Crea-Asp would like to play, but to be honest I don't have time to weave a detailed interaction story to the other PC's. I come up with a basic background, and my fun is building the characters personality, history, and relationships through role playing. I hope this doesn't keep me out, but if so... have fun.
I'm Sure the Crea-Asp has ended up in Zobeck for several reasons. First... Is there some way that the gears and steam so prevalent in this industrious city, can be used to make improvements to armor? Second, Everyone come to Zobeck. If there is some type of Armor that he is not aware of, he could certainly find out and question the person possessing that armor. and Third, With its proximity to the Dwarven Cantons, and the Margreave, surely there must be techniques and enchantments for him to study that might be applied to his lives quest. Crea-Asp is a curious, and likable fellow, quick with a pun, but sometimes a bit slow on the uptake with understanding others humor. He is a very friendly and outgoing Dragonkin, and has no trouble engaging in conversation with almost any social group. He lacks even a shred of prejudice... though he's not so sure about those Minotaurs, and truly believes that negotiation along with impenetrable armor would do much to reduce violence and conflict in the world. I have been a fan of Midgard ever since I discovered it, and use it as the setting for my home-brew adventures. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner, and missed some of the Open Gaming Content that is no longer available.
Here is Crea-Asp's planned progression to Level 6:
Spoiler: Level 3 – Bloodrager • +6 HP • Skills: Climb, Diplomacy, Perception, Spellcraft / Craft: Alchemy, Handle Animal • Saves: +1 R, +1 W • Blood Sanctuary: Due to the power of his blood, a bloodrager can stand confidently amid the effects of spells cast by himself or his allies. He gains a +2 bonus on saving throws against spells that he or an ally casts. Level 4 – Bloodrager • +6 HP
Level 5 – Bloodrager • +6 HP
Level 6 – Bloodrager • +6 HP
Crea-Asp has been slightly modified, and leveled up to 2 for starting. Decided to just go with minor armor, and shield at this time as that is what I will update with the level 6 character. If chosen I'll pick a few items to spend with the remaining funds. Oh and BD it would be fun to roleplay the conflict between Minotaur and Dragonkin

Crea Asp has no weapons effective at that range, so he'll continue to climb. If he makes it to the bridge he'll scoot across. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Climb a

I hate to be a downer, but this is boring as crap. Can you just roll for my character and let me know when / if I make it to the bridge. Weeks of game time just climbing and jumping, when our characters weren't designed for it just isn't fun.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 Climb 3
"Hey you up there! Quit lollygagging around, and come on down. We need to make that bridge before the goblins... Ayyyyyyy!

With a last look at his discarded armor, Crea-Asp straps his shield to his back, and digs in to climb again. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 Climb 1 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Climb 2 And once again his strong claws, and balancing tail keep him on track.

Crea-Asp spits and sighs, beginning to remove his heavy hide armor, saddened at the memories associated at each piece. "I am not very agile, but wearing this armor, probably gives me little chance if we have to jump and balance".

Crea-Asp stares at the dragon in wonder for a bit. How magnificent it would be to be able to converse with this beast that has seen and experienced so much. But in this place and this situation, he feels that getting to know the Dragon would probably take place from inside his belly not his mind. "Does anyone see anywhere else to go besides trying to descend further by those peeled away patches"? 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Perception "It looks to me like they are milling forth from somewhere underground. Perhaps they have a lair there"?

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Climb Not sure if that means he made it or not... 1d4 ⇒ 3 Whoa! 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) = 5 Ow! So I guess 4 lethal, 1-non? Crea-Asp tries to use his claws to gain purchase on the slope of the creatures back, but the oil baked out of it from the sun made this a slippery slope. He starts out fine, but then loses his balance, but just before landing he's able to get his feet under him.

Crea-Asp broods silently. He does not know who any of these people are. That one is loud though... but just before he decides to throw her off the platform, she makes the wise decision to become silent. He then walks over to gather his belongings, eyeing each of the other moving beings suspiciously to make sure they don't touch his things. After gearing up he observes the situation. I neither trust nor particularly like any of the others moving about, but for now perhaps I can use them to win myself free. Unless I can wake that Griffon, and somehow talk it into flying me out of here, that might be my only choice. He then walks towards the others, and merely croaks out his name in a rasping voice. "Crea-Asp". He then lumbers over the the Griffon to see what the situation looks like there. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Perception

Crea-Asp was lurching drunkenly towards the Gnome when what was being said hit home. He stopped momentarily, and begin to cast around for a weapon... just in case this was a trick of some kind. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 Sense motive: on the gnome

Crea-Asp opened one slitted eye. The memories... had he died and this was the great beyond. He had seen the Dragon... the magnificent beast, then the spiders... I hate spiders. It was so confusing, what was real, and what was not. But, this time it seemed different. He didn't just drift off into la-la land again, but seemed to experience growing awareness. And distant voices... no not distant, but faint and growing louder. With a start he sit up, or tried to. The fur on his armor seemed to be matted to whatever surface he was on. With a groan he rose to a sitting position, and noticed that others seemed to be moving around as well. But so many were not. Then he noticed the gnome and for some reason he hadn't figured out yet he was filled with rage, and sprang painfully to his feet. He reached for his weapon, for his shield... where were they. It didn't matter his rage led him forward, he had never tasted Gnome anyway, but he had an overwhelming urge to remedy that.

I've actually played in this module before, but am pretty good at keeping character knowledge away from player knowledge... but if you're not happy with that, feel free to move me to another game. |
