I am going with Commissar. ;-)

"Die spawn of chaos!!!!"

Vex takes a ill-aimed shot at the nearest target

BS 30 1d100 ⇒ 90

He takes cover.

"Well, you think yourself a tough guy De'Lark. Come see me after the mission. That is if you're still alive."

"Guardsman De'Lark, explain to the rest of the platoon why you were NOT at attention during the inspection."

Commissars are given a wide latitude on when to inflict the punishment. Latrine duty with a toothbrush is one way of doing it. Although punishing the rest of the platoon for its failure to help the commissar to discipline an erring member is also possible (e.g. gomer plyle eating the donut while the rest of the platoon does PT).

Common Lore (Imperial Guard) 1d100 ⇒ 16

5 Degrees of success I believe.

Vex consults his knowledge of outstanding regulations.

Commissar Vex, Trooper Drususon, and Sgt. Mire, make an Easy (+30) Awareness check.

Awareness 1d100 ⇒ 4

Vex, being a commissar, has a sixth sense for trouble. One could even say jokingly that he has eyes at the back of his head. Though one would be very stupid indeed to imply that he has a mutation in his presence.

For Eradico

Spoiler:
I do hope the storm trooper is also an Untouchable. Commissar Caine aside, I'd like to have an adjutant.

No demeanor yet though I am trying out what can be called as fatalistic.

Vex notices that everyone hates him or does not trust him. A bad start he tells himself. But the Emperor does not makes these assignments. The Munitorum does.

Vex checks the safety off his bolt pistol before replying to Sarge, "Lead on then. Hell awaits."

Commissar Vex prowls the deck as he calls the inspection to order.

"Men, you are about to march upon the enemies of humanity. And you will all do your very best to be heroes that I can assure you."

"Present arms!"

Is Common Lore (Imperial Guard) the proper roll for inspection?

Commissar Vex massages his neck muscles to ease out the stress he is feeling. He then checks his chainsword and bolt pistol. Thereafter, he considers the mission ahead. Most of his charges, may be himself may not leave this dustball ever again.

Your comrades will help you perform miracles. I guarantee it.

Remember: you are not allowed to die without permission.

This is my rifle
This is my gun
This is for fighting
This is for fun

<repeat until exhausted>

Thank you very much Hathin.

Big Question: Is the Commissar Uniform a form of armor or just a uniform?

MORE MISCELLANY

Rad, maybe the Commissar can glean some motivational techniques from Sgt. Hartman! ;)

Great minds :-)

Watching Full Metal Jacket as preparation for this one.

Watch This

Wounds: 1d5 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Fate: 1d10 ⇒ 5 equal 1 fate point

Well ladies are you ready to party?!

Init 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Like all good leaders, Vex takes the rear guard position the better to direct the actions of the others.

Chiming in, guys. Eradico, I assume a Commissar is still needed.

What rolls do we need to make? I don't have the Beta release yet.

If we're using the penal legion option then I'm sure the combat drugs will be in there somewhere hehehe

This is my character for 11th hour.

The Commissar smiles to encourage this burst of initiative.

Vex looks over the troops for any sign of incomprehension or insubordination.

"No one will be left behind. By the God-Emperor's good grace, we shall all cut through the jungle. Sergeant Dryak, we await your plan."

Vex hints that if the sergeant is unwilling to lead then he shall take command.

Logging in as promised
