Dimitri swung his torch at the roach that appeared next to him...

But misses completely. He then steps back and commands his skeleton to attack the same creature, which swings both it's claws at the creature [ooc]

Dimitri advanced up the stairs then commanded his skeleton move in between the pillars and attack one of the creatures.

I'm kinda in the same boat SD, so I can definitely get where you're coming from, but I think that alot of the issue is that we're low level. I know that for me I really only have 1 trick, and without more corpses I'm gonna be reduced to swinging a stick a things in short order.

Dimitri pushes on the lid but can't get it open. Then the skeleton attacks. Seeing this, Dimitri moves away from the creature and mentally commands his skeleton forward.

Dimitri seemed undeterred by the stench; instead, he moved directly to the sarcophagus and tried to open it up.

Dimitri sends his skeleton forward to engage the black "skeleton" in the center of the room. It's going to provoke, and I have to remember to use my bound souls ability to heal it if it takes damage.
