Dys spends several long moments contemplating the pile of shinies. She vaguely remembers a plan to turn the shinies into metal rocks, but cannot remember the details now. Maybe if they go away for a while and come back, the metal rocks will just appear and be waiting for her at their new hut. Yes, that is very likely.

"Dys come too! Ride da skelebug."

If Dys had feathers, they would be fluffed up now. Finally some proper recognition of their amazing deeds! And shinies! And feasts!

Feeling magnanimous, Dys adds: "And yous can eat at the feast too, you be good slaveshanks!" It occurs to Dys, perhaps belatedly, that the slaves could have run away in their absence, but they didn't.

She pats Svetlana approvingly, only instead of a shoulder she reaches for a knee. "Yes. Good sheshank, you."

"Yes, the shineys!" This had seemed very simple at the start, but now they had killed the pig, and some longshanks, and a godbug, but there were no shineys to be seen.

Dys gives Chompy a confused look. There had been the papers with the words, and then... Dys couldn't remember the rest, but was pretty sure that Chompy knew how to get the shineys.

The birdshanks had the right idea, being more taller was seeing better and farer. Dys climbs into one of the recently vacated shanknests and settles in to keep watch, which lasts for all of 5 minutes before she starts snoring, the boomstick cradled in her lap and her head resting on her chest.

Dys capers around for a while, kicking at the trees in case more longshanks fall out. The proceeds to dig in their innards to recover the precious metal boom rocks. The loot has some shinies, but nothing that goes boom, although she could perhaps try setting the green bottles on fire...

Poking her nose into the music box, Dysis so startled by the sudden sounds that she almost drops it, but then recovers and starts cautiously poking at it, trying to figure out how it makes the sounds. Should anyone wander close, Dys snarls at them, cradling the box to her chest.

Now that the danger of the boomstick exploding was slightly less, Dys takes aim at the axy ladyshanks.

The stupid ladyshanks boss was walking right into Dys' line of fire! The goblin hisses to Chompy "Duck!" before unleashing the power of the boomstick.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Damage: 1d12 ⇒ 8

However, no boom is forthcoming, rather a choked and weak "bonk!".

Annoyed, Dys reverses the grip on the boomstick and looks down the muzzle. Grabbing a thin branch, she inserts it in the boomstick, furiously rooting about and muttering.

Spending 1 Grit point to fix the boomstick.

There were more longshanks to kill in hilarious ways! The throwy boomshank made such a funny noise when he fell from the tree!

Dys rushes forward, already putting another metal rock in the boomstick.

Longshanks were crazy, for sure. They thought they were birds, roosting up in the trees. Time to bring this particular fowl down, then. Aiming up through the foliage, Dys unleashes the boomstick at the unsuspecting pigeonshank.

Whoa, boom rocks! Dys gets briefly excited about the idea, trying to figure out how boom rocks could be loaded into the boomstick and shot at things, before realizing that one of the boom rocks had landed very close to Dys.

Not to be outdone by Scrabble, Dys also gets sneaky, but in a different direction. Her side was surely the best and held the most treasure and sleeping longshanks that could be easily killed.

Dys hovers near Chompy, in case the dragon finds any of her metal rocks inside the piggie. Metal rocks are hard to find, so the ones Dys has are very precious.

Yikes! Dis piggie fast! Dys dives out of the way, but not fast enough, as a rear hoof clips her in the shoulder. That will be a huge bruise and no mistake!

The bacon song has lost its novelty, so Dys is no longer jumping up and down as she gets up, shakes herself and sights down the boomstick again. Maybe not jumping will help with aiming!

Dys splashes through the river to reach the others, holding the boomstick up and whooping.

'We da bestest goblins! Mightiestest slayers of monsters!"

Dys stops for a moment to consider something. "Dys wonders if we get shinies for owrbler..."

Dys proceeds to try and cut off the head of the owlbear.

Dys perches on a rock, the boomstick ready to fire on ... that doesn't look much like a boar, but what can you do. If it moves and growls, kills it and eats it. She squints as she sights down towards the noises.

Dys is impressed despite herself at the skellebug, but then quickly distracted by Rugnut's questions.

"We have da best home. Took it from da longshanks. Longshanks are our slaves now. Dey have deze pieces o' paper with slimy words on dem. Chompy reads da words, tells us we get shinies for killin' stuff. We get lotsa shinies, trade them for... for stuff. And we iz all equal and dere iz no chief!"

After this entirely accurate summary of the situation, she starts dragging various loot towards the exit from the caverns.

Dys waves a clawed hand lazily at Chompy as the other stuffs some half-cooked godbug meat in her mouth.

"We be big goblin heroes, we's are. Dis godbug be threatenin' da whole area. Look how big it was! It would have dug its way out and killed lotsa things! But we killed it first!"

Hmmm, I think I have been using the reloading for the boomstick wrong! Even with Rapid Reload it's a standard action to reload a two-handed firearm, my bad. So you're right, Mogawg, the extra attack wouldn't help.

"We are da greatestest!" shouts Dys as she scrambles to her feet, using the boomstick as a crutch. "Godbug is dead! Best goblin tribe!"

She then proceeds to start digging into the carcass with her dogslicer, looking to get back the metal rocks she shot at it, but also to see if there is anything else interesting lying around in there.

Mad Scrabble was going to fight the GodBug! Not to be left behind, Dys trains the boomstick on the head of the big bug, snickering to herself. Will she headshot the enemy from under Scrabble's nose for a third time?

Who did this goblin think he was, telling people who they were in charge of? What was with all these stranger goblins ordering them around? Listen to me! No, listen to me! Dys fumes silently at Ser Helmut's treatment, another grudge to nurse and another rival to plot against.

Sulking, Dys helps search for fireworks, and the idea of causing big explosions brightens up her mood somewhat.

"Ew, scribbly things! Dat be for Chompy to look at. Chompy!" Dys positions herself menacing in front of Ser Helmut, in case he's trying to steal the things with words on them, although why any goblin would do that is beyond her.

"So, are we eatin' or what?" Dys grumbles, still confused about who was going to feed whom, and what is even going on with all these new gobbos and their lizard pets. Dys busies herself with some improvised surgery as she attempts to extract the metal stones from the various skulls that they have been buried in by the boomstick, carefully checking the bodies for any shinies in the process.

"An' what are we doin' with dis zombuggy? Is he followin' us now? If so, he gotta sleep in da stables! He stink too much!"

I've played on RPG Crossing quite a lot and on Discord a little, so I can do either of those. There's also Mythweavers, Giant in the Playground, Roll20.

"Breakfast? But is afternoon. Scary bird should be... should be... what is da fancy meal that humans have in da afternoon?" Dys has similar feelings to Scrabble on the stranger gobbo giving them orders, but her brain is currently caught in the conundrum of Breakfast. And while all this fighting has made here a little peckish, she's not entirely certain why the stranger is offering them his bird to eat...? Or maaaaybbeeee...

"Scrabble." She elbows the other gobbo in the ribs, stage whispering to him. "I think he offers trade. He gives us da bird to eat and we listens to him. Not sure is good trade, tho. We have plenty of ugly blue gobbos to eats now."
