Edgar replies, "I'm sorry my friend I must have been lost in my thoughts as well. I am just ready to get out of this place. Even though I'm a dwarf this place gives me the creeps."

You hear Edgar mutter under his breath "Fowl witch defiling this place."

Edgar is not going to let this evil witch get away. He charges at her (to Q8) and swings his temple sword at her.

Edgar's Attack w/ Temple Sword: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 = 201d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9

Edgar swings at the woman with a Flurry of Blows

Edgar's 1st Attack w/ Temple Sword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 181d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Edgar's 2nd Attack w/ Temple Sword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 151d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Edgar is clearly upset with this evil witch for causing harm to a fellow dwarf let alone trying to kill this party of new friends. He moves diagonally to M4 and strikes out at her.

Edgar moves into flanking position with Lort and takes a swing at the Mite. Moving to K6 making sure to move around and not provoke an AOA.

Edgar rushes up to provide Lort some back up. (Double Move H5)

Edgar takes a five step forward and unleashes a Flurry of Blows against this foe.

Edgar's silent pray is complete, "On my way."

He does a double move and moves up beside Lort.

Edgar follows Lort and Khalos down the corridor and through the door.

"You've made short work of that door my friend and now it looks as if you might have found another fight."

Edgar then responds to the voice behind the curtain, "I am Edgar, what are we to wait for? As for why we're here to deal with an infestation and to fix that door."

Edgar agrees and performs a Perception check to help his companions.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

"Good idea my friend."

If the creature is still alive after Lort's attack Edgar will take a 5 ft step diagonally towards the monster, which looks like it puts it in flank. Edgar swings at the creature

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 2 = 18

Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

"Time for the fight you have been looking for my friend."

Edgar readies his attack, granted there will be anything else to kill after Lort has his turn with them.

Edgar also follows Lort into the room. Upon seeing the three tied up he goes to the closest one and before he removes their bindings he examines them.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

If it's safe to remove their bindings he does so.

Edgar stands at the ready behind Lort as he opens the door. Ready for whatever is making the noise behind it.

Not to be left out Edgar also makes his way to the doors Lort opened.

"Getting a little too anxious are you my friend? Maybe we'll find something for you to kill soon."

As he walks into the room Edgar looks around.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Edgar follows beside the other gallant warriors with his temple sword drawn and ready.

Edgar follows behind Lort, keeping an eye out for anything unusual among the stones.

Perception for Stone Traps: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14

A look of obvious disgust emerges on Edgar's face as he looks around at the overgrowth.

"It is a shame this Gallery ended up this way. It must be a magical enchantment or filthy inhabitants that have caused this. We Dwarves would never have allowed anything like this to ever happen if we still lived here."

"A very fine observation Khalos, dwarven stone work is unmatched. I don't believe this gallery will try and turn us into monkeys, but if it does I hope it makes me bigger."

Edgar lets out a huge laugh as he steps forward into the tunnel.

"Let us go my friends and figure out what it is that has Torvic so upset."

Edgar knows that dwarves a notorious for their stone craftsmanship and that this must be the door to the Gallery. He takes the parchments from Torvic, clearly seeing his dwarven kin is to exhausted to help and proceeds to take 20 to see if he can decipher any pattern that will successfully open this door. If he is right the correct pattern will open the door and the wrong one will surely kill them.

Edgar who seems to have been lost in meditation comes back to reality, "Sorry, you are right."

He walks over to the statue puts the pearl into the empty slot.

Edgar also studies the runes and the door to see if he can help figure out how to open it.

"Torvic, is there anything else you can tell us? Do these runes mean anything to you?"

Edgar looks at the carved images and any Dwarven writing that there might be. He will also look for anything unusual within the stone. Being a Dwarf he should be able to help.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

Edgar says to Torvic and the group, "If we are done here let us continue on towards the Gallery. I'd rather be underground then out in the open when night falls. There's no telling how many more of these things are out looking for Torvic."

