I'm certain it's been noticed that my posting's been sparse as of late. I'm afraid that if I continue this will keep happening, and will probably just get worse. I've tried a few things to keep up (drop games, schedule posting time, etc), but it hasn't helped enough. At this point I'm just dragging things out. So rather than continue on this course I think the most prudent thing for me to do would be to drop the games I'm in.

I do apologize for taking this course of action. I don't like quitting things, which honestly is just as much part of the problem. I've taken on too much, both professionally and personally, and now I'm at that point where everything I'm doing is suffering from it. It's not just here where I've made mistakes and now I need to get things in order. I hope there are no hard feelings but I do understand if there are. Once again, I'm sorry for this.

4k is almost enough, and e chain shirt for me is only 2100 so I'll help you out. Mithril breastplate should be what, 4200 I believe. Another 1000 to magify it.

Before giving me one of the chain shirts, a question for GM Blood. What would I need to roll to see if I could maybe find a +1 Mithril Chain Shirt in town?

I appreciate the Fast Bombs applying to Alchemical items, GM Blood! That'll really help out a bit on resources for extended adventuring days. The whole haversack thing has the move action to draw penalty, but Dryn isn't exactly weak and I did take Ant Haul just in case (21 strength for carrying capcity? Yes!).

As far as the Rapid Shot feat, at that point I personally would rather spend the feat slot on Composite Longbow proficiency. Bit better range, I prefer it thematically, I just like x3 crits (lol), and I could get it strength adjusted (though that really doesn't add much). Rapid Shot has a good chance of being my 9th level feat when we next level up at this point. That'll put me at 10/10/5 for touch attacks on bombs without other feats. And heck, if I didn't use the third iterative, or just spent it on an alchy fire or acid flask, it'd still be good to have two attacks at that higher bonus.

One thing I've definitely noticed is how the Chirurgeon archetype interacts with the rest of the class. I took it for the thematics and don't regret that at all, but I can see it's problems. Losing out on Poison resist +4 wasn't too bad (haven't really noticed that at all) and I do get the +6 version this level. I lose out on poison immunity but with the +6 I don't think it'll matter too much. Infused Curative versus just taking the infusion discovery though is the big issue. I can heal others with my extracts but beyond that I can't do much else. Slightly problematic. But hey, at least I can breath of life at level 10!! And I'll definitely keep one of those prepped at all times.

Sorry, wasn't trying to undermine anyone else. I just noticed when going through and catching up on the gameplay thread there was a lot of discussion about haste and the best options for other people to spend their actions on early in combat. Both Aarakess and Skorhald have a variety of useful buffs for the party whereas Dryn doesn't so much due to how extracts work compared to spells. Figured I'd give the option since it'd open up other ideas for you two.

Starting to consider my feat for 9th now. With Fast Bombs it'd make either Rapid Shot or Two-weapon fighting a bit more worth it, but not sure what to go for. Since I use crossbows rapid shot would mostly be useful for bombs, whereas I rarely melee which means I wouldn't use Two-weapon fighting as much. I suppocse I could try to find a way to get bow proficiency, hmmm. Got an entire level to ponder it! Either way Fast Bombs would run me out of explosives quickly on it's own.

Dryn's been updated now. I ended up changing the format I was using (something I've been meaning to do) so it's a bit clearer now.

Something to consider on the buff front is that I can use spell trigger items. Not sure if it would make something like a wand of haste worth it or not (something like 11k gp after all), but that would free up Aarakess and Skornald to do their thing.

Happy to have her alchemical goody bag back (plus the rest of her stuff), Dryn is definitely in higher spirits than before. "I'm really glad that's over. I don't think I like having a twin. Especially an evil one that tries to hurt my friends." She then helps Aarakess on the identification of the magical items.

It only takes me a minute to mix an Identify extract versus the one hour for you Aarakess. Plus it lets me feel useful!

As far as the boons, I don't think they're actually allowed to link them because they're for Golarion Deities, but not sure on that. The whole what's allowed and what's not thing. Looking at the book though, Angradd gets about one paragraph in the book, and a trait.

Without my alchemical goodies, I'm the equivalent of an NPC warrior. But I've got the heart of a tiefling alchemist!!

Funny Story:

So back in 3.x days, as a DM I had managed to get the spellbook from one of my player's, a wizard. They were far away from civilization at the time and he didn't have any backups. I was sure he would complain to no end about it.

Nope! He took a mithril chain shirt from party treasure, put a helmet on his head, took up a crossbow, and became the group's crossbowman for over an entire level, not casting any spells until he had gotten a replacement. He took it like a champ and played through it. That's my inspiration now whenever I lose out on a bunch of gear like this to just push on through and enjoy it!

As a side note I'll be gone next week on a work trip and experience has taught me I'll not be able to post during that time. Very sorry considering my just recent absence!! Please bot me as needed.

They captured me the first night we were here and I was hooked up to this huge machine. It was horrible, it ripped though my thoughts and memories, I really really didn't like. To add to the discussion I currently live in Central Illinois. I'm kinda fortunate as far as gaming groups go. I've been in the same group since High School back in '95ish. We've had members change out but the same group. Since we've got friends all over (including one on active duty in Spain right now) we use Roll20 and Google hangout to play Every Sunday. Our Skull and Shackles game is on Hiatus for the next 6 months while the GM is in Spain, and we're alternating Mummy's Mask (which I'm running) with a Savage worlds game we're starting tomorrow.

I've never been to Paizocon, and currently don't have plans to attend. Gencon though I think in the past decade I've missed one (ever since they moved to Indy). Sadly I'll be missing this year as well.

Okay, yikes! I was thinking Improved Invis with doppelgangers. Since the dispel goes for the highest level spell, figured get that dropped quick. That could've been ugly.

The solution to any problem is fire. If that doesn't work, more fire.

In the case of a cold, I do recommend salsa. I don't know if it makes you healthier, but I know it makes me feel better.
