Who are you playing Deepdweller?

I'm Jak'el.

I've had this 1st level Conjurer ready to go for another RotRL game that fell through some time ago.

Dorian Nok - there is a brief back story and reason for being in sandpoint at the bottom of the character sheet. If you would want more elaboration let me know. Hope I get accepted to play. Thanks for the consideration.

I'm definitely interested. I have a dwarven rogue I rolled up for another 2nd Darkness game that fell through. He is first level. The character concept is fairly simple, he was a miner, until the mines flooded, had to make a living off of grave robbing, thieving, trapping, etc...falling on a bit of hard times he has come to Riddleport to try his luck at the "Cheat the Devil and Take his Gold" tornament.

I'm very interested. I'm a 32 year old long time (20yrs) gamer. What is the party composition so far? Are you taking "first come first play" or are doing a "try out" here?

Correction to previous post:
In my haste I made a mistake in my previous character concept post....the Cavalier's order would be Cockatrice not Dragon..sorry for the typo

Character Idea:

Race: Human(Shoati decent) who was abducted by slave traders as a young child

Alignment/Class: Neutral, Cavalier(Order of the Dragon)

Background: He was sold into slavery as a young child, was then given to Lamm by is "father"(noble owner) to pay for an "accidentally" killed prostitute in Lamm's employ. Later escaped Lamm by faking his death and joined the Chelaxian military...upon completing his "tour"..he has returned to Korvosa, not only seeking vengeance upon Lamm but also against the Noble slaver who sold him to Lamm as a boy.

Personality: Cold and self-serving, but not above working with others if it suits his own goals.

Thanks for the consideration. Happy gaming.

Excellent. Happy choosing!

Second Darkness sounds good. Will "roll" up a character; Rogue most likely. 20pt or 25pt buy?

I would love to throw my hat into the ring for consideration. I currently play in several Pbp's, one of which is finishing up the others are slow...would love a more fast paced/mature (i'm 33, gaming since about '87) game. I can post several times a day every day of the week (love iphones). Would probably like to try playing an Inquisitor/Rogue or something along those lines. But can/will play anything. Thanks for the consideration.

Couple of examples of characters
Lucian Z'ress
Angus Skulkiem
Lydinia

I'm interested in a high momentum PbP. I've played in several PbP's. None of which moved/move along all that quickly. I concur with Talomyr, a Legacy of Fire game would be cool or Rise of the Rune Lords. I have a Conjurer all set to go for RotRL(Conjurer). Willing to play in any campaign with any character type however.

Also interested...a little mystery pathfinder..i like it. Will work on a character concept..maybe an Archer Paladin/Rogue..hmmm?

Just wondering, are you "auditioning" or just taking the first interested PC's?

No. Enchanter 4/Rogue 2

We have player number two !

Excellent! Looking forward to it, thanks! I've been playing a lot of warrior and priest classes lately so I wouldn't mind changing it up to some sort of arcane caster...maybe a witch/rogue or wizard/rogue..?

Well...seeing as how I make my living on and beneath the water...I would have to say my favorite Lovecraft story would have to be "Dagon"...short and sweet. As for a favorite seen? No particular seen is what I like about the story...it's the subtle way the story is done...written as a suicide letter by a man driven mad by simply seeing the creature from the deep...awesome. The story leaves the rest of the horror up to the readers imagination invoking questions of what does lie in wait in the dark waters of the world? Questions that when you are actually in the dark waters of the world can truly cause moments of fear induced
insanity (all be it temporary).

Thinking about a Human conjurer named Dorian Nok. A now, power hungry man scared by the loss of his wife; murdered. He has vowed "never to be weak again" and has come to Sandpoint during the Swallowtail Festival following a lead that the..or one of the..murderers of his wife will be attending the festival.

Just a thought so far...

I am greatly interested. I can post very frequently. Will download and read the players guide for RotRL and post a character concept ASAP.

Working up character concept. Thinking of a dwarven rogue, treasure hunter/merchant type. May multi-class later with cleric(abadar).

Dice rolls for ability scores:

1.4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 4) = 18 drop the 2 =(16)
2.4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 3) = 14 drop the 1 = (13)
3.4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 6) = 16 drop a 3 = (13)
4.4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 1) = 11 drop the 1 = (11)
5.4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 4) = 18 drop a 4 = (14)
6.4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 3) = 12 drop the 2 = (10)

I'd be interested in an "old school" style campaign! What do you think your character creation guidelines will be? PFS rules?

Hello...

Anyone with any info on a gaming session or groups in the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey areas? I am looking to play in a campaign. Thanks....

I know this post is a bit old, but Hubbster and I are looking to get a game going. We're in Montgomery County/ Northwest Philly suburbs... that might be a bit far if you're in South Jersey.

Hubbster is Jesse Benner, and he's one of the top 8 2010 RPG Superstars, so we're waiting until the contest ends to get a game going.

But - if you're interested (and anyone else out there in the Philly area is interested) we'd love to get a Pathfinder game going...

Again...I too know this post is a bit old but....I live in Philly and would be interested in discussing a possible PF game!

I have two alias's (rough draft characters) 1. Lucian Z'ress - human fighter and
Dorian Nok - human conjurer...leaning towards the conjurer...let me know if you have any preference.

Probably will not post again tonight...it's the stanley cup playoffs here in philadelphia..and we just went into O.T.!!!

Sounds perfect, will start planning a character.