Then he walks off following Lort hoping his companion has picked the right path.

Edgar knowing they won't get anything else of this creature leaves the cave to tell Lort, "You should dispatch this creature, so we might get on our way."

He also says to Lort, "I am sorry for not listening to you before. We, I should have listened to you for it was the wisest decision. For us and the creature."

Edgar looks from Torvic to Lort.

"What say you brother? Do we need any information from this creature? I feel torn letting Lort dispatch this creature, but him and his companions were attacking you. May Torag forgive me whatever you choose."

Edgar puts away the pearl and grabs Torvic by the shoulders.

"Torvic, where is this Gallery of Wonders and who is this woman you speak of? How can we help you help our kin retrieve our glory?

"That is only fair. I did not mean to cause insult."

Edgar pulls the pearl from out of his robes and shows it to Torvic just out of his grasp.

"Will you help us Brother?"

Edgar steps in, "Brother,"

As he speaks to Torvic he slips into Dwarven, "Я рад, что мы вас нашли, и что вы хорошо сейчас. Что здесь произошло? Кто или что это за враги, которые напали на вас?"

So as not to be in the way Edgar stands to the side while Gunari heals his kin. If need be he will stand ready to talk to the Dwarf in their native tongue to reassure him their intentions are noble.

Edgar is solemn in this moment as he learns what is in the cave. Without a word Edgar's sword is at the ready as he moves up and attacks the closest enemy with a Flurry of Blows.

Edgar turns to Lort, "Stop your bellyaching. If there's things that need killing then it will be done. No need in rushing up there when we have no idea what to expect."

Edgar looks to Khalos, "That is a fine idea." and he starts climbing to the entrance of the cave.

Edgar reacts before Lort can make a move up to the cave.

"Stop! Listen! As much as all of us want to get out of this weather and as inviting as that cave looks there are sounds of fightin coming from within. We need to be cautious as we approach the cave. Is everyone in agreement?

"Let us get started then."

Edgar mumbles under his breath, "To much talking is hurting my ears."

"I apologies my companions, but it has been a long day and we have even longer ones to come. I will meet you all at the gates as well, but first I must go pray."

Edgar bows before he turns and exits.

"I agree a fine toast as well as a fine drink. Many thanks Gunari."

"I'm ready when you lot are. Let go find my brethren."

Coming up beside Khalos Edgar says, "Let me have a look too. Since we are looking for another Dwarf I think I can be of assistance."

Standing beside Khalos Edgar studies the scrolls as well. With the ability to read Dwarven, as well as an insight into Dwarven lore and religion maybe he can decipher something from the scrolls.

Knowledge, Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Sounds good. At first I missread your post and thought you wanted us to buy and carry a ton of stuff with our meager wealth. Is weather something we will have to worry about? That is what I was trying to imply when I said I didn't want my companions to freeze on me.

Edgars looks sideways at Lort and says, "Really you need us to find a Dwarf in the mountain?" Edgar rolls his eyes.

"Excuse me, good Captain thank you for giving us the food for this journey that you need us to go on, but are you going to be giving us anything else? Perhaps a map?" "Or wine," says Edgar under his breath barely audible except by Lort who is next to him.

"I only ask, because I don't want to get up into the mountains and my companions freeze on me.

Edgar takes the wineskin from Lort takes a hefty swig and says, No worries there probably won't be enough left for the serpent after we're through with it." Then he takes another swig before passing the wineskin to Khalos.

Edgar greets Thaddaeus, "Greetings, my name is Edgar. What are you hailed by?"

While waiting for a response Edgar continues to look around for a server.

As Edgar McGowan enter the Lodge of Almas he is taken aback by the company that is already in attendance, but his reaction is only fleeting as he walks in an introduces himself to the group.

"Hello my friends, I am Edgar McGowan. Sorry for my tardiness, but I was deep in prayer."

While he introduces himself he continues to look around for anything to eat or drink.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Not seeing anything he asks the group, "Has anyone seen the good Captain?"
