.07 (shield) + 1764.18 (dagger) = 23525.68 gp Not sure how to work out the numbers for the reduced discounted crafting (whether adding the uncrafted value of the mundane item (e.g uncrafted value for mithral chain shirt which is the price from the store which is 1100 gp) to the normal enhancement price or adding the crafted value of the mundane item (e.g 1/3 of the price of mithral chain shirt due to crafting it yourself) to the normal enhancement price) so I did the former. Anyways, there should be still enough room to wiggle in all of the requested item. Am I missing something or did the figures on the weapon and armor you can craft changed?
The one shot boss is still a vampire. Don't want to die from negative levels. There is another way. We can do it through words of power magic variant. Our cleric can cast a mass death ward on the party if he is willing to waste a feat on experimental spellcaster, select graves bane which is the equivalent of it and boost it to cast the mass version. That way we don't need to waste one round each using the scroll on ourselves. In relative to that, if Gash wants to add more utility to the party, he could take the same feat, choose borrow future and boost it to apply to all of us. It is cheese even if it is nerfed celerity. But we'll need every cheese and action economy against a broken enemy if he is built to be broken.
A few changes on her buffing routine. Scroll of Contingency: 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (17) + 35 = 52
Round 2: She will cast boosted accelerate on party giving them extra move action a turn and have her mount move 30 ft from party. Time stop: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Replaced a 5th level spell known for Music Beyond the Sphere Bardic Masterpiece. She will also have our resident druid cast extended barkskin on her after loaning him her extend rod.
Let's run a trial on a weaker Eglian first before we go for the full-powered one. Before that, I will need to finalize her buffing routine and purchases. By trading out forge ring for another feat, Fagila will need to rely on Dazenth to craft her ring of protection +5 and evasion for her. Do they have the same price reduction as the armor and shield that he crafted for her?
