After reading the Tinker stuff, I really hope Throne of Night gets picked, because I feel like an inventor who idolizes the form of a Drider and tries to mimic it mechanically could be interesting.
One thing I will say is that this thread has got me reading through Zeitgeist, and it's really, really good (and is really tempting me to run it in the future).
That writeup does make Throne of Night sound pretty cool (though I haven't personally read up on WoBS significantly). Would the new Polished Dark Sphere be allowed? Because a Drow themed game seems like a good excuse to mess with that (assuming I don't decide to mess with either Tinker or Void Conduit Summoner, instead).
While I have a few concepts in mind (a drow inventor type or a drow with a demon bound to their soul), I'd be interested to know what Xan are like, if only because being a mushroom man could be amusing.
That's good to know, considering I'm really tempted to try Conduit//Innovator Technician for the ultimate mad inventor. What level of firearms would Zeitgeist be using, just out of curiosity?
Zeitgeist sounds like a good excuse to finally knuckle down and work out how the new Tinker sphere works, so I'd be in favour of that. But then, I also have a decent character concept in my head that'd be perfect for Throne of Night - a Matagot Wraith//Advisor trying to act as the power behind the throne.
For the purposes of Boon of the Well-Traveled Wanderer, do Combat Talents count as class features (and thus would be gained) or progression (and thus wouldn't be gained)? I'm specifically looking at Veiled Soldier.
How many characters do you intend to pick? I kinda want to try making a Rajah, but (much like Skalds), they're somewhat dependant on party comp to function well.
