Untying and letting the rope fall to the bottom, "Watch out for the rope." She called out. Once Litsy was safely down, Divina began her descent. Athletics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Crushed it! With the practiced ease of climbing the rigging of her parents ship, the Bard skittered down the ladder with graceful speed.

Divina looked down from the top of the cliff, "I don't suppose you can lift that ladder so we can climb down without issue. Wouldn't want to leave all this rope behind."

Putting down her bag and pulling her own rope out, "I've got some as well. There might even be enough to knot it make our climb down easier. I've got some experience with knots if you'll permit me."

After hearing some of the tales of what a small portion of the Sea Wolves have done to captured ships, Divina wasn't entirely phased by such cruelty. With a steely resolve, she answered, "Please point us in the direction of these little monsters."

With a graceful bow Divina replied, "Thank you for the gracious offer. Let me confer with my companions for a moment." Turning to Tiny and Danalf she whispered, "Well, it seems we're presented with quite an opportunity. I know that the scouting mission is a priority, but perhaps a slight detour will both help them and alleviate the potential Goblin problem. I say we accept this task."

Putting a hand on Danalf's arm, Divina thought for a moment. Maintaining her friendly tone she replied, "As we are new to these lands and know not was sort of needs you might have a suggestion of what we can get or do for you?" Years of watching her parents haggle over the price of had trained her well. Diplomacy (Make an Impression): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Putting a comforting hand on Litsy's shoulder, the stood confidently and spoke as melodically as possible, "Please be not cross with us as we are new to these lands and have little experience beings such as you. Your lovely singing was quite the beacon for the curious, but that is no excuse for our intrusion. Perhaps we can offer some recompense?"

@ GM - And that is why I was asking. On the subject of the last language, do the Sea Wolves have their own language? And would it have been beneficial for my Parents to have learned it? Also waiting to see what the GM says happens before my Diplomacy Check.

@ GM: I do have an open language slot at the moment. Would you be opposed if I just wrote in Sylvan? I imagine my parent's ship would have encountered a fey or two in their travels.

I'd like to apologize for my lack of posting as of late. Been having a difficult time focusing on RP. This is turning into a difficult month for me. My Dad passed at the beginning of July, and October is a favored month in our family, especially for him. I keep finding myself thinking about him on a more regular basis lately.

Divina was a little slower getting to the horses than she normally would have been. But once she arrived at hers, the Bard quickly secured the tent to the back of her saddle with a series of intricate knots. Much better, she thought.

The Bard gave her an impish smirk, "Please, if I can sleep through the snoring of thirty sailors, you wouldn't even come close to waking me up with that." Turning to the shopkeep, Divina purchased the tent. Picking it up she thought to herself, Oof, definitely keeping this strapped to the horse. Purchased 4-person tent. I can carry it, but it puts me at 6 Bulk which is my Encumbered limit.

Divina looked about and found a couple of candles, some twine, and even some Tindertwig. Not sure who in this frontier town has the skills to make these, but that's not important right now. She even got a pint of oil. GM - Would you say that some twine would cost about the same as a candle?

"I see," Divina replied before gobbling down her newly brought food with surprising speed. After letting out a small belch, she then said, "Well, let's get to shopping."

Divina answered without missing a beat, "Being this far from Iona isn't really an issue for me. I was born and raised on the sea. As for why I'm here, landscapes and song playing sound perfectly fine to me. But adding a little spice to one's life never hurt." What is she playing at? Does she know something? The Bard wondered.

As if on cue, Divina's stomach growled, "I have to agree with Litsy. We should get some breakfast first. It'll probably be the last hot meal we get for the next couple days." Turning to the Rogue, "I only need to get some candles and twine."

After heading back inside, up the stairs and selecting a bed in the dorm, the Bard crashed easily enough. Especially one the Dwarves arrived. Their snoring lulled her to sleep as it was similar to how the day shift on the Coral Spear. When they started getting up before dawn to prepare for their workday, Divina was up as well. As with every morning she spent fifteen minutes melodically plucking the strings on her violin to keep it in tune. Divina then sent the next forty-five minutes with the rest of her daily routine, which to her was near meditative and she couldn't help but hum to a tune that only she could hear. Once she finished up the Bard headed to the common room. Her eyes fell upon the stage, and again it seemed to be calling her. Shaking her head, Divina took a seat next to Danalf, "Good morning, sleep well?"

Divina thinks back to a specific time where a disgruntled crewmember tried to set their ship on fire with alchemist fire and a candle. "You know, there are ways of 'direct confrontation' that don't require being direct. For instance, if we were to say arrange a torch to fall in or close to whatever structure held said supplies, it would disrupt their operations at least for a day. And if they were to investigate we'd be long gone with nothing to tie us there. Assuming of course they even knew we were." Divina stretched and yawned, "But might I suggest we leave in the morning?" She also didn't want to waste a pre-paid bed entirely.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Divina. I do a little of this, a little of that, mostly I play music to inspire my shipma......others to greater heights of success. I also happen to know an odd spell or two," The Bard blurted out before she could stop herself. "As to why I joined, this seems like it's going to be an adventure. And I like adventures, so many new things to see."

Divina blanched slightly at the mentioning of possible Black Crescents being involved but quickly shook it off. I mean, what are the odds word has reached this far? "I'd say we have everything we need for now. Although, where are we bringing the information we find?"

She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but something was telling the Bard to follow him. Getting a couple more spoonfuls into her mouth, she followed the pair outside.

Even though she wasn't intentionally listening to their conversation, the mentioning of Iona caught the Bard's attention. With practised ease, Divina went about eating while listening as to go unnoticed.

Divina wanted to see if she could follow those that left to see if she did something they didn't like. But her stomach protested otherwise. Not sure if it was clear, but I cast Dancing Lights during the performance. It just took the form of four tiny birds flying around me. As always, when she performed well, Divina bowed and was just soaking up the cheers. The birds made of light still flying about her. Once again that little whisper came to her ear going "Give them what they want." Despite the fact that she was supposed to be in hiding, against her better judgement the Bard continued. Encore: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 This time, the birds transform into glowing green leaves that begin to swirl and dance about the room as the music plays.

Losing herself completely to her muse in the moment, the Bard decided to add something a little extra in the show. As she continued playing, four colorful lights began to spring from her instrument. Taking the form of tiny birds, the lights started dancing about Divina. They continued to do so until the song was done.

Divina nods her head and removes her cloak as she walks to the stage. With it removed, you can see clearly see whip at her hip and three daggers arrayed at the small of her back. Placing her backpack and cloak on the side of the stage, the Bard stepped up, gave a quick pluck of the strings to make sure that they were in tune, and soon began playing. Divina smiled, I am most certainly not a lady. Well, of the noble nature anyway. Pulling out a Stag from her purse, the woman placed it on the bar, "I'll take a Dorm bed for a couple of nights if you please." It was completely going against maintaining a low-profile, but she could not help herself.
